There is only one player the public gives a damn about, Clark. No one actually cares about the league itself. If the WNBA shuns her, the "fans" will just shrug and go back to not paying attention.

What can the league do to make you care about the other stars who's better than Clark right now? What is it about Clark that makes you want to watch? It can be logo threes because they have tons of girls that can do that. What is it about Clark?

@@timthetalentthere really is nothing it can do. The quality and style of play is not worth watching. There are only so many bricked layups and missed free throws I can tolerate. Stephan A was correct when he said "nobody cares" about the league. There is better quality of ball to watch. Junior High boys teams are playing on par, if not better ball.

@@timthetalent draining those logo 3s is no small thing, it's a tangible part of the CC game that doesn't explain the intangibles of her massive sensation. it can only be described as CC magic because people are drawn to talk about her, watch her and cheer for her. she goes to Big3, she drags a lot of eyeballs with her.

@roywall8169 I understand. I don't watch every team but the teams I do watch are very talented. I like the fact that they can shoot like Curry but actually have physical post play like the NBA used to back in the day. The women appear to be more fundamentally sound and play more of a team game. They have great shooters too who can hit logo shots. The men's game everything just looks too easy. The NCAA tourney and NBA playoffs are the most exciting things about the men's game because that's when they play hard or the hardest.

CC plays differently than any WNBA player ever. It’s really that simple. ARs game is basic and boring like all wnba players sad to say it. Steph didn’t become hyped for being the ‘best’ player. He just was different from anything we’ve seen.

Whats different about Clark? Other players shoot long threes and throws assists also other players use their off hand scoring when driving to the basket also other players can just pull up for a mid range jumper against a good defender can Clark do that?

Stupid thumbnail nobody’s the face of wnba or the nba ,there’s individual players that are good at what they do ,if you concerntrate on 2 people that’s just demeaning to any other player that’s got the same work ethics.

No one had triple double No one had 17-6-6 avg in wnba history

Natasha cloud is the face of the league and when she's holding the trophy 🏆 and finals mvp at the end will stamp it.

For 27 years, the WNBA has vacillated from stupefying obscurity or abject ridicule. 2 months ago, the entire nation took notice of the league and attendance and interest skyrocketed. CC is not a rising tide, she is a tidal wave who has single-handedly thrust her sport into the national conversation. The logo should be a silhouette of a CC cross-over, stepback 28-ft jumper, going to her left, ponytail flying, as that shot is unique to her and the league. Yes there are women all time greats in the league, but none of them brought a slight fraction of the attention that CC has and it's not even close.
