Been a follower/silent viewer on my alt for awhile but- God your rant about the discourse surrounding lore is REAL I posted my first ever FNaF lore video with a jokey/clickbait title just last week about how Matpat was wrong about something (but clarified it wasn’t an attack in the actual video and was done solely to feature memey art a mutual made of me in front of a projector with “Matpat is wrong” on the screen) and even though 90% of the whole video was me just summarizing things from the books and games and how some things overlapped/connected, not even making any serious claims or outlandish theories, I’ve gotten several comments putting down and even challenging/pushing against some of what I said if not just putting ME down in general. With some even bringing up stories from the next Tales book I’d stated in video to have only read Dittophobia leaks from since it’s not released in the states yet.

Weirdest dialogue is the one where “Helpi” questioningly states that the Cassie was saved by a signal jammer door and “Gregory” answers Helpi as if Helpi spoke allowed.

I vaguely remember something along these lines: The MXES shows up, then disappears. Helpi says something like "I took care of it." and "Gregory" adds "Yeah, with my help."

I am convinced that Mimic dropped the elevator. right at the bottom of the elevator door there's a small power generator that for sure fed the elevator puller. all the Mimic had to do was cutting the generator wires and the elevator would fall down.

@Gogetablue44 you're seriously forgetting that the concrete is busted, there is also a SECOND elevator the mimic can escape from. Plus, it's probably smart enough to know that Cassie might still survive. It pretends to be Gregory so that Cass thinks that the person who can keep her safe from the mimic betrayed her instead.

"Who is Helpi?" Just a lil guy is the universally correct answer

One thing I wanna mention about the Brazil ending is that it’s entirely possible that Cassie died and is living a “fake afterlife” of sorts in the Vanny mask. In one of the Tales from the Pizzaplex stories, Under Construction, a girl named Maya sneaks into an unfinished VR booth and ends up having the VR booth simulate her life for over a year. In another story, Cleithrophobia, It’s shown the VR booth is smoking, so it’s likely something went catastrophically wrong and killed Maya in the VR. Maya even tries to die in the simulation, but can’t. A similar thing could have happened to Cassie in the Brazil ending, She puts on the Vanny Mask, Mimic kills her, and the mask simulates what should be her life from that point on, with Gregory free and happy. This doesn’t really account for the panicked breathing though. Just something to think about.

Another point towards the hacked Helpi being separate from the Mimic is when Helpi defeats MXES in the catwalks they say that they took care of them, which causes Mimic as Gregory to say “yeah with MY help”

I'm on Team Mimic Did It but I won't completely ignore the idea that Gregory could've done it. He's been shown to be a by any means necessary type of person and after learning about what really happened to Vanessa, he'd take that attitude up again. If he had to choose between saving one person and saving many people, including himself? Yeah. Not to mention that FNAF always has to have an element of tragedy to it. Having Gregory kill one of his few friends, kill Cassie who showed him so much loyalty because of just how they met in the first place is pretty damned tragic. I think Steel Wool is waiting on the fandom's overall reaction to decide what to do next with Cassie's fate. They used the fandom's reaction to help put together Ruin so it makes sense that they'd do it again.

I hadn't thought about Glamrock Freddy being downloaded into a Helpy bot toy but that makes a lot of sense. Laying hints on how Glamrock Freddy will be showing up in the future is a much better explanation for why the Brazil ending exists than any other I've heard. His lightning bolt tie being very similar to the lightning bolt on Freddy's chest add further weight to the theory. Also the thought is adorable lol. I really hope that's the way they go!

I also believe that Gregory was never at the pizzaplex and never contacted Cassie. c'mon, how did he know which way Cassie was running when he wasn't at the pizzaplex? and how did he know that the Mimic was "directly behind her", when there are no cameras down there? how could he tell??? no, guys and girls, Gregory was never talking to Cassie. he tried to, but he was quickly cut off by Mimic.

I've been thinking about this for a while and I feel that here and know is a good time to say it. Because the princess quest ending seems to be the one thats hinted at being the actual canon ending, that means that Gregory would have never went down that elevator in the burntrap ending in the first place. Which means it was no ones fault the elevator dropped. If you recall, Freddy said that the elevator looks to only be capable of making one trip down, and if Gregory never used the elevator that means when Cassie went down the first time, that was it, she used her one trip.

that was a diffrent elivator. cassie takes that one right after rebooting roxy. the elevator at the end of the mimic chase has no explanation for why it's there, it just is.

@@higueraft571 yeah, I mean the Faz wrench pannle looks too new compared to the rest of the building. and if those are the controls the mimic ends up using to drop the elevator, then we have to take a closer look at them. the faz wrench pannels just kinda spawn in between the base game and Ruin and given that Cassie's dad used the wrench it was around before Ruin, and given the state of the bots we know they were installed before the place was in ruins unless they decided to install a bunch of pannles before attempting to fix the ots

My guess for why theorizing has gotten so rotten could be because of how confusing the story has gotten, then when someone finally has an idea people like, and someone else has another idea, they don’t wanna hear it because that means they’ll have to rethink everything again. I also think it could just be people taking the story more seriously than they used to. Back when all we needed to figure out was who murdered some children and when he did it. Now it’s us trying to figure out stuff like how this world works, when certain restaurants opened and closed, character’s personal issues, and still having to figure out which characters are which, but having it be a lot less clear, and a lot more confusing and contrived.

Ironically I only noticed Helpi's change of appearance through the game and then later noticed the changes of personality lol. Also Helpi being a real-ish thing in the Pizzaplex and in the mask makes me wonder more about his existence in pizza sim and UCN. I always just thought he was a hallucination or representation of Micheal, but now I’m not so sure. Great video, I definitely agree Mimic seems to be pulling some strings with Helpi

Oh yeah, I immediately didn't trust Helpi when the eyes and cracks changed on the model, lol, I didn't think it was two separate entities, I just thought Helpi in general was infected with a virus that was going to be a problem. 'Cause you know, Vanny mask.

The Grimic truly believes it is Gregory. It's not actively trying to deceive Cassie, and that's what is so creepy about it. If it was aware of its own nature, I doubt it would've made such a shoddy "Gregory" costume believing that would fool anyone.

i love the idea that gregory and vanessa put glamrock freddy into a helpy, his personality fits so much better in a 2 foot tall teddy bear

One thing I noticed that I'm not sure anyone else has pointed out is that in the "Brazil" ending, the balloon behind Helpy is orange. It lines up with his counterpart misleading the player while his "real" counterpart still has blue eyes in his actual character in that ending

From what I can guess, Yellow eyed Helpi seems to be a Mimic software attached to the original Helpi software, but partially separated from the physical Mimic. So it kind of has its own mind despite gaslighting for the same goals, so it can argue with the physical Mimic as it's own being while kind of being attached by a base code. Sort of like the Glamrock except probably less unique overall.

Yeah, it was definitely the Mimic who dropped the elevator. Gregory dropping the elevator is just plain stupid, defies all logic, and is just out of character for him to do that. Gregory is good friends with Cassie and was there to comfort her at her birthday party. And he also helped Cassie escape from the Mimic. So why would he all of a sudden change his mind and just drop the elevator on her? Plus, he literally said he wasn’t at the Pizzaplex. So yes, I do think that it was the Mimic who dropped the Elevator.

Well. If Gregory was GGY when He decided to "make friends" with Cassie, then the Mimic/Glitchtrap was the one who made friends with her in the first place. GGY was making friends with Cassie to brainwash her to be another Role in the FNAF indie developer story they were downloaded with.

Gregory and Vanny didn’t even know each other for one, and Gregory didn’t even know who Bruntrap was. If Gregory was working for Glitchtrap, then why did he try to kill Gregory as Burntrap? And why did Gregory trap him under the Pizzaplex? (If Gregory and Venessa are indeed the ones who created the entity to stop the Mimic from escaping.) This still doesn’t make any sense. Cause again, he was helping her escape the Mimic, so why would he change his mind all of a sudden? And he still wasn’t at the Pizzaplex. Yeah, sorry but I’m still convinced that it was the Mimic who dropped the elevator. Guess we’ll have to wait and see until the next game comes out.

Vanessa is the one who sends Gregory to the first of Patient 46 and her tapes. Which means on some level, she knows him. Second. Gregory is brainwashed by the Storyteller, which means GGY/Glitchtrap probably blocked out the knowledge after the Glitch at the beginning of Security Breach. So, Gregory is GGY until the beginning of the base game. Gregory dropped the Elevator to bait the Mimic away so The Mimic wouldn't try to turn him back into GGY. The Mimic will go down inside of the shaft instead of up now, to get Cassie, their injured victim. And we don't know for sure Gregory isn't nearby. And finally, the VANNI network implants you with a wireless device in your brain which allows the Mimic to hear and track you. Gregory has one because he was GGY. Which means if the MIMIC or it's software gets near Gregory, They can literally hack his brain.

the alternate version of gregory’s voice line in the elevator the “make sure it doesn’t follow you” one being changed to the current evil gregory version makes me assume it’s the mimic who dropped the elevator. from a meta stance it makes more sense for a gregory line to be changed to a grimic line than for the whole ending to be changed to the elevator dropping. i think that the original gregory line was going to be followed by the mimic dropping the elevator but gregory’s line was changed to being a grimic line to add more mystery. anyway i would love a video about the reasoning for the VANNI mask existing? or just if anyone has any thoughts on it bc it confuses meeeee like if this was legit for technicians why did it look like vanny? did the vanny mask originate from being a faz ent technician mask? was the mask created in the likeness of vanny on purpose for some reason? or is it just some weird tech the mimic and vanny made to trick cassie? so many questions

Re: Mimic co-conspirator, I feel like a likely candidate for this character role would be the Blob/Tangle. They were near the Mimic's area in the basegame, and are near the place where Cassie finds the Roxie Talkie in Ruin. Similar to Helpi, they are also a Funtime Freddy derived characters, and so it would kind of make sense for them to overtake Helpi. Not sure why they wouldn't just break the Mimic out, considering they might just be the physically second strongest character currently around, but I guess their partnership might be based on mimic-takeover and the mimic might not trust its own abilities enough to risk being in a room with them (which seems sensible given how easy it was to knock Freddy and Vanessa "out of it"). Alternatively, depending on how much the mimic is into not breaking keyfabe (which appears to be 'very') mimic might have already been starting to copy Gregory, and Gregory wouldn't go near the Blob, because the Blob is a living monument to heavy machinery related fetal workplace incidents. This would also sort of explain why it keeps roasting the mimic, as if it has any amount of sapience it must probably have recognized that the mimic is a bit of a goofy goober and gotten tired of its overly convoluted ideas, and could be how the strange teleportation nonsense happens, as the Blob is filled with magic pain juice. Furthermore, this adds the rather funny possibility that when Helpi says "I did this and that to the Antivirus", Tangle was just slinking into some random place and aggressively typing away at a physical keyboard. Ultimately, I am not sure if this is true whatsoever, but it fits well enough to me, so I'll keep it as a headcanon until one of the sequels refutes it.

Here's another idea: What if it's Burntrap? We dont quite *see* him in Ruin, but we know he isnt where he used to be. POSSIBLY inside the Blob (we never see it's full body), but there's a non-zero chance he's still separate since Burntrap Ending never occurred... I'm not sure, but it's possible they COULD have struck a deal when Vanny was putting him back together, answers/aid for his Freedom from the Enragement Child and UCN? I'm definitely suspecting that Glitchtrap is what freed him, doing something similar to what it did with Vanessa/Greggory. Get into their minds, screw around a lil bit...

I’m really hoping they make plushies of the SB version of Helpy at some point. I’d love one!

Honestly I didn’t really think about Helpy’s/G Fred’s ice cream cone too hard cause it just looked like sherbet to me lol. I would’ve never thought of the new body idea! I do think the Brazil ending was partially Cassie diving into her own head and Mimic messing with her though. I also liked RyeToast’s theory that it represents Cassie getting turned into an Afton puppet like GGY and Vanny but that doesn’t really make sense cause of the aforementioned about to be ripped apart thing but it’s a neat idea

Idk how Gregory would’ve been able to drop the elevator if he wasn’t at the pizzaplex like I doubt he had some remote control that still has access to the place to be able to drop an elevator vs the mimic where the battery we just charged up is where the mimic was standing. The mimic program (glitchtrap) reuniting with its physical self was really interesting how they combated when wanting to take the credit to momentarily banishing MXES. Poor Cassie has the virus implanted in her since that’s what the virus did in the beginning of the game the moment we got the mask. I think the only way of officially defeating the virus is to destroy the mask since it’s locked out the pizzaplex system.

@@erickamakeeaina1649 I was gonna discredit you cause I was like how would he hack from who knows where but I forget that for some ppl for the staff bot moment where it jumps out some ppl it has Gregory trying to communicate to Cassie through the staffbot. I’d still like to think the mimic was the one to do it since it was right next to the battery we charged up and it could’ve just ripped it out to be able to kill Cassie but it could’ve also been Gregory too so it’s still a 50/50.

8:27: "But how?" sums up 80% of my FNAF lore rants. Jokes aside, I like the idea of Mimic having someone helping him on the outside. It would make Help Wanted significant if Mimic-as-Malhare did manage to influence someone who actually *accomplished* something plot-significant, unlike poor Vanessa. Still a bit salty most of her cool hacker moments were given to Gregory.

I'm more leaning toward The Mimic being the one who dropped the elevator, But It could still be either one of them who did it, I really hope we get another part for this maybe after Help Wanted 2 to continue this and find out.

Okay, the idea of Freddy being put into Helpy makes me unbelievably happy. That's adorable

Fun fact: in an interview with Dawko, Kellen Goff (Freddy's voice actor) expressed an interest in voicing Helpy in the future. So who knows. That might actually wind up being a thing.

I feel like the reason that theorizing has become such a toxic waste land at times is because of just how vague the story of FNAF has become (likely intentionally). In the earlier days of FNAF there were mysteries but it was still grounded in many known facts, so the theories really just filled in gaps rather than telling the full story for the game. However now we know so little for sure that every theory in a way feels like a different story to tell, so people tell the story that they think works best and don't really want to hear another version. Additionally, I've noticed a trend of going back into the 1-6 era of the story and theorizing about things that change that part of the story which will anger people who already like the original story. Another is also there's a category of theories now that just don't matter, like who killed Bonnie. It does nothing to know so who cares? Who is the CEO of Fazbear now? Well all we need to know for the story is what they do so that doesn't really matter either. This means that there is more room for head canons which get people VERY upset if that is challenged. And to go off of that with my final point is that many theories now deal with characters that have personalities, so if something happens to them it becomes a war between people who love and people who hate the character (*COUGH* if Monty murdered Bonnie *COUGH*). So yeah that's my analysis on what theorizing has become way less fun

8:10 Actually there is some environmental storytelling that Gregory risked his life to trap the mimic so in the basement room there's Gregory's backpack and the mimic has a glam-rock Freddy walkie-talkie and where is the backpack find next to a ventilation system is connected to the other room so what happened is Gregory trick the mimic on going into the other room while Vanessa seals it up of concrete and drops the walkie-talkie in the room he escaped through the ventilation system barely unscathed while the whole ventilation system Came Crashing Down if you look down towards the vent there's claw-marks

I always found the idea of Gregory dropping the lift weird and strange. Maybe it's just I really like Gregory, idk. But I do remember watching Dawko's playthrough and finding the overlapping 'Gregory' lines odd, especially as it wasn't in the rest of the game. I mean, I could literally just be trying to see the best in ol' Greg, but I'm very much on team 'Mimic Did It' and Gregory was waiting at the top for Cassie so he and Vanessa could look after her while her dad's away

I find it kinda funny that if Helpi is partly the mimic, that he was just gaslighting this poor girl. It’s just funny thinking about it. 😂 But on the elevator, I definitely think it was the mimic. I think it’s more likely he dropped it instead of Gregory who is said he wasn’t there lol. Also it’d be pretty weird and pointless for Greg to drop the elevator when the mimic can get out regardless. But just saying lol. 👀 You can be right that helpy ends here in RUIN but, your idea for Freddy being to inhabit a irl Helpy is really cool. And not something I would mind tbh.

agreed. Besides, even if the elevator was the only way for the mimic to get out, Gregory could let have Cassie up and then drop it. It's not like the mimic was already on the elevator.

*Exactly.* With the Two main reasons why dropping the Elevator _would not help Gregory_ *or* _the Mimic in any way_ Established, we can determine that *this was Indeed an Intentional Attempt to Murder Cassie...* Which leaves _One Primary Suspect:_ someone *who still has partial access* to the workings of the Pizzaplex, can Hack its way into it all, might be afraid of the Mimic coming after Him to 'Finish the Job', and might have a Motive if _Cassie began getting more of Gregory's Attention than He was..._ ...And if _the Extra Ending_ is hinting at anything, *Glamrock Freddy* may not be who we think He is...

I think the details of the Brazil ending can still be interesting. The ending of Brazil showed someone breaking from reality and getting an absurdly schmaltzy happy ending... so what we see in the Brazil ending is, in theory, something that Cassie would consider to be a happy ending. So while I don't think the ending is real, I think every element of it is probably something that Cassie knows and feels very comfortable with. So that might mean that, as well as having met Gregory, she's also met Vanessa and Frelpy (yes, I'm going with that).

Man, about the theorizing bit… I feel that so much. It’s literally impossible to attempt to have a nice, calm discussion with most theorists these days without it delving into a screaming/insulting match. Unless you’re a BNF you’ve no real way to change their views, and if your takes are slightly different than others you’ll just be cast aside and ignored ‘cause you’re “just that one person who says a lot of stupid stuff and therefore shouldn’t be listened to”. I swear, it’s so sad. Like, yeah, the early days weren’t so different, but they were so much better than the current theorizing landscape. The lore we have now doesn’t help either. Anyway, rant over. The stuff with the double speech and the grimmick changing to gregory makes me so confused as on one hand steel wall has been shown in this game to be way more competant in this game and so these bugs that are similar to sb could be a clue but on the other hand they still are the guys who made sb and this could also be easilly a fuck up during the presumed rush to finish the dlc.

What do we all think of when Gregory and Helpi argue? I don’t remember which eyes Helpi had at the time, but if it’s yellow then does that mean that Mimic was just arguing with itself as a show for Cassie?

Ahh, nitpicking and arguing about speculations, the bread and butter of theorizing... Great vid as always, never thought about that "accomplice" idea but it is a pretty nice idea, yeah And Glamrock Freddy getting a Helpi body after SB too, pretty cool idea!

you know a random thing i wonder about testing: Helpi and glamrock bonnie. I'd be curious to know if when you deactivate every wet floor bot and got see glamrock bonnie with disabled eyes instead of yellow eyes, if it might make yellow eye helpi stop appearing. since we almost for sure know that MXES is a security system that is running off of bonnie's code, trying to stop Cassie and protect the holding place of The Mimic, then what if Helpi is a less aggressive tool that MXES/Bonnie could be also trying to use in tandem, it meshes well with the fact Helpi never directly addresses there is a threat unless it's immediately threatening to himself and how Greggory can supposedly help helpi by updating the code, as he could possibly be at the MXES secutiy computer at that time. (Gregory actually could have been in the pizza plex until the very end?) this isn't a new thing where things pretend to be friends in this series, as well as helpi/ helpy, or hand unit almost never directly address any real threats, even Freddy has a hard time doing so at first. the other thing that's weird is the way you acquire the vanni mask, it's given a by a mask/map bot who also has ears, and he seems perfectly poised to give it to you, a set up from the start...intresting

I've always leaned towards the Gregory dropping the elevator idea. Some people say it would be cruel or out of character for him. Since he isn't under anyone's control like he was in GGY. But I personally think Gregory(despite all of the cuts that happened in game) shows that while he is still caring, he's also able to lie and manipulate to get the outcome he wants. Despite thinking that Freddy is his friend, he blatantly lies about harming people he considers to be his friends to his face and then brushes it off as unimportant. Now, do I think that Gregory is wrong for doing this? No. They are attempting to harm him and destroying them prevents them from harming him. However, Freddy also states that there's something unusual going on and that they don't normally act like this. Implying to Gregory that they could possibly be under thr control of something or experiencing some kind of glitch that alters their personality. Despite that, Gregory kinda just brushes past it and says they're "getting what they deserve". A lot of fanon interpretations seem to be based on two extremes. That Gregory is a sunny cinnamon roll who could literally do nothing wrong or that he's a heartless, manipulative person who does whatever he has to do to survive. I don't think either extreme is who Gregory is. I think he cares about people and genuinely wants to help out where he thinks he can(like when he doesn't want to leave because it will mean more kids might go missing). But I also think that there are some darker elements to his character and moments where he puts himself first and is open to lying or manipulation to get what he wants. He's not a sunshine cinnamon roll. But he's not a monster either. He has layers. And I hope they do more with him. Especially since Cassie thinks he(or he may actually have) betrayed her and Roxy(or the Mimic) is now stuck down there with her. There are many ways this plotline could go.

You do have good points, And I still think it could very well be either one of them who dropped it, But I guess we'll see what happens, I also really hope Roxy is still alive and she reunites with Cassie, I really want to see more of their relationship, But like you said there are many ways it could go.

Exactly I hope it was Gregory as I would also cause the story to have a beat continuation as vanny teams up with the mimic for revenge and if a future game is that carnival place I just hope it’s a theme park and all old animatronics are there but Cassie and the mimic have the animatronics there to tear the place down and hunt Gregory but now making them do it by force but have it be due to friendship. Also I maybe would add Cassie dad being down there from the matpat theory as it makes sense for him to be the kid in the Bonnie mask in fnaf 4 and then the whole technician route he went down due to the bite of 83. But Cassie her dad the mimic and other animatronics from the pizzaplex team up to get revenge and try to ruin the name of fazbear entertainment and free the animatronics and let them live human lives. Also I like the idea of Gregory being a bit of a duck adding some character

While I agree that Gregory definitely has the capability to do some things that are outlandish, I don’t think he had an actual reason to drop Cassie down the elevator shaft, thus I don’t think he did it. Why would Gregory willingly betray and hurt (and potentially kill) his best friend when she was about to escape the Mimic, just because there’s a CHANCE the Mimic will follow her out? Gregory obviously has proven he can decommission other animatronics. With the help of Vanessa, even if Mimic managed to get out the same way Cassie would’ve if she didn’t get dropped, I would think they would be able to stop him pretty easily. And I think Gregory would’ve realized that. Plus, everyone completely ignores the fact that Gregory isn’t in the Pizzaplex, at all. So how would he have even made the elevator fall? Not trying to be passive aggressive, but I don’t think Gregory learned magic after he escaped in Security Breach that lets him teleport into the Pizza Plex and all the way down to where Cassie and The Mimic were to cut the cables holding the elevator up, lmao.

I know it’s been said quite a few times but, I think Steel Wool made it equally possible for Gregory or the mimic to have dropped the elevator. I think they’re waiting to see which option the community responds to better. Then they’ll reveal in the next game who really did it.

That last part when you mentioned Freddy's voice coming out of basically a child version of him threw me off lmfaooo 😂😂😂😂

I think that the Mimic having a walkie talkiemakes sense, there is a blocked AC tube that connects to Mimic's room and has a human handprint on it alongside a Glamrock Freddy backpack. I think this is telling us that Gregory played bait for the Mimic to give Vannessa time to set up the concrete wall and MXES, then blocked the tube he just forgot his walkie talkie inside

see now i believe that the mimic did in fact cut the elevator but i don’t believe that it was able to obtain cassie. i believe that roxy may have came back and pushed the mimic into the elevator shaft as it was coming down hence why we hear her says “cassie?” at the very end. i don’t believe gregory would cut the elevator to prevent the mimic from escaping cause of that was the case there would have been no need to create the M.X.E.S. security protocol if all it took to keep it down there was to make an elevator inaccessible. gregory and vanessa are extremely smart and could have definitely came up with a plan to keep the mimic from escaping without leaving cassie behind. if you think about it why would gregory go through the trouble of going to the superplex and explaining the situation just to leave her to die?

I swear mimic is body switching. The more and more I look at the connections in the books to the games the more I am convinced that Gregory got trapped inside the mimic like Alec and the lonely freddy. They made it a point again and again in Fazbear Frights that body switching with an animatronic is not only possible but probable. Tales from the pizzaplex has focused on the manipulation of perception (like the Vanni mask and the tiger rock story) which definitely shows up in ruin. The books obviously have an effect on the games if mimic exists at all within ruin and the frights and tales books make it very clear. I think Gregory never made it out of the sinkhole.

Just adding a thought. Paitent 46 also might never have been Gregory to start with. Just being Gregory's body would explain the vast difference in behavior between security breach Gregory and paitent 46.

DUDE, I literally went over this with my friend on day one. I genuinely believe Helpi is more than meets the eye - with his chronic glitches, they look similar to the corruption Afton manifests, and while you could say; ‘well it may just be because the whole Plex is under disarray after Afton’s reign & his AI is probably still littered with some malware’ I like to believe Helpi could be him manifested as another chance at life - as we never see him die in the ending, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he transported to the virtual realm again(as it’s what he’s known for, 4th times the charm ig). Even if that’s just a little theory, it adds more to his funky little character. I’m glad we got to see more of Helpi this time ‘round.

Oh I love the idea that the Helpy in that ending is an animatronic that they ported Freddy into. There basically aren't any happy endings in FNAF, and it'd be such a sweet way for them to stay together!

I think The Mimic's acomplice is Glitchtrap. Probably took control of a staff bot (such as mask bot) to help mimic get the walkie talkie, as well as planting one at the entrance.

Ngl still to this day I’m surprised helpy was given this much to do in security breach and especially ruin. I mean like it’s not THAT much but I thought after pizzeria sim he’d just be a one-off cameo at best as like art on a wall in future games. I think the Brazil ending is trying to show us that the helpi AI has assimilated Vanessa and Gregory. It probably happened in a similar way to what Cassy is experiencing since its through the Vanny mask. Thats to say Vanny went through the same process during Security Breach that Cassidy is going through now. Maybe this could explain why Vanessa always caused visual glitches in SB - kinda like the AR shenanigans in Ruin.

I think that Gregory most likely did drop the elevator as evidence against it people use is asking “How can he drop the elevator from afar?” But to me that’s not valid I mean he could somehow get another walkie talkie connected but not able to connect to the elevator. Additionally I don’t think they have that much range, I mean the Roxy talkie is bugging out a lot while playing probably due to the distance from the surface level to the underground. So it only makes sense for Gregory to be close to the elevator and all as when he’s talking it’s very clear. Additionally I don’t think mimic would be able to use the elevator speakers due to not using the pa speakers in the pizzaplex or any time earlier. Before anyone mentions the security system stopping him he would of had time from its deactivation and Cassie getting in the elevator to cut it down. Points about the power box also don’t make sense as he would of unplugged it to make it fall and have him climb up the wall or wires. Finally why would there even be access to cut the elevator wires from the area of the prisoner? It would obviously be on the outside of the containment area as if they somehow get in it you cut the wire traping them.

But they're already outside the containment area, as the tunnels were broken into by the forklift. Plus, Mimic was able to hijack Helpi AND whatever he used to contact Cassie on the outside.

Thing is..the elevator is connected to this battery pack(?) that's near it. It seems likely that it's a very old elevator that can operate due to the battery next to it. I just see it being very unlikely Gregory somehow made it go down. Especially since he says he's not even at the pizzaplex.

Also I feel like he would of dropped the elevator right away to kill Cassie. Also my head cannon now is just that the forklift created a hole to a dead end but the room was where communication and electrical wires were held or at least was able to let him hook up into the security system a little and contact Cassie. It could even be some old nuclear fallout shelter with the Jenga tower the pizzaplex is built on. Maybe that gave the mimic access to the outside world?

@@RipplyAnemone67 There's also the problem of "WHY would Greggory drop it and kill Cassie?" His actions wouldnt make sense. Yet for the Mimic...? It makes perfect sense. Cassie's going to escape, she's going to get help and bring Hell down on it. It CANT let that happen. And if she, despite the odds, survives? Best to make sure she cant trust that help. Force the help to come down there with her, then it can grab BOTH of them at once... And if it wants to escape? It has at least *three* possible methods: - Go back, use the Elevator Car Cassie came from. - Pry open the door, get through the smashed elevator, climb up the shaft. - Go back, get into the elevator's shaft, and climb up. What Greggory did: - Kills Cassie, a potential ally against the Mimic. - Merely slows the Mimic for a few minutes more, it WILL still escape. - Throws away a good chance to possibly kill or damage the Mimic further, not allowing *it* to get in the Elevator and get pancaked instead of Cassie.

Finally we don’t know what Gregory might of done before dropping it or what he will do to prevent the mimic from escaping

They should 100% make a Helpi Robot that says "Good Morning Super Star" And you program it to remind you stuff.

You know, when you brought up if the Mimic had an accomplice, my mind went to Maskbot. He shoves it into Cassie's face, insisting that she takes this specific mask before shutting down. That was VITAL for the success of the Mimic's plan, this act of leaving something the Mimic would need to manipulate Cassie. If not one, why not another?

I really like the theory with Helpy and Glamrock Freddy! It makes sense, and I was always confused why Helpy was there and not GR Freddy’s head

I like that take on the Brazil ending! Then again I like most theories. People picking out tiny clues and putting together a cohesive narrative is endlessly entertaining to me. I don’t even that most theories contradict each other, they’re all cool!

What if Helpi is an accomplice because he is being controlled by Vanessa? After all, she was the technician who designed him, so maybe she could manually override Helpi? Vanessa was being mind controlled and influenced by Glitchtrap ultimately.

I kinda like the theory that Glamrock Fredy's consciousness was transferred from his head to a mini Helpy, hence the ice cream colors so he can have a body again

I like to believe that Helpi the liar is glitchtrap and Grimic is obviously the regular Mimic. I believe that the two are separate because in some scenes they seem to argue and bicker like they aren’t perfect aligned. It makes sense that if Glitchtrap is alive (which makes sense since he is a virus, he likely has other hosts both in hardware and people) then he would want the mimic free. One reason he could want to release mimic is because the mimic may be his intended next host or maybe the mimic could be a sort of smokescreen to disguise his presence. I also really like the idea of these two teaming up and I hope this is the way they go.

Oh my golly gosh, I love this! I had already made up my mind that yellow eyed Helpy was Mimic while Helpi was an AI assistant that Glamrock Freddy was helping Gregory hack into the Pizzaria through like a backdoor. But the idea they actually uploaded GlamFred into Funsized Freddy is sublime and my day is made. There are the fans and the mob. Always has been, always will be. They bully, slander, cannibalize, gatekeep, and repeat. Until they mature and realize their own folly they cannot change. Many are 12-16 year olds that think they are God's gift to the internet because they get the best grades in their class. Leave it be and do your thing. Hopefully they will grow up, and you will find a very supportive niche- which you already are! That you have such a kind crowd of followers in this fanbase is quite a feat and reflects on your character. Oh man, I didn't even realize that after the static Gregory finished what he was saying on the speaker. I've seen multiple people mention the static as a reason it might've been the mimic, but changing where his voice was coming from is way more convincing.

3:02 It's kind of ironic you mention that, given Helpy's original design _is_ as a smaller Funtime Freddy. He has the same cheek marks present mainly on the Toys and Funtimes, he has the same white base and purple accents, the same blue eyes, even a similarly playful attitude. He just doesn't have the means nor the mentality of murder that Funtime Freddy had. It's always been an interesting little detail, that he sort of feels like a non-threatening Funtime Freddy, bringing back a fan favorite for a few extra points. Also, I never noticed those were cracks on the alternate Helpi's face. I always just figured they were veins, or possibly wires feeding out of him.

There's also a blocked vent that connects to the room outside of the sealed room, but it's been backfilled. And Gregory's backpack is right there in front of that vent, too.

I played through Ruin twice and never realized Helpi's eyes turned yellow when his dialogue changes. HOW DID I NEVER SEE THIS!?

i don’t think Helpy’s ice cream being similar coloring to Glamrock Freddy is intentional. It’s orange and blue sure, but there’s also green, which isn’t anywhere on Freddy. Not to mention the lack of red, and the fact that the shapes aren’t lightning bolts at all. Pretty sure it’s just rainbow sherbet. Super popular flavor, matches the visuals, and is a simpler answer overall.

Im glad we both have the same idea that glamrock freddy is maybe a helpy now since I've been thinking that for months since a couple days after the dlc or weeks since it's just so weird to include a random totally new helpy model for seemingly no reason with no explanation

i have to agree with you about Glamrock Freddy and Brazil Helpy, it was my first thought on seeing that ending and wraps up some of the smaller threads from the Princess Quest ending nicely plus with the books and Special Delivery we know that Vanessa and Gregory have the technical knowhow to build a small but capable housing for the remains in Freddy's head without losing anything. hell, maybe they could even get more data from before he booted into safe mode into his memories if the theory about him and Gregory having even more of a shared past is true

Yeahhhh I felt that last rant at the end. Its why I pretty much exclusively only share theories or speculate with small groups of people because it can be exhausting. It sadly isn’t even exclusive to fnaf either. Its like there are two groups of people who enjoy speculating. The types who enjoy the process of noticing patterns and thinking about things. And the others who just want it solved for the sake of being solved and get territorial when its threatened.

So what's implied is that Freddie's component's have been put into another body. I mean maybe but to me this alternatie ending feeds into the mimic being a fully rogue AI with it's own opinions and methods of acquiring its prey. Its luring people, its integrated into multiple machines, it understands the concept of trickery and manipulation, it can make illusions in vr to mess with people's emotions. Which means It can improvise. Not Everybody can improvise well, I in fact suck at improv.

Helpi is my boy

I was re-reading Fazbear Frights #4, and I noticed that the story Dance With Me has very similar elements from Ruin. The story is about a theft named Kasey who steals glasses that shows a hologram of Balloda when you put it on. However, you can still see the hologram when you take it off. This is literally the same from Ruin: Someone puts on a mask to find an AR character in it, only for that character to stay in the protagonist’s vision when you take the glasses off. Also, the name Kasey and Cassie are very similar.

every game, dialogue, character and little detail answers questions but brings thousands of more.

there's one thing that all grand youtube theorists keep overlooking, but some viewers just pointed out: there are TWO elevators. the one Cassie used to get down to the underground lair and the one that Mimic destroys. knowing that, shouldn't we wonder the following: WHY DID GREGORY NOT LEAD CASSIE BACK TO "HER" ELEVATOR??? WHY DID HE LEAD HER TO THE WRONG ONE??? and I think the answer is clear: because it wasn't Gregory from the beginning. IF it had been Gregory, he had known the layout of the underground lairs und could have easily lead Cassie back to her elevator while making the Mimic losing track of her.

I wish that Cassie had a conversation with Helpi. The final one would be "Helpi... STOP HELPING!"

I made a theory a bit ago about the Brazil ending where I guessed that Gregory, Vanessa, and Helpy are supposed to represent Mimic, Vanny, and Glitchtrap respectfully. Mimic as Gregory is easy, Mimic spends the entire game pretending to be Gregory, but the other two are a bit harder, namely in that Glitchtrap and Vanny are both gone as of the princess quest ending, but maybe not. Originally my logic for Helpy being Glitchtrap was just that Helpi was controlled by Mimic and Glitchtrap is the digital form of Mimic, but then I thought about a detail in ruin I thought was odd, but might have a good reason to be there. There is rabbit imagery all over the Pizzaplex that wasn't there in base Security Breach, namely in Mask Bot and the wind-up music men. It must be there for a reason, and even if who could've done it in-universe is hard to figure out the out-of-universe reason is more important. The rabbit imagery in base Security Breach was all there because of Glitchtrap, who is the Mimic1 program uploaded into the entire Pizzaplex, meaning it is possibly even separate from Mimic at this point. Glitchtrap is the only thing connecting Mimic to rabbits, so I think the rabbit imagery is there to give the idea of Glitchtrap not being as dead as we thought. Vanny being there is even harder to prove, as Vanny was the name given to Vanessa under Glitchtrap's control, and Vanessa was freed. I haven't read the books, and it's been a while since I've watched a video about any of them but the most recent, but I do recall one book confirming Gregory to be Patient 46, and yet in-game he recalls none of it (as far as I'm aware). That almost directly states that being under the control of Glitchtrap gives you an alternate personality with its own set of memories that takes over to do Glitchtrap's bidding. I have no evidence for this idea, it's just a thought, but what if freeing Vanessa somehow meant that the Vanny alternate personality was trapped in the system (or it's just Mimic/Glitchtrap remembering Vanny and doing what it does best, which is more likely now that I think about it more. But if I'm right about my initial idea, it would mean that Vanny could return in some way while also having Vanessa be around. This isn't even speculation, it's just a fun idea, but one possible idea is a bare endoskeleton wearing the Vanny mask. It's still not Vanny's potential, but that potential is long gone, so it's as good of an idea as any (that's a lie Vanny as she was in Security Breach was an idea and look what that did to her)). (Come to think of it, was it ever confirmed that Glitchtrap was defeated in the princess quest ending? All we saw in that ending was a scream from the Glitchtrap box, then Vanessa was no longer Vanny, and the STAFF bots were lying dead on the ground for some reason. It is possible that all that did was separate Vanny from Vanessa. Again, I have no evidence for this, it's just a thought)

Its not necessary at all but I wish helpi had its own consciousness and not just an ai vessel.
