@@HappyBlanabaPlant Fact check any of Ben Shapiro's videos, and then make claims on "his lack of facts." Notice, they don't actually talk about any the (m a n y) facts he gives, just when there is some claim from anybody that disagrees with him. He has repeatedly said that in the same way he doesn't hold leaders on the Left for violence committed by Left wing organizations, it is not his fault that somebody takes what he says and decides to act violently. I will say, he definitely focuses on the radical left in is podcasts, but speaks Democrats across the spectrum whenever they let him. I very much so disagree with AOC. I listen to what she says (outside of outlets that only share one part of what she says... like I mean actually watch her in Congress uninterrupted). I highly recommend you do the same for Ben Shapiro, as I have gained some respect for AOC through this process even though I still largely disagree with her. Ive also been watching this channel, which sometimes gives accurate facts, but hey, gotta get multiple perspective.

Secondly the criticism towards Ben about his "my wife is a doctor" line is he brings it up A LOT as a way to borrow his wife to place himself in a position as a knowledgeable authority on something. You would cringe at a child who says "my dad is a cop, so i know the law better than you" but yet when Ben does the same thing people just nod along and go "wow, he so smart". And he doesn't _JUST_ do it about his wife either. He has legit done the "my dad is a composer so i know more about music than you" line as well. Jens, yes, my opinion, which is subjective, would argue that this piece on Ben Shapiro’s life needs to be more objective. It is not productive to analyse a man’s achievements to simply discredit them through means of comedy. I was prepared to watch a video informing me on Ben’s life. I was not prepared to be told that his whole life is a means to express his deeply incorrect political stance. I feel like my comment represents the people who don’t watch content to only act as reinforcement of ones rigid political beliefs.

Out of context? He said what he said about Kavanaugh and genitalia, the context is there. He said what he said about the muslim “radical majority” (based on polls asking a few hundred people if they think “the killing of civilians is sometimes justified”, which by the way Shapiro agrees with). He said what he said about gender not being malleable, that’s not out of context and by the way it’s not out of context that peer-reviewed scientific studies have the opposite conclusion. None of this is out of context.

Jens I have had worked with a lot of professional publications as an editor, proofreader, etc., and one thing every serious publication takes serious is spelling things correctly: there is an army of high level writers who should be checking everything over. When mistakes appear in a professional publication like this, it means that the writers either did not give a crap about doing their job or that it was published by some half wit who did not give a crap about their publication. So while you may think that a spelling mistake like that is unimportant, it is considered a really serious error by professionals in this sector.

He admitted that he only went to Harvard to make connections. He actively ignores what his curriculum consisted of to make bad faith arguments against progress.

I don't agree with everything Shapiro says, but I don't really see that much of an argument against Shapiro here. I believe the problem nowadays with journalists are that they can only come up with clickbait statistics without stating any precautions of what it really says and what information is still missing to sort of give a final answer to a certain question. Media of both sides take part in this in my opinion and extremist people of both sides are influenced by this and they act upon it in the way they see fit.

Well, Ben is simple encouraging you all to do fact checking.

Making a video/ claims about him to show that his views are wrong using clips without any conntant Wow that was convincing. So many things I disagree with Ben about but this video is not doing the job it claims to do.

You can’t disprove someone by doing the same thing you claim they are doing. You skipped over and minimized the studies and facts he has for his statements. He doesn’t just ignore studies, he has a large amount of their studies. There are plenty of ways to criticize Ben. Don’t take the lazy way.

Ben likes to tout a Harvard study by Roland Fryer that discredits the concept of systemic racism. I believed Ben, so found and read the study, the study was so incredibly misquoted and falsely quoted by Shapiro if he did read it... It means he's a liar. Cause the data by Fryer study reinforced police violence against people of color, furthermore the study is rife with self pointed out confounds. Through Shapiro's own hubris, by getting me to read something I thought he believed in, which I thought I would believe too, I found out he's most likely a big fat liar.

I actually like him more than I did after watching this. I actually started watching some of his videos, and I’ve added him to my list of many various biased sources(because they all are). Wish I could find some honest unbiased sources for current events, but they, sadly, just don’t exist. Thanks for finding me another by posting this.

I never noticed how nasally Ben Shapiro's voice is until this video. Lol. While he does have some bigoted tendencies, I think he genuinely believes the stuff he says and has good intentions. And every once in a while, especially about a specific controversial topic, Shapiro is very good at pointing out the hypocrisy of the left group think that denies science because it doesn't fit a certain narrative.

Yet, would any one of the left debate him? Especially some random comedian?

Ben knows his stuff. To me, he seems to be the most well informed individual on stage.

I think it's a bit hilarious to suggest Shapiro focuses solely on sensationalist comments or spends excess amount of time on pop culture commentary. He might do it as a slight detour and change of pace on rare occasion - which serves as a bit of comedic relief for his otherwise laser focus deconstruction of current political events skillfully interwoven with substantive 'no nonsense' commentary. Despite being heavily skewed to the right and thusly imbalanced in some respects, Shapiro avoids the usual pitfall of political tribalism and openly criticizes Trump(and other Republicans) without hesitation. It's also questionable to question his intelligence as watching any one of the various other interviews he's done with experts on a wide variety of topics that extend well beyond the political arena, he not only serves as a skillful interviewer asking pertinent questions, but tends to hold his own and engages whoever he's interacting with in a genuine way. Being multi-faceted in such a way cannot be contrived and oft serves a reliable metric for intelligence.

4:13 The funny thing is: That guy is an extreme conservative from the BBC. The only thing he was doing was asking "confrontational" questions to Ben Shapiro so he could present his arguments to support his views. Nothing else. That host was literally saying "ok, arabs like to live like that, tell WHY so people can hear those reasons" But poor little Ben didnt got it and thought he was being attacked. If you havent seen that interview, i recommend you to do it.

These "facts" and critiques of Shapiro are so incomplete. "He spends his time talking about important things." *shows him talking about star wars* ...so obviously if he talks about star wars ever, he doesn't talk about, have insights, and contextualize important/complex things ever. This video is so full of holes Shia LaBeouf would be astounded.

Why don't you actually explain some of the controversies instead of quickly telling the audience your personal opinion with no context.

Wow, I never thought so many people would be against Ben Shapiro. But then again, they don't try to argue the facts, but instead cling to ad hominem attacks and 'offensive' statements. Offensiveness is irrelevant. If I'm in a room with 100 people and 90% are black, and I make the claim 'the majority of people here are black' that is a factual statement. You are disagreeing with facts in favor of a subjective notion of offensiveness.

Ok, so this video was basically : Man. Man is right wing. Man bad. Must call out man. Like do people actually belieave this stuff? The shooter being ”inspired” by shapiro, is by no means his fault. I could read a book about sexism, then kill a bunch of men, does that mean the writer of the book is accountable? NO. Next thing. What you think about genders and transgenders are political opinions. He does not belieave in them, let that be his opinion. He himself has said though (which was conveniently left out of the video) that he will treat you with respect as long as you treat him with respect. That includes calling someone by their preffered pronouns. But when someone threatens to send him home in an ambulance if he does not agree about transgender things, justifies being a bit harsh towards them. (That actually happened on live tv lol). This video is just a compilation of small things he said with noooo context making him look much worse than he is . Go and actually watch some of his videos, and from there you can decide what YOU think. Not what the media tells you to think. Plus supporting Brett Cavanaugh in a case with no proof against him does not really sound wrong. Do your research people

It's not that "he dislikes radical Islam" its that he paints huge swaths of Muslims as "radical" to the extent that they will kill non-Muslims (such as that weird number he pulled out of his ass about how many Muslims are "radicalized"). It's actually sort of sad that Ben, a practicing Jew, does this because it's the same tactic that Nazi Germany used to turn the German public on Jews. But... Ben is also a hypocrite that only cares about facts so long as they support his view point so i guess he doesn't really care. It's like how he paints himself as a defender of FREE SPEECH yet anytime it's the left that is the victim he is oddly silent. He actually only cares when it effects _his_ speech.
