This is actually why I think Crazy Diamond is probably the best healer. If we use the spaghetti as an example (probably the best example actually) he uses restoration on it by turning the noodles and sauce back into their original forms, indicating that it can revert chemical changes like what was used to make the sauce (turning it back into tomatoes, herbs and oil) or changing the physical properties of the spaghetti back to into an uncooked form by reverting the process of boiling used to cook it.

+James Evans Indeed, Josuke can actually heal someone who is suffering even severe poisoning (say, from radiation), while Giorno would only be able to heal the damage caused, not the source of the infection/poisoning itself, meaning that if a person had a life-threatening disease, Gold Experience wouldn't be very useful, while Crazy Diamond is just an ora away from getting better. Also, we never see Josuke actually do this, but Crazy Diamond actually might be able to replace 100% missing limbs and pieces by using other stuff, seeing how he successfully fused Angelo with a rock and somehow made that work and not straight up kill him. If we extrapolate this ability a little, Josuke might be able to give someone an instantaneous fully functional stone hand (or some other material) that works just like the original except for being made out of a different material or a weird mix of flesh and said material.

Not as much as you'd expect. Having a buff awesome dude as your healer goes back to Dungeons and Dragons, which was hugely influential on early otaku culture. Stereotypical Cleric in the seventies/eighties was a dude. You see the impact of that in every major JRPG franchise (Final Fantasy White Mage, Dragon Quest Priests, Fire Emblem Priests). The best and most famous healer in Japanese media, Black Jack, is also a badass dude. Japanese stuff with a female healer tends to be stuff where almost all characters are already female. The only series that stand out to me as an exception are Pokemon with the running Nurse Joy gag and the Rance series which has lots of dudes but the healers are almost all dudettes.

In the scene where Red Hot Chili Pepper sucks Okayasu into the power lines below Morioh, Josuke uses his healing in the opposite way he uses it on Kira. Rather than returning Okayasu's hand to his body, he returns his body to his hand, thus sucking him out of the power line. Only Josuke can pull off saves like that

+Maxus Heracross CD punched Sheer Heart Attack which got sent back to the hand, which also traveled back to Kira. It's a different case from Josuke just simply holding Okuyasu's arm. I guess it depends on how the power was used.

I would always pick Crazy Diamond to heal me because it literally just touches you and you are fine again. Gold Experience has to use something to replace your broken parts and it hurts and takes time to do so. Overall definitely the more powerful stand but definitely not the best healer. Like damn, the only negative effect is that Josuke can't heal himself but for others it is the better healer stand always.

yea but its capabilities are magnificent. In his stand-alone episode with Rohan, he managed to heal his girlfriend by restoring part of her missing brain. Crazy Diamond can't do that and I'm not sure how Golden Experience would achieve creating a part of the brain without fucking up the rest of the brain.

Pearl jam's limitations are far greater than CD's. He has to make the food which takes the amount of time to make the dish and it can only really fix body issues that accure naturally/semi naturally. It's not gonna heal bullet wounds or a missing arm

It's highly likely that, if Okuyasu swiped somebody's torso apart, it would come together and thus make Gold Experience useless at healing them. Secondly, Crazy Diamond easily beats Purple Haze by reversing it's effects on the body. If he can fix Jotaro and those civilians after what the rats did to them and Hayato after exploading, I'm pretty sure he can fix the virus by seperating it from the body and restoring the body to it's original state. Not working against Cream isn't that big of a deal. It's one stand ffs. Who cares?

It reverts all actions that damage its user, essentially making it like those actions never happened in the first place. It’s basically immune to damage

Crazy Diamond: Touches you once, you instantly heal every single broken part of your body, including missing flesh, body parts, bones etc. painlessly. Gold Experience: Creates replicas of missing body parts only, and must use an object of equal size to that part, and also puts the recipient of the new part in excruciating pain. Also it takes a long time to work. xForts: "Yeah so GE has the least limitations, but maybe there's just a lot of anime-only people who don't know what they're talking about lol."

Bruh, CD's main ability is to restore, GE's main ability is to create life. Cd can restore something in an instant while ge can patch someone up but it still needs to heal. How is giorno a better healer than josuke?

Gold experience is better cause I don’t remember crazy diamond being able to make puppies out of a pizza you know you guys are just thinking to laterally but when mista gets home after a long day of filling his body full bullet holes he needs some mental healing in the form of pizza puppies and crazy diamond just can’t do that

Ima point out that crazy Diamonds healing can take someone literally blown all to hell by Killer queen and put them Back together in seconds, Heals not just people but things as well, and more over is painless. GE is the more powerful stand sure. But if I had to chose whom to put my broken ass together again I’d pick joskue 10/10 times

Thats not how he is judging things here. Lets say the group gets into a massive fight where the numbers are even. Josuke gets killer queened in the leg or something and becomes immobile. Now the healer is out, he cant heal himself, so the main puncher is out of the game. And when his range is also to short, he isn't as effective as GE in a fight. If GioGio is taken down in a fight, he can heal himself back up, and keep going, but Josuke is down for the count. (granted, I would give Josuke a higher durability rating than GioGio, but when was y=1.5x overtake y=1x + 5? It will eventually have more use.)

I'm Sorry for Being Kind that makes absolutely no sense, thats like saying Reverb or Tusks acts cant be compared to other stands because they haven’t evolved, or that you cant compare Killer Queen with all three bombs to The World because KQ was impaled twice. GER is pretty much the best healing stand, because it can reset any action to 0 including dying or getting injured. A more valid reason to not compare them is that GER is broken and clearly would take the cake.

Yeah GE gave his body life force which is said to be the reason how Bucciarati came back but they don't have anything else to compare it to. Crazy Diamond doesn't give life energy, but it clearly demonstrates that healing the body is enough so long as the soul can go back through will. Hell, if anything, Bucciarati wasn't even alive afterwards, he was controlling a corpse cause fate sentenced him to die no matter what he did. So, really CD came closer to ACTUALLY reviving someone than GE did. Thanks Rolling Stones.

I'd like to see Golden Experience heal something like what the rats did to Jotaro. This is what pulls Crazy Diamond ahead for me.

Yes CD's healing on it self is better then GE, however GE's healing is not as limiting as CD. The two are great stands with very good healing capabilities, but each one has its own drawbacks.

I object: we all know that the best healer in JoJo is Tonio with Pearl Jam. Not only heals your wounds, but it is fucking delicious.

Crazy Diamond is a hell of a lot faster at healing than Golden Experience, it can be easily done in less than a second

Personally, I believe that the best healer in JoJo to be Tonio Trussardi. He can heal extremely long term conditions, is mostly painless, has a low cost, is very subtle, can heal a wide variety of problems, and has a limit that is extremely hard to meet, considering his skill in cooking.

The best healer is Za Worldo because time heals any wound

For real it’s the fact that he very well could have saved him had he known where was and what he was doing but couldn’t a lot of ppl don’t like Shigetchi cause of his personality but honestly he’s a kid that’s how kids act RIP Shigetchi😔

I think the real reason araki decided to not let CD heal josuke would be because no fight would have any stakes. I mean josuke healed hayato MIDWAY through being blown up by killer queen, which literally erase's you. Now imagine if josuke could do that to himself, he'd be one of the most busted stand users ever. He could even beat WOU, due to him being able to heal himself instantly. He'd be top 5 at the very least.

you made one big mistake . Parts of things cant be “gone“ (except Hand and Creams ability) ,if you burn a hand its ash or even less , still crazy diamond could bring THAT hand back. He can return chemical reactions back to their original form dont forget that . as long as you have something you cannot turn it into nothing

Hamon energy is also a good healing abbillity, not only it fixes your fatal wounds, but it also powers you up. But, yeah, it is not as good as stand power.

Reasons why i think Crazy Diamond is a better healer than the rest: -If any of your organs gets severely injured you can just heal it with a punch, no matter the complicity of the injury. In golden's experience case: It can make a new organ of course but the problem would be removing the old organ and putting the new created one inside the person. -Maybe it can even revert tumors into normal cells and cure any cancer -To come to a situation where one of your body parts gets literally erased out of existence you would have to encounter a stand like za hando, killer queen or cream, its harder than you think to completely destroy matter, therefore this situation is very rare because many stands cannot do this proving crazy diamond to still win in this aspect most of the time. -All that this stand needs to be able to heal is the smallest body part (SPOILER: like when hayato's body is almost entirely destroyed) and it will heal/fix it entirely very fast.

Crazy diamond is really good because you literally CAN’T destroy matter. It’s a basic law of physics. If somebody’s hand/leg was chopped off and burned into nothing but ash, CD could still fix it.

@Count Cobalt GE can, as long as it can turn an object covered by a disease into an animal that is capable of carrying it without issue, that animal's blood can be used as an antidote for said disease, Giorno himself uses this technique after infecting himself with Purple Haze's virus during the Man in the Mirror fight.

1 crazy diamond can't heal disease's 2 if say an organ was damaged he wouldn't need to remove it like he didd with the bullets that went through mista's head he can just say if you had blunt force trauma rupture a kidney he can grab any object and for it into someone's body and then use his ability to repair kidney since his ability works by creating new flesh and accelerating the healing process

To me Crazy Diamond is the better healier for more than just the fact that it was the first. The real reason I think it's the best is because of how immediate, seamless, and accurate it is. Yeah GE can heal the user and that's a big deal but compared to CD it's way sloppier. I'm thinking of Hayato here. No other stand, not Cream Starter, Gold Experience, or any could have healed that boy literally a second after Killer Queen blew him up into pieces. Yes CD can't heal the user, but that reflects how selfless Joske really is and how he embodies the Paladin more than the Cleric, a front line fighter who can protect and heal others while he himself is just...kinda tough as shit. That and if CD could heal Joske let's be honest he'd be OP as fuuuuuuuuuuuck.

for Josuke due to the conservation of mass and energy it means that technically he can always heal people.

OKay, idk if you do this in the entirety of the vid, but I loved that you put Everlong by Foo Fighters, while talking about FF.

Additional notes about the limitations of Gold Experience: Giorno needs his hands to use the stand's ability, so him losing his hands would make him useless as a healer, whereas Josuke for example would still function in that role. Also, Giorno is dependent on outside materials for his healing. Non-living materials at that. In a completely sandy desert, for example, he'd be all out of options. And whereas Crazy D can still heal someone in their dying moment, basically countering instantly lethal damage (seen with Hayato getting blown up), while Gold Experience would not be fast enough to do the same. We ALSO have not (as far as I can remember) seen GE replace large pieces, but only small ones, when as mentioned above, Crazy D has fixed an entire body being blown to bits. This one's more just speculation on the limitations though.

In fact, Josuke needs his hands also, because you need to punch something to use crazy D. Also Giorno could transform the sand so he only wouldn't be able to use his ability in void or something. Crazy Diamond is only better in situations when you need to heal someone very quickly, for example when someone blown up.

Right, I forgot Josuke needs his hands too. Pretty sure he doesn't need to punch specifically, as it's been done with just light taps with the fingers (and by... uh... pulling the fist OUT of someone's gut), but right you are. As for the sand thing: I don't think Giorno's been seen fixing anyone up replacing a missing part with anything but ONE single object, matching the size of the missing part. And if that's the case, the sand wouldn't work. But I could be missing something. If you happen to remember a time he did so, please let me know. I'd like to correct my faulty memory. If he can indeed heal people with just masses of smaller objects, being in the desert would actually make his healing even more powerful. But probably also more painful.

He could also literally remale his own body with Gold Experience Requiem to have an indestructible, damage reflecting body; but Araki forgot :)

Outside of attacks from enemies like The Hand and Cream I don't see a situation where a body part ceases to exist entirely. destroyed to the molecular level perhaps, but Josuke can mess with things chemically so that shouldn't be a problem.

i feel like, based off how crazy diamond bring the various parts together, there wouldn't be a chemical way to destroy something that would make it impossible for crazy diamond to not be able to heal it, after all, all the materials are still there (conservationof mass and all), even if they are in new forms now

Well one thing you forgot to mention is that gold experience is limited to flesh wounds stuff like stab and bullet wounds. And if someone were to have a broken arm for example cd would be able to fix it while ge could not.

Luma1337 actually it wasn't dios blood he basically put Joseph's blood back into his own body and because Joseph was a hamon user, meaning his blood which is basically a vampire killer wasn't instantly converted to vampire blood

The thing with crazy diamond is that it bring back the broken off body parts, that could’ve gotten in garbage cans, dirt, or concrete, and they come back from those places, also bringing back potential diseases. This could put the other healers in a shining light because they don’t re use flesh.

5:53 you made me remember the guy from NieR Automata who dosn't want to replace his broken leg because it is the only original part of his body that's left since every single other part he has is a replacement

Why would I choose Crazy Diamond over Gold Experience? Considering the battles and severity of the injuries in JJBA, timing is everything. Gold Experience is a bit too slow.

but in general ge is better in nearly everyway. It can do most anything crazy diamond can do while healing the user, cure diseases as seen when giorno cured himself of purple haze's virus, create protective lifeforms and more. It hurts more but thats about it. GE isn't eve that slow. Goirno healed himself against baby face in just a few seconds. Its still insanley quick given the results

can he make the antibodies for other people? i thought the only reason he lived through that was because he made that snake or whatever that made the antibodies necessary for him to combat the virus im not sure how that works for different people but i do know Giorno is legit the only person who is immune to the virus at this point i havent read part 5 in a long time tho so im not gonna say your wrong or anything tho

In the video it mentioned that when Giorno restores others, the process is slow and is painful to the recipient of the healing. The question is whether you want a slow process where you need pieces or a quick restoration if something is left.

yeah i know how Giorno heals others i was more kinda questioning the whole purple haze virus like since Giorno made the snake with the antibodies necessary to counter the virus for himself can he do that to other people as well? if so he could theoretically cure some diseases and more importantly makes his Passione members completely immune to Fugo's Stand the only problem with it is its still slow and incredibly painful where as Crazy Diamond can simply "revert" or heal them back to its normal state with no problems whatsoever

Joshu is the best healer Let’s say every bone in your body is broken and Joshu comes close to you Every bone in your body is restored so that you can run from him

Crazy Diamond is basically a matter manipulator since he can restore and sometimes twist things into josuke's will. It is actually showed when Josuke combined Angelo with the rock.

They should be put in each other’s parts and in scenes where healing was needed and see how well they do and if their healing would make it easier or worse

The sheer fact of Josuke’s restoration alone even without healing, makes it one of my favorite stands, and the one id want.

Crazy diamond is limitless but there are some downsides Gold experience is also somewhat limitless Hot pants has limits I don't know about foo fighters From all of them crazy diamond is the best to fix anything and everything but the fact that it brings back the body part is somewhat of a downside and gold experience can just create a new body part

I'm pretty sure you can't erase anything from existence via chemical processes or anything, and that means Josuke can still restore the object. It perhaps may take longer but it'll happen even you divide it to it's atoms.

Pabloinz Rohan didn't even want Josuke to fix his finger after he stabbed himself. It's more Rohan's pride and overall distaste of Josuke why his house didn't get instantly fixed.

Well crazy diamond has some setbacks it only does FIX. not create the missing parts like giorno, but Golden experience needs a object similar to that size to be used to repair the missing part

in my mind, Crazy Diamond is the better healer because even if he has an extremely small part of something like a grain of dust from a rock, he can restore the rock. Plus Crazy Diamond is a lot faster and stronger than GE.
