Because if she does that can raise so questions like how she couldn’t see where the Asgardens were hiding in the mountains and why she thought Thor and Loki died in there first fight. I think Odin may have sacrificed Hela to obtain the Soul Stone, and it was in his possession up until he died in Ragnarok. Noticed how Hela reappeared at the very moment Odin died? I think that’s because her soul had been imprisoned in Odin’s Soul Stone and when he died, the Stone returned to Vormir and Hela was freed. This is also why Thanos waited up until the ending of Ragnarok to go after all Stones.

No, Thanos is a genius like Tony and others, he has superior-technology and when he fought the avengers, he studied them, that's why he knew Tony Stark in the battle on Titan and when Tony was shocked and asked him about it, he said "You're not the only one cursed with knowledge", he probably knew that Odin will be able to stop him easily, that's why he didn't take move.

Norse myth already has a ton of inspiration to draw from for example Odin actually has more in common with Loki in his youth more a mastermind trickster, they kinda hinted about it in Thor Ragnarok. P. S he also has a talking head that gives him advice in the Myth but they could just make it another Asgardian in the film

Also we can have flashbacks to Thor's and Loki's youth which means they can adapt some of the funnier elements of Norse myth like that time they had to crossdress to retake Thor's hammer or that time a Wizard tricked them into doing challenges for him. (it won't be the last time a wizard made fun of them)

No, that’s not how it works. If that’s the case, then the Reality Stone shouldn’t work with the others, since it’s from a different set from the other stones. Why would Thanos bother wasting time with all the heroes of that Galaxy, when he could just go to the other Galaxy, and gather them all there peacefully and let his squad find them? That means that currently, with the 2 galaxies mentioned above, There are 12 stones, but we’ve been told that there were only 6 scattered across the Universe, meaning NO, there are NOT 6 stones in each galaxy, but they all are in one Universe. Even after endgame this theory is still pretty plausible. There’s still maybe a few plot holes like how to get the soul stone and why Odin would make it like that but that could possibly lead anyone to a long conversation and debate about why a good guy couldn’t get it and why a bad guy couldn’t get it and why Thanos was the one to get it.

I could listen to Anthony Hopkins talk all day in a movie, he's very engaging (Especially Transformers: The Last Knight)

Loki created the mess in the first avengers movies because he was trying to gain power and he betrayed everyone. infinity war wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Loki's mistakes. He's literally the god of trickery and mischief.

What if when Odin felt that he had to left for Frigga he used the powers of reality stone to make a illusion on Asgard BCOZ he knew that Hela will be back and Ragnarok will be the only way This just gives me hope for the original Asgard

And besides you have to take in account how old is thanos in the MCU and how he learned of the stones in the first place. Im not sure that Hela is Dead.

Honestly, I think that Odin got all the stones then he went to war and created Asgard as his kingdom. After all Asgard has a very powerful tools and equipment's and people that has special powers. I think Odin gave up his stones because he couldn't handle the power and injured himself (he has to go to sleep for a very long time just to recharge his power. He doesn't even know when the next time he will make up). Odin then got scared that as he got weaker he will not be able to handle the stones power. So he hid the stones so that other people will not collect all the stone to be used against him. That why he placed the stones in very special places. That is what I thought.

She would know (sense) if the stones were real, just like any of the Asgardians. She would also presumably know what Uru looks like on sight...like we know what aluminum or plastic look like for example.

It came to my mind too...😉 It's the right arm gauntlet there in asgard. And Odin's right eye which is gone. So that makes sense.

Odin also told Thor that he is more powerful than him in Thor: Ragnarok, could this explain why Thor was actually able to kill Thanos (if he had gone for the head) in infinity war? Also it wasn’t the hammer that could’ve killed Thanos as Odin told Thor that his hammer is just a tool to direct his power.

The russo brothers themselfs said that if thor had aimed for the head instead of the chest, thanos would be dead. So, yes, thor could have killed thanos with stormbreaker. But don't forget... stormbreaker is NOT like mjolnir. Mjolnir was a tool for thor to focus his Power. That's why no one else ( ecept vision) could lift the hammer. Stormbreaker is an other kind of weapon. It has Power of it's own ( for example summon the bifrost). That's why Groot could lift it. It is not bind to thor...

Yeah, you could also see thor just pushing back thanos' gauntlet blast with ease. Again the weapon is to concentrate the power. Same reason odin has a weapon. A small concentrated blast is far stronger than a huge blast with the power distributed all over the place.

Odin doesn't have to have collected all the stones in order for this theory to carry some merit. I think that it wouldn't be at all a stretch to say that Asgardian technology is based at least in part on the infinity stones. This is actually very in keeping with the theme of magic being technology that people don't understand. That was what made Asgard so powerful: they came into contact with some of the most powerful artifacts in the universe and were able to understand them enough to build technology based on their qualities, and even to imbue individuals with qualities from them. Think about it: the Space stone explains the Bifrost and Heimdall's innate teleportation abilities. The Reality stone explains the Soulforge tech from Thor 2, Loki's illusions, and Odin's ability to permanently change Loki's appearance. The Soul stone explains Odin's instadeath energy staff, Heimdall's ability to sense every being in the universe, etc. It also fixes a tiny plot hole, that being that if Asgardian abilities are all technological, why don't all Asgardians have access to them? The answer is that Odin himself imbued particular chosen people with these abilities and they no longer have access to the Infinity stones. Lots of possibilities here that can tidy up a lot of MCU lore.

I agree, I mean it's a theory but completely plausible and would make sense. I don't understand why others are saying endgame makes this cringy and what not. The only thing is that Odin wasn't the one to reverse the snap, otherwise I think it's a decent theory.

Just look at that monolith where Thanos throws Gamora off. Looks like its very similar in style to Loki's helmet and Asgard in general.

Also, if you watch the opening scene of Thor, it resembles the place where Odin defeated the king of the frost giants and took the Tesseract. Monoliths seem to be closer together in Thor, but still look about the same otherwise.

We just need a whole odin or ancient Asgard movie

Also, when Hela revived her army, there was a green light. This could be a resemblance to the time stone.

Has anyone ever addressed the Infinity Gaunlet itself? The one Hela knocks over is a right-handed glove. Thanos is wearing one on his left hand. That issue shows up in the comic books too.

In the older comics there used to be a "letters to editor" page and these questions sometime led to creative answers rhat may never have really been the idea when it was done.

I reckon Odin tried to collect all 6 stones but only got 5 as he couldn't get the soul stone because he couldn't bring himself to sacrifice Hela. So then Hela saw Odin as weak.

The Asgardian gave the reality stone to the collector in the post-credit scene of Thor: The Dark World, saying "the tesseract is already on Asgard, it's not wise to keep two infinity so close together. And my guess is that not everyone has the strength to wield two, since even one stone can't be taken by a normal means, and if it's near enough, those seeking its power, such as Thanos, can easily take it away. -dont hate me if I'm wrong 🙃

He well could have. OG Odin lore is that he traded his eye to be able to see the entire universe. He hung on the tree of knowledge for 9 days to learn the secrets of all magic. He knows about the stones, where they are and how they work.
