@@Sylvillian it’s not that he can’t, it’s simple. For dio to freeze there needs to be direct contact so moisture is present, stands don’t have moisture therefore it wouldn’t work. The laser eyes it’s simply that dio was very confident in the power of his stand alone to defeat the Stardust crusaders so there was no need to use it

Stands like Star Platinum and The World have ranges of 2 meters, and if they go beyond that range, there stands weaken and can barely hurt anything; But the thing is, nothing's stopping the stand from just walking out of there range and doing whatever they want. This happens in the first episode, with Star Platinum getting Jotaro food and magazines. So Dio could've very easily just gotten his stand to pick up Polnareff and with it's speed just set him down the stairs, without Dio moving a muscle. Do you understand?

The eye lasers were condensed fluids so if Jonathan's body is actively fighting regeneration than it would be a hindrance

Another reason why Dio didn’t use his vampiric powers is because again, his whole body except his head is Johnathan Joestar. Meaning that it would’ve been harder to use his powers. Because Hamon is essentially sun power

One thing I've always thought about is the relative velocity between a world in stopped time and the stand user who can stop time. Since acceleration is the second derivative of speed to time (d²x/dt²), if time was precisely stopped, dt = 0 and not an infinitesimal variation. This means that the acceleration of the stand user relative to the stopped world would be infinite! The implications are uncanny. Walking in stopped time would mean that every step you take, your feet would hit the ground with infinite force.

Altho Jotaro destroyed literally half his skull, rather than 'just' split it. I'm not a surgeon, but I'd imagine the former is worse than the latter.

It make sense that Dio could move around in zero gravity during his time stop. It doesn't just stop people, it stops everything. That means light, shadow and gravitational forces.

Dapper Parraper he didn’t fly. He was holding on to iggy who was gliding. He only jumped to propel himself. There’s no reason for him to start flying out of nowhere.

Also, with Joesph’s revival: When Dio died his body was lit by a blue flame, I interpret that as that it was Dio’s vampirism that was destroyed, so Joesph’s blood had been purged of evil by that point.

Since vampires cant die from illnesses or failed stand tries he basically had infinite fighting spirit and his goal was to take over the world. So its obvious he got the world

As for the reason why Joseph didn't become a Vampire, most of the blood that he got from Dio was just his own most likely because DIO'S Blood basically got evaporated from the ending punch that Star Platinum hit

theory: dio didnt use his vampire powers in part 3 cuz he didnt took the fight too seriously and was just testing limits of his stand.

The biggest plothole in JoJo is that after learning how to reanimate stopped hearts with his stand that has beyond perfect vision and precision, Jotaro doesn’t decide to be the world’s greatest heart surgeon.

His stand moves incredibly fast, it's slowed down for the viewers to see. At normal pace the stand would be moving faster than we could see, thus those 5 seconds are increased due to the characters being portrayed as slower then they actually are.

Building on the joseph reviving: A tiny detail about Joseph prank (at least in the anime) is that while hermit purple was returning to him you can see the hamon energy rippling around the vines and hear the distinct hamon ring, which means he was using hamon breathing which is likely what eliminated the vampiric essence left over from Dio's blood.

Hamon was really for immortals like the pillar men and the vampires. Since they all had stands which are way stronger than hamon, they didnt see it as essential. It was outdated sadly :((

@@paperluigi6132 Kars obviously. mainly because Dio can't kill Kars, I'm not sure if Kars can get killed. I guess the only thing that could, would be destroying the last of his molecules or else he'll just regenerate. And Kars has a Hamon that's comparable to the heat emitted by the sun.

By the time Johnathan's corpse's grip loosened, Erina was already floating away in the coffin and the only thing Dio could do was to rush into the second coffin with Johnathan's body and tank the explosion with it as he had no time to do anything else.

An explanation for the time stop flying: "Time" in JJBA is a series of updates that can be toyed with by being removed, changed, paused or whatever else Araki can dream up. When time is "stopped" the ability has simply stopped everything around it from updating in things like velocity, position and other forces, meaning the force of gravity cannot update the position of something. The only things that are able to update are the stand user and things they interact with, and so the stand user would simply just not allow their position to be updated by gravity.

I always seemed to think that the reason DIO never froze people or used laser eyes in part three was because of how out of touch he still was with Jonathan‘s body. In order for him to control his blood to the point of freezing people, he had to be in sync with his body, but he just didn’t have that control over Jonathan‘s body yet

The 100% vampire dio is scary but what if in an *ALTERNATE UNIVERSE* Joseph: so you breathe like this and HAMON And Jotaro now has a hamon charged star platinum

Star Platinum's just super-fast, and Dio was so wounded/focused on getting to the manhole to reach Joseph's body and drink his blood that he didn't notice Jotaro beating him there.
