first of all its not that easy to find ishta devta earlier people used to do pooja of at least dozens of gods that don't mean u don't love your ishta devta..they don't care weather u love them or not because we are not that great yet

I think ishta devta can't be choose through DOB it's our personal choice whom we feel connected to that is more important so which ever god you like to praise you can call him your ishta devta bcz feeling connection with god is more important

Same! I've always been a Bappa bhakt by birth naturally. I just love him and drawn to him automatically. I get tears in my eyes and goosebumps when I think of him and pray to him. And my dob is also 5th October ❤❤ So bappa is my ishta devata ❤
