that's what we called "A WHISTLE NOTE" but she did it longer. amazing woman she is.

Her best known power cover is probably Never Enough, which clearly exceeds the original. The two most impressively difficult, beautiful songs are both sung in Tagalog - Akin Ka Na Lang, and Gusto Ko Nan Bumitaw. But she slays whatever she sings.

She considered as once in a generation artist and serves of sooo well known many reactors as their favorite artist to react with. Her million dollar voice makes her another level artist around the world.

Four years ago she had a five octave plus range. She just turned 27 and her lower range is much lower and deeper with more maturity and warmth. As she works on her voice who knows what it will sound like when she fully matures.

Mori got a Rock Medley she sangs on Mitsubishi Motor Show LIVE!!! There you can hear the ability of her voice in higher range even without the whistle tone. THAT TONE WHEN SHE SANG "DREAM ON" SHE CAN BREAK A GLASS THERE. Lucky those glasses are made of Fiber. 🤣

My Filipino spouse took me to the Atlantic City tour concert last year (iirc). The audience was brim full of Filipino fans, which was so fun to enjoy with, but I couldn’t help but cringe at the realization of how much of her audience is was yet untapped. She is better than merely world class, she also has so much soul and presence in her songs. The concert was absolutely stunning, even though a great portion was in Tagalog. Christian Bautista and Eric (sorry, don’t remember his name at the moment) were also truly terrific, but Mori has my heart sewn up right.

I've seen the videos for Morissette for years but, this is the first time I've checked one out. I just trust your reactions...

I would have never guessed you would actually do a Morisette music video. She is a Filipina who is from Cebu Philippines. She is one of my favorite singers from around the world. She does have plenty of covers but she shines even more in her original songs. It is a Foreigner song but Mori did a cover of Mariah Carey's version

Her own songs are Trophy, Mirror, Phoenix, Love You Still, Will You Stay - there are several versions of them as she varies how she performs a song. Her Bruno Mars medley is recent, so is the Undangon Ta Ni dance video or the Moon River / Usahay mashup. She doesn't use the whistle tone as much anymore nowadays as she said in an interview she doesn't want to be defined just by that. Magnificent vocalist but also excellent at emotion. Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw in any version showcases that, but also her performance at the 2018 Asia Song Festival of the song "Resignation" or her accoustic cover of "Drivers License" by Olivia Rodrigo.

The Bruno Mars medley has such soul and joy and fun and polish. It should be near the top of any Mori list. My spouse is Filipino. The singers there are bonkers good, but Morissette touches a part of my soul that happens very rarely, honestly not much since Celine.
