Pile 3-oh gosh. 😣 Usually I turn off reading having to do with him but I heard this one through. We have an 11-year history. We were engaged TWICE and he ran away both times, the last time was almost 2 years ago. I found out he had no intention of marrying me. The engagement was manipulation to get me to switch companies and move to his state. I took a huge financial hit when I was already struggling, while he has millions. I blocked him and if he gets through, I refuse to answer. Every time he contacts me (last time in June) he says, “let’s catch up.” Never has he apologized. I’ve worked through it and forgiven him to the extent I can, but every time he contacts me as if nothing happened, it almost scares me. Why won’t he let me go? It feels obsessive. I’ve tried every contract/cord cutting thing out there. Still he persists. If he contacts me in a different way, I’ll think about hearing him out, speak my piece, and wish him well, but no more.
