Young Justice Nightwing is probably my favorite version. I like seeing him go from Robin and discover who he is, resulting in Nightwing.

There is a live action series on youtube that is well done considering it's fan made and free. It's like 5 episodes....I think. Worth checking out, the guy playing him is a huge fan.

I love how he said that robin from teen Titans is the weakest member when he literally soloed them…. Twice😂

TBF both times he had a fairly major advantage, the first time he had knowledge of all their abilities and prepped for it(Red X) and the second they were trying to figure out why he was there(as Slade's apprentice)

Personally, for me, I love Will Friedle. Because when he played Terry McGinnis, I always felt that this was what Batman would be when Dick won the cowl. So to hear him as Nightwing in the LEGO universe was great.

In Young Justice he is. Also, I mentioned in another comment, but I love that he still uses the dark and broody aesthtic of Batman's, but still, you know, happy and fun. There is no character like him in anything at all, and it is my jam.

Young Justice Dick Grayson is literal perfection Brandon is a good actor and I enjoyed Titans but he’s not DICK GRAYSON to me at least. I understand everyone’s taste are different but to me Dick Grayson is if you were to compare him to another character he has a personality that’s similar to Peter Parker he’s responsible, capable, a natural born leader and most of all he has a super magnetic personality he’s funny charming and super charismatic that makes him insanely likable in and out of the Dc universe. Titans Dick Grayson is just another CW tortured soul mc that I usually revolt at but I’ll still watch Titans S3 if it comes out and I respect your opinion but Yj captures the essence of Dick Grayson to me so YJ Grayson is best Grayson to me.

When Titans Dick became Nightwing he got better. He still lacks the most Jokster side of Dick. But in other aspects of the character he is good. Brenton just _works_ (for me at least) But yeah, Young Justice Nightwing is the BEST Nightwing. Is the most comic accurate and I love it.

@@sofialu226 brenton is what makes that different iteration of Dick works. i can see that the show is giving him time to develop into the Dick Grayson we know . at least that's what i think .at the end of s3 he's much lighter, less angrier you know ? but yeah YJ nightwing is just perfection . absolute favorite Dick Grayson but i just always wished that they give him an arc where its focused on him but yeah it still didn't happpen yet ( im at the start of s3)

It's true his voice doesn't change but his characters don't necessarily feel the same. Like you said, he does convey emotion pretty well for someone who uses the same voice.

The one in the regular DC comics. He more than capably took up the cowl when Batman was lost in time and plot devices thanks to Darkseid.

Same. Honestly I don't get why the show gets so much hate. It's an edgier take yeah, but it has some really great moments and not gonna lie, costume design is top tier in that show.

Loren Lester Robin/Nightwing will always be my favorite, the episode that involve his parents death still hits hard. Vee will you ever do a video on the best/top 5 Spiderman in the future?

Three unrelated comments: 1. I really love Nigthwing's thing, he keeps the Dark and broody aesthetic from Batman AND the happy go lucky robin personality. I have seen absolutely NO other characters like this, and it IS my jam. 2. Oooooh, that's from where I knew Robin's YA voice from. 3. I hate how batman & robin is NOT the movie that introduces robin, but batgirl, and Batman Forever sounds a lot like a last movie in a series. Those movies titles should have been reversed.

Young Justice is GREAT! Especially season 2! It's not because of it, but that's when Static, who is also in my top 5, shows up!

Great choices Scott Menville was an incredible Robin voice actor in Teen Titans and Brenton Thwaites is a badass Nightwing live action

As a Big Dick Grayson/Nightwing fan myself, my favourite Nightwings are Nightwing in Youg Justice and Nightwing in Titans. Young Justice Nightwing is the most Comic accurate in personality and character for me. Making him the best Nightwing overall. Then Titans Nightwing have the apparence and the vibe. He lacks more of his jokester side, but he gets better. I geniunly saw my man Dick in more than one ocasion when I was watching the first two seasons (haven't watch S3 yet). Brenton just works.

McCarthy, McCartney? McCarthy, McCartney? I'm way in over my head.

OMG. That moment in 09:30 made me cackle for a good bit. I got lightheaded. The background video fit with it so much and your on point " _JUSTICE_ ".

I wish you mentioned Will Fredele who did Nightwing in Lego Batman and Unlimited Animal Instincts. Though he's known better as Terry Mcginnis. The guy who voiced him in The Batman (2004). Also Niel Patrick Harrison played Nightwing.

I completely agree with your take on Chris O’Donnell. He did his job great in Batman Forever, but I hated him in Batman and Robin (just like everything else) but the Nightwing style suit was very cool there! Just like Batman Forever, Val Kilmer, the story, action, and much of the film, he doesn’t get the praise he deserves.

Ooo I have a story similar to Reyes! So in my senior year of high school, I wore a batman jacket and my english teacher loves comics. Well we went to the library and there were acutal bats in the ceiling and she said, "I guess Batgirl summoned the bats" and that made me really happy!

I got the dynamic between you and Reyes lol. From one of the first videos I watched with you guys I quickly realized “ this is the dynamic two people have if they have been friends for a long time “ and you know what I FUCKING LOVE THE BANTER !!!! Keep it up

I’ll have to say the young Justice is my personal favourite

I love this channel. It continues to cover my favorite shows. I actually recently just watched a few of them like that 70s show and gotham. So what a weird coincidence

Nightwing is my absolute favorite character in DC. I relate to him so much (especially in the anger aspect...). I absolutely love Brenton Thwaites version of Dick Grayson/Nightwing! He's so fun and whenever he does something cheeky during a fight I grin! I also love his relationship with Donna Troy (I love platonic relationships!!). I love their banter too! I'm a year older than my childhood friend, and I'm an only child (yeah Donna was adopted by Wonder Woman, but I still relate to her a lot). I think I'm gonna really like Young Justice's Nightwing. I love his animated design the most. I started watching YJ last year and I love it! Kid me would have loved the show too, just like Teen Titans! I also started rewatching Teen Titans earlier this year and its great!

Also, seeing as how I made it to the end of the video I will now do my duty and suggest a topic. I think a really fun discussion could be you guys talking your favorite non-Bruce Wayne Batmen and/or who you think is best to inherit the Batman mantle. I think my profile picture shows the camp I'm in, but I am curious to hear from you both. Anyways, keep up the great vids, Vee!

I’m upset that Jason Todd is going to becoming Red hood and the next season.I like red hood but I feel it’s not a good idea to make him the bad guy.Not to mention but Tim Drake actually having Jason Todd origin story isn’t out ordinary since the DCAU Tim drake have Jason’s backstory

Nightwing really resonated with me and still does, it probably because my name is Grayson, but I digress. I’d love to you you guys do a top 5 OBSCURE DC animated series. The lesser known cartoons would really be nice to see, stuff like “The Batman”, “Legion of Superheroes”, “Static Shock” etc.

The problem with Robin from Teen Titans i think is he doesn't get the same level of characterization as the others because they never delve into his character he never even gets called Dick/Richard in the shoe its only through second material we know its supposed to be him. Sure they wanted to stay away from bringing Batman in but by making him a pwrson non grata they stripped a lot possibilities from Robins portrayal. How cool would have been an episode with Batman were he does his Batman stuff and orders everyone around only for Robin to backfire, the Titans were his first attempt to get out of Bats shadow before he then became Nightwing and we should have seen something of that sort in the show, with everyone eose getting similar episodes focusing on their backstory/past

Nightwing is my personal favorite hero he was a kid and sidekick became a leader of his team and his own hero and new batman back to Nightwing thats amazing

I honestly really like Titans. It’s a modern version fo the original Titans story. I also really like it’s Robins. Titan’s Dick Grayson perfectly captures a Dick who just let his parents killer die and is scared to be Batman. I quite enjoyed what Thwaites does with the character.

I haven’t really checked out the other robins as much. However imma still stay arkham games grayson would still be my favorite even after I learn about them. The reason why is because my favorite Batman is also from the arkham games so if the games are that memorable for me then nightwing would easily be remembered along with it. Plus the suit in arkham knight looks really good to me

the 1960s show was my first live action batman, not from the 60s but my parents had burned disk of it and i would watch it on our dvr all the time. it’s my batman favorite but i will never say it’s the best. objectively speaking i think it’s batman tas and all of the dcau that have the best adaptations and representation of any dc hero, but deep down i will always appreciate the 1960s.

Teen titans ronin was one of the strongest in the group, he beat slade by himself and the team. I think raven is still the strongest on the team.
