i support young griff being a blackfyre for two reasons: 1) george likes to write about the human heart in conflict with itself, and it’ll create a lot of moral dilemmas for dany if she finally arrives in westeros to see a pretender on the throne who is beloved by the smallfolk. on one hand, his claim is false, but on the other hand, he is a good ruler, so does his claim really matter? dany will have to make the decision between letting a usurper sit the throne or letting the realm be ravaged by yet another war. the smallfolk don’t care about who has the rightful claim, and they just want to live in peace. 2) idk why george would create a whole family that are the targaryens’ greatest enemies, and that they’ve fought multiple wars against in the past, only to not bring them into the main story in a significant way

The mummer's dragon could be a real targ, since varys + ilyrio are/were mummers. I dont really have strong feelings either way but targ or blackfyre, he is a mummer's dragon by virtue of his early supporters being ex mummers

great vid dude. one thing I've always believed is that the mummer's dragon doesn't mean fake dragon, the "mummer" in question is Varys, and his dragon is, well yk and actual Targaryan (or Blackfyre w/e)

I think viserys even went to the Golden company and got turned down. As for dany and aegon I really don't know how its onna go down because we still have to see him meet and maybe have a few petty battles with dany and attempt to take kingslanding from cersei but I think it will probably be before the others break through the wall and they will make a temporary truce either at kinglanding or maybe even somewhere in the riverlands which idk why but it would be kind of cool if they did the negotiations on isle of faces. None the less I do believe it will be like the show where dany and aegon and maybe even cersei make a truce to deal with the bigger threat which makes me wonder if euron and victarion would be at the talks aswell. Kind of hope to see in the books with victarion betray euron and make an alliance with cersei think it will thicken the plot a little bit if that were too happen but to get to the main idea of the video I do think aegon is a blackfyre

Yup and that is a fine opinion I was addressing more of the comments where people say what is the point of making the videos or stuff like that. Even me personally I don't think Dream of Spring will come out! Also, thank you for enjoying the vids!

Another cool hint that a Blackfyre is afoot- Moqorro's dragon vision. In it, he sees, "Dragons old and young, true and false, bright and dark". It seems this could be interpreted two ways. A) that it depicts two dragons; one that's old/true/bright, and one that's young/false/dark. B) that it depicts six dragons, including one that's 'false' and one that's 'dark'. Either way, the Blackfyre implications are all over this quote. And I fully agree with you that of all the Blackfyre candidates, Young Griff is the most sensible option.

Some ideas I have for a future vid 1. Viserys being a Targaryen/Blackfyre. 2. House Lannister is actually house Lydden. 3. The connection of House Casterly and Castamere 4. Wyverns and Dragons 🐉 5. Humanity came from Sothoros, (ancient cities left alone for centuries) 6. The power of Azor Ahai and the Lord of light is just magic being performed by the priests of Asshai (no god exists)

cercei's prophecy: killed by brother, she thinks it will be tyrion but most likely jamie daenerys's prophecy: dont trust the mummer's dragon, we think it will be faegon but that seems too easy to be the answer and we are led to beleve it is him but what if it is jon or idk it wouldnt surprise me if george is steering us astray

Even though I believe Aegon and Dany will eventually fight each other, it will require a very significant trigger. I don't think Dany will automatically oppose him just by learning of his existence. It would be more in-character for her to be positively intrigued by news of his victory and support his claim until she has a strong reason to suspect that he is an impostor.

Thank you for your insight and time. Good video. I think like Cersei, the politicians will bicker in the south while the north deals with the others. Only when the north is almost defeated will the dragons arrive after Danny burns the false dragon.

When making the video about the plot holes, you should address the gaping inconsistency of Varys' and Illyrio's plan in that they want Aegon to take the throne, but at the same time provided all the help to Daenerys - gave her dragon eggs, arranged her marriage to the most powerful khal, sent Barristan and Tyrion to guard and advise her, etc.. How does it all add up? It seems they are the only reason why Dany amassed so much power that directly threatens Aegon's ambitions.

I completely agree, it just makes too much sense. It fills the prophecy, it explains the Golden company's actions, and it's the only rational reason for the decades long partnership & scheming of Varys & Illyrio that makes any sense. The idea that Varys is truly just doing all this "for the good of the realm" is just laughable to me, lol

@@jsull81 and the flaw in Varys' story is how out of character it would be for Elia Martell to save her newborn son but not her daughter, and that there’s no way Varys could perform the baby swap in time, it's all too conveniently timed. The only flaw I can see is lying to Kevan and even then Varys has been a spymaster basically his entire life so he knew the walls had ears. I think only he, Strickland and Illyrio know his true origins.

And I think the reason why he lied to Kevin was, as you suggest, because the speech wasn't for Kevin, but for whoever else was listening in the walls And I forget where I initially heard this, but that the reason he opened the window wasn't necessary because of the smell, but to let the moon light in, because that is how glass candles work. By using the moon as some type of satellite to reflect transmissions back & forth. And I've also heard people suggest that somebody was skinchanging the white Raven. Whatever the case, the point is that there were other people listening and that's who the speech was for. Plus, it makes no sense for Varys to spell out his actual plans to a dying man
