Listen what he is saying around 3:40-4:15, in the first century they had prophets who would have contact with angelic spirits, who claimed Jesus indeed was not God. That is the spirit of the antichrist, fallen angels. If someone researches the Jehova’s Witnesses translation on John 1 “and the Word was a god” (making Jesus separate from God the Father and a false god) you will find that it came from a German Bible translation by an ex Catholic priest Johannes Greber, who left Catholicism for listening to a boy who was as a medium for a spirit. You can read in Johannes Greber book “Communication with the spirit world of god”, the book is filled with anti Catholic and anti Christian ideas that came supposedly from that spirit. I read that book when I wasn’t sure about my faith, I wasn’t paying attention to the anti Catholic attacks by the spirit because I didn’t care about Catholicism at that time, what I cared was that the spirit was making Jesus less than what He really is. I was trying to find a pattern on certain doctrines and teachings of false churches and this spirit doctrines, one of my findings took me to the Millerite movement of the 1800’s and the follow up churches that came out from that movement. One of them being the Jehova’s Witnesses, and to my surprise most of their doctrines and theology adhere to that spirit teachings on Johannes Greber book. The other 3 churches being the church of christ, the seventh day adventists and the Mormons. JW along with SDA believe Jesus is Michael the Archangel a created being, but the SDA believe Michael was not created, worshipping him as god. That connection made me reject both churches. You can see that spirit in a bigger way in Islam, just see all the terrorist attacks on Catholic churches around the world. The most recent the decapitation of an old lady inside a church if I’m not mistaken in France? Not sure where. The other way we see the spirit of the anti christ is in the LGBT community, and in the Feminist movement with their Pro choice arguments, bringing Canaan back to life with their children sacrifices. ​@@stevei1761In fact, the Bible teaches CLEARLY that the Catholic Church is the antichrist power. Antichrist in the Greek means "in place of." The popes are claimed to be a vicarious Christ on earth who can forgive sins.

@@mafaldomartins572 God is the Most Holy Trinity(Father, Son, the Holy Spirit) and each of the 3 Divine Persons are fully God. They are also inseparable(because they are all of the same essence). So, Jesus is God, as well as the Father and the Holy Spirit. If William meant that the other parts of the Most Holy Trinity were not God, only Jesus, then that would be heretical. I assume though that he means Jesus is God along with the Father and Holy Spirit. God bless.

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." John 1:1-5 " The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14 He is saying that the Father is the only true God, true, but so is the Word (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. The triune God, 3 persons one God.

“They went out from “us” --If the US is the True Church, then Luther could fit the term “antichrist”. The Apostle Paul wrote of the devil having his own “ministers of righteousness (2Cor. 11:13-15) and some departing from the faith believing doctrines of demons (1 Tim 4:1) and Jesus own words of a synagogue of satan among the churches (Rev. 2:9, 3:9) which seems to fit with the parable of the wheat and tares. Satan sending his disciples among the churches (Matt 13:24-30, 14:36-42)

I remember reading that THE anti-Christ will have to be Jewish (for SOME definition of the word,) because many of the Jews will mistake him for the Messiah, and the Messiah must be Jewish (and was, of course.)

Yes, I believe this wholeheartedly. Satan mimics God’s work and will imitate Jesus since Jesus is/was Jewish. The Jewish people are not going to accept some gentile as the messiah. It’s sad, the person they are waiting for is the antichrist.

You did not read that in the Bible. Antichrist is very clearly identified in Daniel 7, Revelation 13, and 2 Thessalonians 2. The Greek means "in place of Christ. " The pope is called " vicarious Christ." Whether the pope is Jewish has no biblical basis whatsoever. What matters is that he neet the scriptural criteria above, which only the papacy can do. The one-man antichrist theory was created by the early Jesuits as a counter reformation to squelch the Reformation discovery that the papacy is antichrist. Look up the origin of dispensationalism and be shocked.

So glad I wasn't the only one who saw a missed opportunity with the paragraph numbers 😂😂.

The Anti-Christ man must come from his own family of Christianity, who SECRETLY turns his back on his faith in Christ (his greatest Apostacy)... just like JUDAS Iscariot who betrayed Christ, and the Apostles were unaware and not able to see the betrayal coming for it comes from their own... That is just a theory. The Antichrist is a political leader, not a religious leader. At most the pope can only be a false prophet. Even then, the Catholic Prophecy teaches us that this false prophet will at most be an antipope and not a valid pope.

So is the concept of one man being "the" antichrist" incorrect? And this person being responsible for the abomination of desolation? This man is correct in that there have been many antichrists and his verses are also true and correct. In 2 Thess. 2:3,4,8,9 he is called the "man of destruction". He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God (the "abomination of desolation" spoken of in Jesus words Matt. 24:15, Mark 13:14). Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring an end by the appearance of His coming. The one coming (THE antichrist) is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders. Daniel 8:11,12: This one will magnify himself to be equal with God. He will remove the regular sacrifices from Him (offered in this 3rd temple) and the place of His sanctuary will be thrown down. (Abomination of Desolation). .... It will fling truth to the ground and perform its will and prosper. Daniel 8:23-25: He will be insolent and skilled in intrigue. He will destroy to an extraordinary degree. (We know this because God affirmed 70 weeks which consist of 70, 7 year periods. 69 have been fulfilled. Then the church age came in, so one more "week" or 7 year period to go. In the middle of the 7 years, THE Antichrist will commit the abomination of desolation. The "blindness" that God put Israel under for their unbelief in Jesus Christ, will be lifted for many and they will flee to the mountains, most like the area known as Petra, and God will care for them as He did in the wilderness during their release from captivity in Egypt. THIS IS WHAT GLOBALISTS ARE DOING RIGHT NOW. A) Setting up One World Government (See: World (Global) Government Summit) B) Setting up One World Economy (See: World (Global) Economic Forum) C) Setting up One World Religion (See: W.A.R.P. World Alliance for Religious Peace) and the Pope is a Globalist also; attempting to bring peace by way of bringing all religions together. D) Under the guise it is all for One World Peace. Also, do not miss "The Giant" like the Nebuchadnezzar statue of Babylon -90 Feet tall, 9 Feet wide (Daniel 3:1) coming to 21 cities across the globe. Interesting because in Rev. 13:15 it speaks of an image of the Antichrist who is given breath. Could this be a foreshadowing of that? Or BE that. Remember John saw a vision of the future and because of his limited understanding at the time could this have been what he saw? As he merely wrote down the description of what he saw through the eyes of someone in his day.

You make some good points, but do you realize you are following dispensationalism, which was created by the Jesuits to hide the pope's identity as Antichrist? The Jesuits criminally removed the 70th week from the 69. The 70th week prophesied MESSIAH, fight on time, yet dispensationalism switches it to antichrist. And all the world wonders after the beast.

Anyone who does not believe that Jesus died to put an end to sin, Jesus died once for ALL is obviously antichrist, against Christ. I 've been thinking that the great delusion in 2 these 2, in KJV, is so misunderstood. We must pay attention to punctuation, which has been removed in many bible versions. I think many will be shocked to find out that they themselves are antichrist, because believing in Jesus is not just believing in our own salvation, but it s believing in salvation for all. It is through great tribulation that we shall enter the kingdom of God. Every knee shall bow. I have heard self proclaimed Christians actually rejoice at the thought of certain people going to hell, even decide who deserves to go to hell, Jesus took Barnabas s place showing us that he saves sinners as we are all sinners or all have sinned, and all sin leads to death. So perhaps the mark of the beast is giving ourselves the right to buy and sell souls as we have no right to this as Jesus already paid the penalty once for ALL, plus Jesus tells us, love your enemies, do not judge do not condemn, be good and merciful to the wicked as God is good and merciful to them as well, just some thoughts to ponder as we all do our best to purify our hearts and love our neighbor as ourselves. "The" antichrist is someone who denies or opposes the idea that the Christ dwells in and is the true self of each individual. The active effort in the world to exalt death; and to delude people into believing that death, or someone, is the only way to eternal life; is an instance of work that is antichrist. Such a thought is opposed to Christ. Jesus came to save humankind from delusionary beliefs and to fulfill in humankind God's perfect will, abundant life. These antichrist thoughts must be persistently denied. The perfect will of God for all humankind is abundant life, not death.

You're using that to confuse yourself and your Audience with "Vicarius Christi" which adds up to 214 not 666, in fact non of the popes official titles such as. Caesar did not match the other 9 characteristics in Daniel 7 and the Revelation. 666 is just one identifier. VICARIUS FILII DEI = 666. That title was mentioned in two issues of Our Sunday Visitor, but conveniently those two issues are now missing from the archives...how convenient. Antichrist was to come AFTER pagan Rome, and take out 3 of the 10 divisions of Rome, which the papacy did, and persecute saints for 1260 years, which it did, as well as speaking pompous words against the Most High, and changing times and laws (Sunday). The man of sin is revealed, showing himself to be God..

He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father, he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also. When the bible was written in the 1st century, the apostle John was talking about those among the children of Israel [the Jews] that denied Jesus was the messiah and the son of God. The majority of the bible is dealing with the children of Israel [seed of Jacob] and about God who wants to save them because of his relationship [friendship] with their forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Then all through the bible we see the children of Israel rebel against God such as worshiping Idols, God kills a lot of them through the OT as shown in books like Exodus and 1 and 2 Kings, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel etc. When you get to the NT they are still in rebellion, and if you went to Jerusalem today in 2022 and stood outside and proclaimed to the crowds of people Jesus is the messiah and son of God, you'd see that rebellion first hand. There are even Jewish men like rabbi Tovia Singer who have a podcast dedicated to trashing Jesus and the new testament. That is the rebellious heart of most of the physical seed of Jacob, still in rebellion.

A lot of good information here, but sorry, one small necessary consideration, Catholicism is not the original church. The original church was comprised of the disciples in Jerusalem, not Rome. The original church was comprised of Jews who followed Christ not the Jewish high priests. The Jewish high priests were religious leadership organizations who did not accept Christ. Please note that Jesus Christ was born, raised, conducted his mission, was crucified, resurrected, ascended to heaven and sent the Holy Spirit during Pentecost (not Easter) *in Jerusalem, Israel*. Information carried by word of mouth to the ends of the populated earth, Rome is part of that result of the great the commission not the origin of the great commission. Peter, if he was even in Rome, was only there briefly according to historical record. Paul himself says that he was writing to and on mission to regions where no one had previously preached. For Peter to refer to Paul as "our beloved brother" and then Paul not mention "Peter as in Rome" would be quite a failing in brotherhood and the cause of Christ. J. Caesar interestingly appointed others from the broader region, beyond Rome or Italy, to call together and make decisions at the Nicene Council. Eventually, many councils voted against papal authority across Europe and the Middle East, which is the Great Schism. What's with "paying for indulgences"? The Catholic Church encouraged or required people to pay money for their dead relatives to get out of "purgatory" early. Well, hell is permanent. Purgatory does not exist in the Bible. Did the Cathollic Church mean get out of earth early, but these people being paid for release were already dead so no longer on earth. How about the Catholic hunt for Martin Luther who was loyal to Catholicism until the pope at the time refused to purify his leadership according to the Bible. What did Luther do? He listed 95 conflicts in the Catholic practices of the day with information in the Bible; then Luther translated the Bible into German which eventually became mass produced for common man. While I recognize there was blood shed from all sides of the Reformation and Catholic Counter Reformation, Catholic popes are fully human, therefore fallible and cannot grant forgiveness on behalf of God...while appointed or dictatorial or a common man. Half the time, popes contradict the Bible which is the Word of God...how is that pursuit of God and obedience? Jesus Christ is The Word of God in the Bible, not the pope. In fact, there is no leadership title or role in the Bible for pope as we know it. Chatting or repenting with a random priest, Catholic or other denomination, is not praying to or acknowledging God directly for forgiveness or relationship with God. It is not turning away from the world to God to learn God's ways. Dawdling with a symbol of Christ on the cross while praying to someone other than Christ and yet, Christ is a risen king is not...I don't even know how to characterize that. Again, some very descent end time Biblical information for the portion reviewd (almost all), but please stop lumping the Pope in with Biblical Christians. Or stating Catholicism as a true religion of Christ with such a "God head or in place of Christ" as the pope. It's about the individual believer's repentance and relationship directly to Christ. Glad there is Bible literacy and discussion!
