The part where him and I used to go on long romantic walks at night. I'd brush his hair out of his eyes and he would blush. Then he'd ask me to get on my knees. Though I was confused, I happily obliged. He reached into his pants and whipped it out. I reached out and held onto it tightly. It was small but durable. The iphone 11. He really liked when I filmed those low angles.
Remember too damn well when everyone used to brutally hate on this guy, lack of pop, no style and shit.. - It's a wonderful thing to witness that none of that shit discouraged him

Exactly it’s like people thought he was just trying to be better then everyone else by doing triple flips and tricks like that so they had to find a way to put him down as worse then other skaters. When in actuality he just does crazy ass tricks for fun lmao

Skaters that talk shit on other skaters are just insecure jocks. After skating for 30 years I've watched a lot of tough guy shit talkers put the board down for a bottle just like those high school football stars who peaked in in their teens.

I can probably tell you why, or at least a part of the reason why. The issue with all these crazy and unique flip variations is that it's often hard to make them look smooth and easy, you know, "steezy". They're frequently kinda awkward looking, you know it's super difficult and respect the talent, but skateboarding is very, very style centric, so if it's hard to make something look smooth and stylish it's not going to be as popular. For a lot of skaters, seeing Neen Williams do a gorgeous flat ground heelflip is more exciting than watching a kid on youtube eek out a 360 hardflip late kickflip. It's similar to why photo-realistic paintings aren't always the most popular, they're technically amazing but lack artistic flair and style. I'm not saying this mentality is right or wrong, that's up to you and your personal preference, but it exists nonetheless.

The most amazing part is that he makes those tricks look good. I think alot of the reason those kinds of tricks dont get as much love as they deserve is that their difficulty makes it hard to add style to. He does a great job.

I remember watching all his old instagram clips before he started to blow up, when I would try to show my friends the footage they would usually not want to watch it because of the way he looked but I knew he was a prodigy and kept watching.
Oh wow this was overdue. I admit I didn't like this guys style when I was a kid. I didn't like the lack of pop, how awkward he seemed in interviews etc but now seeing those old rail tricks etc like fakie bigspin to boardslide 270 out I'm like WHAT. In hindsight thats just incredible for someone who hasn't been skating very long. He has a natural handle/control of his board that not many people have, especially the way he does lazer flips and 360 hardflips. Even though they're off 5 foot drops and not popped high, that is hard AND dangerous. Rolled ankles for days hahah. Respect to this guy he really seems to have come out of his shell and keeps progressing, hope he continues being able to do what he loves for a living
Jeffs a great dude with a great mentality and an awesome set of tricks glad to see this Berrics!

Man holy shit ur insanely good. As a kid u were doing really really good tricks style always comes around 17 to 20 yrs old. Major props bro! That dbl flip down 11 stair was PERFECT!
Wow, seeing these old clips is bringing back a lot of memories froM high school. KZread was so innocent back then and fun, just like me.
Following this dude from the start.. im just proud of him :')
For me, there is 2 guys that totally renewed what we understand as skateboarding on the 2010-202x era: Jamie Griffin and Jeff, they both have an incredible creativity and skills, and Jeff is even a way more technical and is crazy how so hard tricks looks so easy for him.
I really have respected your style and your determination your entire skateboarding career very few could push themselves to your point of skill and your style has become something of insanity. You’ve always hands down hand the hardest tricks out there being done I rarely see other pros do the technical and complex work to learn those tricks like 360 hard flips etc consistently in my opinion your one of the best skaters that has ever lived just cause of your consistency with those super difficult tricks your 360 hard flips remind me of jimmy Carlin’s they look really dope
