I want Uni on my team, she is a better goalie!

Uni is absolutely my old friend reincarnated, named Kato. Everything is the same, tuxedo coat pattern, the slight mark on the forehead, big whiskers, slightly sparse fur around the temples, eye shape and colour and totally the outgoing, "I'm the best" attitude. Kato was born in Texas, US - lived there and came all the way to England with us and spent all my life together (Kato was 28 years old when I was 32!) - ashes were spread on the Ganges River - and I'd like to think the current took them to the shores of Japan. Glad Uni and Nami are so lovingly taken care of. They deserve it.

Uni is also a replica of my sweet Sadie who passed last February at almost 16. When I watch Uni, I feel like I am watching her. It's so nice!

Uni has very good technique, using her whole body to defend!

And to absolutely nobody's surprise, the cats are more excited by the box than by the stuff that came in it.

Uni: "Is the camera on? Good - I'll pose in front of the goal; nothing will get past the floof..." Nami: "Can I eat it? No? Oh, can it go under the sofa?"

Must admit I thought Nami would win this by a whisker with her cat smarts....but Uni saved those goals like it was her job..!

Uni had the right posture for the job. Nami couldn't seem to figure it out. Her heart wasn't in the game. :) Haven't laughed this hard in ages. I, too, have a tuxedo cat that does a lot of goofy things.

I guess we know who is the athletic one in the family. Nami is more of an intellectual.
