Nowadays he will tell you who to vote or he will wish terrible things to happen to you.

Hands down, this is one of the better videos about politics by non-politicians. There are reasons why casting a vote is anonymous. First, obviously, to negate a personal disadvantage (of any kind) for people who voted against the future president. Especially physical violence. Secondly, a democracy is based on autonomously, - and as far as possible - objectively thinking people. These 'vote for XY'-videos aim for the exact opposite. They're advertising one or the other side, based on limited experiences and opinions by only one person. That's wrong.

Your comment did not even pertain to the main takeaway from the video which was that you should inherently follow the commands of a youtuber since they, like you, are just normal people. Steven Lister This isn't a good video on politics since Ethan really gave no input on politics other than he is voting for Hugh Mongus...or however he spells his 'name' but it is an important message to his younger audience to not listen to their favorite KZreadr's and idols on everything. I had no idea how bad KZreadr's react or try to influence the election until now. For Casey to tell his subscribers to "call out any KZreadr's not explaining their political views" is just disappointing. For many American's, their vote or political views are very private and for a big, independently ran KZread account to say a controversial opinion, that may result in hate or violence. It's no ones choice but the voter to choose who they want as president. They can be influenced and may be but they should do their own research, since relying on a specific source is bound to be biased. I say research both sides views and the candidates specific opposing views. Instead of just seeing what a democrat or republican wants, see what that candidate specifically wants and would do for taxes, controversial issues, etc. That's kind of common sense but many people jist get overtaken by news sources scratching the surface of politics and are stubborn to go through with actual research themselves. I think that little kids idols telling them to vote this or vote that and them ignorantly listening without any skepticism is just asking for a generation of uninformed citizens.

This video is so hard to watch now. I used to be a fan of Ethan and his content back in 2016 and 2017 and there was a reason for that. Despite having a dark since of humor, he seemed like a very level-headed and down-to-earth guy that clearly had good intentions who appreciated his fans regardless of their beliefs. And now seeing what he has become with him having a bad podcast all fueled on bitterness, hate, feuds, bad political takes and just being condescending to everyone he disagrees with. He doesn't exactly "want" Clinton to be president, but when you've only got two candidates and you are so strongly idealistically against one of them more than the other, endorsing the other to boost chances of victory is expected. People were pissed at Cruz when he refused to endorse Trump, now people are pissed at Sanders because he endorses Clinton. Can't endorse or not endorse anyone without angering someone.

Mike C The way he's suggested going about it is what's racist. You really want to uproot the lives of 11 million people? Logistics aside, that's incredibly cruel. What we need is a pathway toward citizenship that doesn't rip apart established families, and send them back to the cartel-ravaged areas they came from. If they refuse to accept the pathway towards citizenship, THEN they may be removed. But at least give them the option before flipping their lives upside down.
