VM11 is indeed the GOAT. And the added advantage is that you can watch those long legs for hours.

I’m never as impressed with Ellen White as everyone else, but I think it’s just that I’m less excited by poachers than the more tactical strikers. I would’ve moved Press up a couple numbers, put Hermoso on the list above her, and dropped White. I like your list, though, and these things are always so subjective.

Pernille Harder must be the Greatest of All Times, because I can't think of anyone else with abilities like hers. But she´s not good enough to be on FIFA´s list of top 15 female Players in 2020. Is it a joke? Pernille Harders scored 38 goals in 2020. 27 in the German Bundesliga mind you, 2 in the Cup final and 9 in the Champions League - this is the best result across all leagues in 2020. She superceeds every other player with her technical skills, pasing skills, scoring skills and phenomenal overview, left foot and right foot. But not good enough for FIFA. What a fucking insult to Pernille Harders name! She is constantly by-passed by FIFA. Why? Maybe its becasue she´s from a small country like Michael Laudrup. He was never recognised either.

@@surgrip59 Yes, I get your point but as someone who has actually been watching all of these players' club teams and following the big international games, there is a huge disparity in the media (because they are entirely biased towards the US and NWSL) as to who the best players in the world are. The Guardian Top 100 players is proof of that - even if they get a lot of the players right, the order of their ranking is just laughable. But overall, you're correcting in saying it is hard to distinguish top players right now, especially without using some stats. My point was simply that stats aren't everything.

@@KZreadsucks12 that's a very depressing comment, The Dutch have won the UEFA women's euro and got second in the damn world cup by penalties and we got that far because, of Miedema and Martens. Also Kerr doesn't even come close to how many Miedema has scored! Sam has scored around 257 goals in her career and Miedema has scored around 344 in her career, not including their youth career.

@@wosocentral i am not saying they should be mentioned in your video.. youve mentioned a lot of talented Women who has done great things in Womens Football, yes Sara DaBritz is a midfielder but she can play left back as she did when she broke through at Bayern Munich and Germany, she can also play striker but Sara has been doing very well so far at Bayern Munich, PSG and Germany, i hope she continues to develop and starts winning things at Club level.. its a extremely hard task she has to do.. stop the rampage of Lyon in France and on the European stage

Very grateful for the time I invested with the females at the University of San Francisco from 2010-2014. I know a few went on the play professionally, but I have no idea where they’re at now. I hope they’re all well and happy.

Sandras BB yeah that’s because only the german women bundesliga was finishes, the wsl for example wasn’t, so you can’t compare them with statistics from the 19/20 season

I dont know if the move to Chelsea was a right move, usually when you change teams - you at least change to the same level or higher.....in order to develop game-wise. I think Pernille will evolve regardless. Lets see what happens.

All of these girls are great. I would've moved Press up for sure. White probably should be higher, too. She's so tough to deal with.

We need smaller goal posts, I mean these ones were made to make it difficult for men to keep balls out at full capacity so of course the women keepers look worse than they actually are

@@alexlogan7559 It isn't enough to warrant much smaller goals if at all, I'm 1.75m and I don't have issues, most of the keepers are taller than me in the womens game, it's the quality of the keepers, go back a fair few decades in the mens game and the keepers were also a bit bad, takes time.

I've come to think of Ada Hegerberg as the supreme striker because of her UWCL exploits, so I expected she'd rank higher. I don't watch much of US league so I can't say much about Press. I'm glad Viv is no. 1 because I really think she has the potential to rule women's football. Unless this list is Judy based on recent performance, I think the ranking is a bit skewed. I wouldn't rank the two Beths so high. And I also have a soft spot for Lieke. Overall, great players on this list, and though I might have placed Hegerberg no. 1, I still see Viv as the 🐐!

I think the number 10 was more exciting to watch. They all shoot well but the Martens sure can hold unto the ball, dribble, change direction, accelerate better with the ball and fashion a one two. Netherland with barcelona.....no suprise there. Harder pernille shoots well too. Madiema has power

First, I'd echo what others have said about any list of this nature being subjective because it inevitably will be. With that being said here are a few of my thoughts on your list... Since 2017 Lieke Martens has been wildly inconsistent for both club and country and hasn't really recaptured that form since. But I will say when she's on, she's one of the best forward players in the world. For me personally, however, I feel that there are others more deserving of a top ten spot right now. Sam Kerr's omission from this list is almost criminal. For the past couple seasons she's been the top scorer for the NWSL and sure she hasn't gotten off to a flying start in the FA WSL but it's a new team and there's always going to be growing pains. But if you've included Ada Hegerberg in this list who missed almost all of 2020 with an ACL injury then I don't think Sam's 2020 form should count too much against her. In terms of American forwards, it's always hard to judge them. I agree with Press even though I do think she should be higher and Heath is probably on the brink of this list if not in it but I understand her not being there. And Megan Rapinoe is hard to put on a list like this because she's hardly played in the past year or so, same with Lloyd. And Alex Morgan has been out due to pregnancy but surely when she's fit and playing she's in the top 5 of a list like this but again she hasn't played much for a while. I have noticed Lynn Williams gets past over for lists like this a lot which I believe is unfair for how productive she is but I can understand it. I wanted to say a quick word about Ellen White as well. For me, she's a much better international striker than a club striker. She seems to really thrive on international stages for whatever reasons, where she largely goes missing during club seasons. As for Eugenie Le Sommer, her age has really been telling on her these past few years and she's far too high on this list for me. Even within her own team, I'd say Amel Majri and Delphine Cascarino have surpassed her. Even her international teammate Marie-Antoinette Katoto may have a case for being better at the moment, even though she's quite unproven on the international stage. I agree that Pernille Harder and Vivianne Miedema are the two top forwards in women's football right now. Even though I believe it's probably Pernille Harder who's slightly stronger. For me, the relationship is closer to 1a - 1b situation. But I must say the most talented forwards in the world are Sam Kerr and Ada Hegerberg when they're healthy, on form, and firing no others are even close.
