Scarlet Witch destroyed an infinity stone with one hand and held Thanos off with the other. If you watch the scene Thanos used all the power of the infinity gauntlet and couldn't break her power. That's really impressive and imo gives her the #2 spot.

Thanos didnt use the full power of the gauntlet against scarlet witch or thor, because in doing so (as seen with the snap) using 100% power would destroy the gaultlet and he didnt want to do that

Where did you get that from? Thanos was just using the power stone for shield as he walked over to her. You can see what happens when he uses all of the stones the moment he snaps and breaks the gauntlet with it. Thor is an interesting case because it's clear that Mjolnir must've been holding him back from his potential as he was clearly stronger without it once he learned to utilize his true power. Then we get to see him going through the steps of crafting Stormbreaker which you didn't bring up in this video but which to me shows a LOT about what Thor is capable of as he restarted the forge along with Rocket (Rabbit) with a rope and a space pod and then he took the force of a star directly for a few minutes without dying. Finally, after he gets Stormbreaker (which seems to actually amplify his natural powers like a weapon should) we see him decimate Thanos' army and then almost kill the Mad Titan himself with a single blow, overpowering a full-powered blast from the Infinity Gauntlet.

Lycon Xero the axe absorbed the power because that’s its special ability. It had nothing to do with Thor himself. Without that weapon, Thor would have been one shotted. He also surprised thanos and caught him off guard. Iron man did the best out of anyone against thanos hands down

heres where you are wrong thanatos didnt use the full power of infinity gautlet and no mjolnir wasnt holding him back. Thanatos as we saw can only use the full power once before his gautlet is destroyed thanatos saved that one charge for killling half of all life and only used a little to try to stop thor nothing can take the full power of the gautlet no one. Thanatos was just holding back so he could achieve his goal. Thor is very powerful but i dont think he deserves number 1 at all the scences with thor were very misleading to what his true power is.

Kellan Yes you right. It's not all about who would beat the other though it still is a factor. My sentiment that BP and Valkyrie are superior to War machine remains. Valkryrie and BP are better fighters, more durable, Valkryrie for sure is stronger, she also has Asgardian blades and they can both do as much work/damage as war machine in a given time frame which is basically the definition of power. For example War machine is powerful enough to take out multiple weak opponents and a quinjet sized vessels in a short space of time while Valkyrie with a sword and brute strength accomplished similar feats in Thor Ragnarok when she destroyed large spaceships and quickly plowed through Hela's zombie army in a timely manner.

Thor tanked machine gun fire, having a boulder the size of building hurled at him, tanked the explosion of the country of Sokovia, the explosion of his spaceship and the full force of a star if she is just half as durable as Thor is war machines explosions wouldn't even scratch her. You need very sharp asgardian weapons or some other space blade to scratch an Asgardian or exceptional kinetic energy in the form of punches/ explosions to KO/ mortally wound one.

Jonathan Li War machines bombs wouldn't scratch Valkyrie and would only serve to powerup BP. Valkyrie can jump really high so War machine's flight advantage starts to deteriorate when you take that into consideration.

Dr. Strange could possibly be the strongest hero. Yes Thor could conceivably defeat Thanos but in reality he didn't and in the end Thanos' defeat will be because of Dr. Strange. In addition Dr. Strange intentionally lost to Thanos and Thor did not, in the end Dr. Strange's ability to strategize will win over Thors attempts at brute Forcing to victory. In terms of physical power Thor is superior but that's not all that makes someone more powerful. After all Strange was able to defeat doormamu a god of a entire dimension.

It's Deadpool. He breaks the fourth wall even more than She-Hulk, and is effectively immortal. He's the leader of X-force. That's a team, and he's been in 2 or more movies. If Thor had aimed for the ARM and chopped off the arm with the gauntlet, the fight would have ended right there. Like in the HISHE version.

Deadpool is part of the X-Men franchise not the Avengers, which is why you haven't yet seen Wolverine, Cyclops or Storm in the MCU, they're not part of the same universe. There have been comic book crossovers between the Avengers and X-Men, but they're classed as crossovers because they are separate entities.

@@TheTradge The X-men have ALWAYS been in the same universe. They even approached Spider Man early in Spider Man's career and asked him to join the X-men. If you need more proof that it's the same universe as the MCU, Magneto's son and daughter (Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch) were in several MCU movies, and Quicksilver was ALSO in an X-men movie. Now that Disney owns them both, you can expect the X-men to show up more often. Deadpool is most definitely a Marvel character.

@@RedwoodTheElf - My point is that they have been established as separate entities thus far, and to refer to Deadpool as the most powerful MCU character is incorrect; I'm obviously not saying he's not a Marvel character because that would be idiotic, X-Men and Avengers are all under the Marvel umbrella, however X-Men have yet to make their way into the MCU, and their own film series isn't yet linked into that world, with the exception of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, neither of whose back stores have been explained in a great amount of detail.

I think you ranked Nebula too low. Although it is understandable considering how she has fought on-screen, don't forget, her main opponents have been Gamora; one of the best fighters in the galaxy, raised and trained by Thanos, and Thanos himself, possibly the strongest person in the MCU. (At least for now) Not even to mention, when Thanos said he caught Nebula he said that Nebula had come very close to ending his life. Now I'm not sure how strong all the Avengers would be in a 1 on 1 with Thanos, but we've only really seen Iron Man, Strange, and Thor come close (Arguably) so I believe Nebula's skills as an assassin are massive and so far unseen.

Agree 100%. Quicksilver should have been higher. He had never seen Thor's hammer before, so would have no clue. He's also seen destroying bots as he flies past them. His punches may not be that powerful, but since he can throw like 25 in the time it takes someone to throw one, does it matter? Plus he was only hit by the bullets because he was helping Clint and the little boy dodge them. He had dodged them more than once in the movie. the only two times he was hit, he was saving someone else.

Wow So this is my life she may not have had much screen time but remember she was the only one to overpower Thanos in Endgame and torture him so bad he called for back up and risked his own troops, I mean this is a guy that solo'd Ironman, Thor with both weapons and cap (w/o mjilner of course) she did really well and was one of the few that had the power to kill thanos alone

He's going off movie and referencing the comics (which I have no issue with), but you can tell he wasn't giving the full facts, Black Panther lost to Killmonger and almost to m'baku because he was holding back and not going for the kill, in the comics he had to fight an entire group with similar if not greater skills to the death without the herb, but my point is Strange would be #1 if we were talking comics since he can copy powers and is immortal while Thor shows great vulnerabilities

I like that the stalled. But I do not buy that Strange could have defeated Thanos. He could delay himn and counted on it and timed it for Ant-man to be in quantum realm and other stuff then needed to be in position (like Thor's Stormbreaker, because without Groot, there would not be handle and without handle Thor would not summon it and without summoning it Thor would die). However, since Avengers did pretty good job with Children of Thanos with minimum damage to Earth (basically some buildings in Scotland, few in New York and Wakanda's countryside) and very few lives lost... IF Strange could have defeated Thanos, the war would end right there, right then and without any problems. They would just need to discuss, divide and hide/destroy infinity stones that Thanos held.

Strange doesn't need to give up the stone,he have could create a time loop or stop time and chop his hands but he didn't because.if thanos is defeated there wouldnt be need of captain marvel,so captain marvel wouldnt show up (Since nick fury dosent contact her).Strange might wanted capital marvel to join the group (avengers) for some reason we don't know yet.or he might give up the stone since that's the only way they won and giving up the stone would result in a different situation somewhere at that perfect time,which would lead to a better outcome and less damage This is just my theory ,it doesn't need to be right

Strange cannot do a small time bubble. He brought time to Dormamu's realm. There was no time before, it was then and Strange casted time loop on the WHOLE Dormamu's domain. That would never work in our universe. Also chopping Thanos hand was not an option. Thanos would never fall into that trap. He had means to escape (Space stone, reality stone, soul stone with its own microverse). If Strange could have defeated Thanos right there and then, he would have gone for it. He needed board set in certain way, like living Thor, which depended on living Groot, which depended on Thanos getting the final stone later. Same with Ant-man, he also needed Tony. Stark was the greatest avenger along with Thor. At the end he sacrificed everything, he sacrificed his own defences, cannibalizing parts of his suit to make weapons and tried so hard to undo Thanos.

Yeah, I agree with Thor, Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange being the MOST POWERFUL out of all. Thor: He basically survived a blast from not just a star, but a dying star which is probably 10 times powerful, he also managed to overpowered Thanos attack at the end of the film, but, yeah, should've gone for the head. Doctor Strange: He was ONE on ONE with Mad Titan himself with no help at all, and put up a good fight with Thanos and the infinity stones. He also traveled through time which makes him more powerful because he would know the next step to take down the enemy or how to handle situation, which is why Strange gave Thanos the time stone and let him win, it's APART OF the plan. Scarlet Witch: Gotta say, she's pretty weak in close range fights because maybe she needs to learn more from Cap and Widow, but, at least, she did put up a good fight, but her powers were super powerful. She managed to hold Thanos with one hand and another destroying AN INFINITY STONE, an ancient relic as old as the universe itself, got destroyed by a superpowered human who gained her powers for like 5 years. That's OP enough for the MCU. EDIT: Thanos only used ONE infinity stone when he was up against Thor (Probably Power stone) and Scarlet Witch (Space stone for forcefields) so it makes sense why they managed to overpowered him at first time.

As you can see when Thanos fires the blast at Thor, the colour of the power is white/rainbow, not purple, meaning he used all 6 rather than just one. Against Wanda, though, the shield was only one colour.

Strange-peak IW( did very well against thanos with 4 infinity stones and suppressed himself for the timeline the avengers won in). In addition, he didn't even want to win, because that wouldn't be the one future, where the avangers win. Scarlett Witch could beat a Thanos without any stone and hold back a Thanos with five stones, but I don't think, Scarlet Witch would be able to fight Thanos in a 1v1 if Thanos has four stones...

Loved the video and the breakdown. One thing occurred to me during your analysis of Falcon. He was Air Force Para Rescue before he became Falcon. Well worth the time to look into the Air Force's para rescue men. I believe it is hands down THE most difficult team to become a part of in all the military. AKA "PJs" The things that these guys go through to become para rescue men are just overwhelming. Their dedication versatility, physical fitness, field medics, survival tactics, fire arms capabilities, not to mention they have to go through special forces dive school. I consider the real men actual super heroes. Their motto "So That Others May Live" says it all. So I digressed a bit. So knowing that Sam Wilson was a PJ is another huge factor that I would take into consideration when assessing his skills. Again, immensely enjoyed the video. I feel like a kid again. Take out Thor from #1 and the list is right! Thor's more of a #3. Scarlet destroyed a stone and Strange has ("had") technically unlimited power, but they decided that he didn't because time travel/manipulation always results in a contrived plot.

@@AlexK-sk4qb Yes I agree mostly with you, but, the 2 weapons Thor has had are probably the most powerful ones Marvel has ever made. I would put him as #2. Dr, Strange has the time stone, which is the most powerful stone, in my opinion, since it can reverse the effects of the other ones making them useless. I think Strange is #1.

so the thing with Hawkeye, he's nowhere near the most powerful, but that works for him not against him, since he's constantly underestimated by his enemies. he's one of the only heroes to survive in the Old Man Logan timeline. and is often one of the heroes who survives or remains fighting in apocalyptic or underdog scenarios like the comic age of ultron and secret empire. and he still is able to take out people who are objectively stronger than him, as he's beaten people with superpowers in the comics, which is just great when you think about it, a bow and arrow, albeit tricked out, beats villains like the wrecking crew, Abomination, and a few others like this in the comics. the movies sell him really short. I'd also drop Mantis below Falcon. because put her in a straight up fight, and she goes down easily. also, I think Ant-Man is more dangerous small. Giant-Man is arguably his least effective combative trick. when small he's far more difficult to fight 1 on 1. and even fighting groups being small is still more effective in the contexts he uses his powers. keeping a fight indoors and close quarters means being Ant-Man, not Giant-Man is far more dangerous since he has the room to maneuver and his enemies don't. if he finds a way to transition from Ant-Man to Giant-Man to Regular-Man seamlessly and in any order he'd be pretty damn near unstoppable in a straight fistfight.

I mean, myself and others who pay attention to detail don't think Hawkeye has been sold short. In the first Avengers, when he was corrupted, he took down a helicarrier with a single arrow before the major fight even began. He also had a lot of important shots in that movie. The second Avengers movie, he had a lot of major roles, important saves, as well as providing the hideout for the team to reunite, and convincing Scarlet Witch to be an Avenger which turned out to be crucial. Also, whenever he's around, his team wins thanks to a lot of his major assists - Avengers, Age of Ultron, and him coming out of retirement for Civil War when Cap was able to get away and get the "W".... Hawkeye was gone for Infinity War and look how it turned out. I think the Russo Brothers know what they are doing with him. It's just a little too convenient the way it's all turning out.

he's not useless in the films, but he's not yet had one of what my friends call a "Hawkeye moment." when he does something so far beyond what people expect, like in the comics and the cartoon earths mightiest heroes, he got a few moments where the other avengers were all down for the count against some powerful enemy like Abomination or a bunch of ultron controlled iron man suits, and everyone else is unable to do something, and Hawkeye's the one to pull out the win. he's sorta had a half one in age of ultron where he is the only one on the ship not to get mind whammed by Wanda, but that's not a real Hawkeye moment. I really hope one's coming in the next avengers film.

Carl Deaton The Hawkeye that was talked about in this video is the MCU version. All the heroes in this video are the MCU versions. Please don't bring any storyline from the comics into this because it's irrelevant.

Dr. Strange. Dude literally turned a mini black hole into butterflies. And I'm sure even a micro black hole is more powerful than a star.

Tony Stark • Iron Man I would agree with you if this wasn’t the MCU or it included the comics. But stranges power has been roped in for the movies. If he was comic book strange then all the other heroes could just go home while daddy strange handled things lol. I’m glad they did that though because watching a 3 minute movie of doctor strange defeating everyone wouldn’t be nearly as fun(yes it would). And that’s 20 seconds of film time, and roughly 2 and a half minutes of credits lol.

It was just the mind stone, which Thanos placed in the Gauntlet before quickly using against a Thor that was taking him by surprise. Also, Thor was bifrosting the ONE beam away, not "overpowering" the whole Gauntlet. Had Thanos wished, he could have used the reality stone to turn Thor into jelly or something crazy like that. Thor did not overpower the combined power of all six Stones.

I think scarlet witch deserves 1st place.She held back thanos with 1 hand and still providing enough energy to destroy the mind stone. People say taboos was not going all out to get past scarlet with but I don’t think she was going all out to hold him back either. thor was the only one that could almost kill thanos but he needed the most strongest weapon.i think scarlet witch is one of the few people that can kill thanos using her raw power

But scarlet witch could hold back thanos using only half of her power (see when she is destroying the mind stone) then again she was also able to hold him still for an amount of time during the final battle. She is rather strong.

Gotta be Thor by a landslide seeing as how he was the only one to actually deal any significant damage to Thanos while he wielded the Gauntlet. In the comics there's no way Thor could hurt Thanos like that tho.

Top 5 in my list: 1)Thor he is a god and is proven by the movies to be indestructible and dishes out incredible amounts of power 2)Dr. Strange he can menipulate time and is (as far as we can tell) is indestructible he trapped Dormammu in an endless time loop 3)Iron man he made THANOS BLEED, beat Hulk and was the only one who Thanos respected, enough said he is a powerful man 4)Scarlet Witch she is very powerful but never came close to hurting Thanos who was using only one infinity stone to block her attack 5)Hulk he is powerful as can be but lacks strategy and brains
