Definitely Miedema! She's already this good and still has so much potential. Only reason she's not picking up awards very regularly is that Arsenal is not winning things. And with the change of coach in the national team, she's not firing as much and I don't think their defence is good enough anyway which would affect their chances next year. But she's so damn good! I'm generally impressed by Schuller, Katoto and Kirby. But I'd say the best two attackers this year would be Hermoso and Kerr.

As a Barcelona fan, the fact that Jenni has scored 51 goals, not 47 btw, without being a pure 9 is absolute madness, and I don't discredit that at all. She's magnificient at what she does, but doesn't really catch my attention. It's very true that she doesn't normally fail to score and doesn't need many chances to do so too, which is a big plus. My favourite player and probably the person who least get's recognized in international awards is Hansen. Her ability to get past defences is just mind-blowing, the best in the world, and not just that, she's a pretty complete player, her weakest point I''d say is her actual goalscoring ability, and you wouldn't say so as she's got a tremendous right foot, her crossing is world class, she's pretty good in the air, she's technically and tactically above most of the players and every time she's got the ball you know something is gonna happen. It just seems too easy for her. Lieke Martens is amazing when she's on form, but she's a very inconsistent. She can have really big drops of form and it's happened various times whilst she's been at Barcelona. But this season she's definitely started with a bang scoring 13 goals and assisting 9 in 21 games. I'm starting to like her actual commitment too as she sometimes looked like she was dozing off and lacking attention. Another player who maybe should've been named here is Mariona. I'd describe her as omnipresent versatile, intelligent technically gifted, unique and very hard working. SUCH AN UNDERRATED PLAYER and doesn't get the attention she deserves because there are many other players in the squad. Key player for Barcelona's last season's success. A very good example of what she does is in this game, the Barcelona v Arsenal game on MatchDay 1 this season. Tessa Wullaert stats in 2021: 41 games - 42 goals - 38 assists. MVP in EURO2022 qualifiers with 9 goals and 12 assists, current MVP in WC qualifiers 2023 with 9 goals and 7 assists already. Just saying the stats, that's all 😜. And keep an eye on her at EURO 2022, because it will have been a long time since you've seen a player with that kind of quality again 😉

Miedema wasnt the best forward in 2020 and she wasnt in 2021. Contribution to their teams success: Serious question: What have Arsenal or the Netherlands achieved in the last two years, they wouldnt have achieved without her. She had great Olympics (especially the game vs the US), but the NL would have made it the QF without her too. In all other crucial games the last two years she was not: CL QF vs PSG in 2020, the WSL games this spring, when it was about to qualify for this years CL, she hasnt done much, the FA Cup Final, the Hoffenheim game. Dont get me wrong, she is a great player, but she hasnt been the best forward in 2021 and not in 2020.

Or actually you can mention the Hoffenheim game in England too, I Don't even think you did ever watch that match. Miedema isn't just a prolific goalscorer fys she's an all round player. That match she was very much involved defensively as Arsenal was on the receiving end due to overall poor performance, get a life and speak what exactly happened. Idk why people who criticise Miedema do actually pick matches when the entire Arsenal team was actually poor on that particular day.

@@arohomoses no, that's not what I said. But playing for an underperforming club and an underperforming NT is def a minus compared to forwards who helped their teams to be successful. So Ronaldois def not the no 1 forward in the world for 2021 for me as well (even when his numbers have been good).

Judging by you saying she never showed up, it's either you do consider Miedema has played a match when she's scored or you actually didn't watch the match. It's that simple, great players provide more than goals. Perhaps there's a difference between team performance and individual performance, trophies are as a result of team performance. Idk whoever said trophies should be accountable in determining an outstanding player yet infact there are at times the most outstanding player has not even won a single trophy with their team.

My favourite Is Kerr Love from India.

I really would like to see Lieke Martens and Alex Morgan play together {on the same team} before they retire from the game. Maybe in a World All Stars Game similar to what they have in the NFL. in the States.

As a colour blind fan, I am angry that FIFA has never coordinated with equipment managers about the colour of the kit. I used to be involved with Women's Soccer last century so I'm not someone that puts down their games. But some matches are unwatchable since I can't follow the play. PS Red-Green, pastels are colours to avoid. Very few females are colour blind, but they might lose some spectators. And since many of these games took place in front of limited crowds, they would be aware of the $$, n'est-ce pas?

There are over 1000 championship type female football clubs soccer in the USA there are about 200 such clubs in Europe there are over 20,000 high school female soccer teams and over 40,000Clubs and many many more play soccer sorry Europe you just can’t compare

So many women look so great, score so many goals cause their national teams and club teams hardly ever face real opposition. Only very few games at eye sight are played a year. Group stages in cups and national leagues see rarely a surprising winning team and often results are very high one sided. So everbody goes for his own team and nation. I've seen Bühl, Freigang, Waßmuth, Schüller scoring so many goals this year and midfield is superb as well. How can they ever loose? But they can and will. I don't care who is the best, but at national level Germany has a strong team at the moment, if only others were not as good.
