Even though I like Akane, I'm fine with any one of them wining, after a proper development. Although I still root for Akane, there is just something so charming about her relationship with Hayato. Great video, as always!

Akane should win but I know she wont cause authors hate to have the cool, funny dynamic girl who actually confesses first win, but instead the tsundere girl who always argues and fights with the mc so I think Ouka will win, although Akane deserves it more.

calling them the on hold gang is a good way to describe those three I feel like Ouka has the strongest chance to win as time goes on its like Itsuki's ghost came to her one night and went finish what I started. i kinda wish she was gone for abit longer like maybe 10 more chapter but it is what it is i'm definitely interested to see what happens next also outside of the main 5 Mao's a keeper love her.

What I love about Hayato is he's not a push over. He doesn't take crap from anyone. Major respect for the dude.

Honestly i have no idea of who will end up with Hayato, i'm just along for the ride. I am curious about Ami though...she hasn't had much focus yet as you said, and i have a feeling that we're gonna see her develop massively in the future.

Just barely got to watching the video, and especially with all the recent chapters lately, I do feel like Ouka still has the most edge compared to the others. Ngl, Ouka has definitely become my favorite of the 5, but all five of them are still great, especially Ami, who I’m glad is nothing like Yotsuba (cough cough). I do love this cast, and I just love how the relationships can feel very organic, even if some stuff can be a bit too on the nose. Nonetheless, another great video, hope there’s more to come in the future! :)

You perfectly explained why I freaking love Ouka's character so much. Her dynamic with Hayato's the best, and how both of them are dreamers and pretty bold for reaching them by hook or by crook.

Yeah same. I did already like Ouka, but with chapters 118-119, she definitely skyrocketed as my favorite for sure.

Yeah, but his daughter is his grandmother's doppelganger, pretty much. Sure, you could theoretically eliminate Riho, Akane and Shiragiku because they don't match her personality at all, but then again, she's like Hayato's grandmother; it seems like she's taken all the traits from Hayato. I don't think we can deduce much from that.

@SylvanesW that's because she has double the dose of her father's genes. In other words, she takes after her father more than her mother.

I think that most of these girls don't really act on their feelings despite clearly wanting to, is that it could potentially ruin the sisterhood that they have. At least when they're all together.

Looking at the future sequences, Hayato's daughter seems to capture certain personality traits of the 5 girls.

I think the latest is chapter 116, and there is the part when ouka kiss hayato while sleeping. And I think ouka is starting.

Yay, I've been waiting for this! I read the entire manga just so I could watch this video. Unfortunately, I think the winner will either be Ouka or Ami. But Ouka has the biggest chances out of the two of them. I'd rather have Akane or Riho win, though. And, of course, Rei, but she's out of the picture. T_T But I dislike the "I didn't chose the wife, but I give evidence for her in my story" approach, as it makes all the foreshadowings meaningless and story unpredictable. I know that it's to make the wife the girl who will have the best relationship with Hayato, but even this backfired, since the one girl that seems to be a great love interest and could easily be the wife was *never* a candidate. The author should decide if he's going with the flow or if he has it all planned and gives clues for his intentions.

While the most predictable path is Ouka, I wouldn't put it past the author to bring something out of left field, there is also a chance the the Author might pull a "We Never Learn" situation, where there is multiple endings. Is that one likely? no, but it is possible.

While I totally agree and have always agreed with the ranking (well, most of it), I don't think Riho should be crossed out of the competition this fast. Her dynamic with Hayato isn't terrible and she seems to have better interactions (and more of them) than Shiragiku. Also, you need to remember that Hayato went along with Riho's kissing plan. Other girls kissed him, too, sure, and he didn't resist, but with Riho he actively took charge. If she didn't have any chance then I don't think he'd do that. Of course, her kiss was written the way to best fit Riho's character (and also for the Rei plotline) and if Hayato didn't go along with it then it would be dead giveaway (although I'm pretty sure he'd go along with it no matter which girl would propose it), but I still choose to believe... I do agree that the trip proposal massively sabotages Riho's chances, tho. T_T

I hate the fact that Ouka could be the endgame because she was the worst in dynamic and popularity, but it just so happens that Seo has imbued her with massive plot armor to balance things out so it’s less fleshed out in a cohesive way and more like forced by the author’s will which is unfair from a narrative perspective.

Yeah, it does feel a lot like a classic harem trope when you look at it that way. But because Seo Kouji made it clear that he is self-aware of this situation, I actually can't tell whether he will play into it or not.

Iswr this is another quintessential quintuplets situation. The winner will either be ami or shiragiku... Just like yotsuba, ami is the dumb and athletic one while shiragiku is the childhood friend and the cooperative one(just like yotsuba) Though I want akane to win, ik it wont happen😭

Shiragiku won't win, there's just no way. She seems to think that she doesn't have to worry about winning because of the few interactions she has with Hayato, but she's massively behind. There's no way she'd win. Ouka will win. Of that I'm sure. Also, judging girls chances by comparing them to QQ is weird attitude since 1) those are two different series, 2) people didn't like the choice in QQ. Why would Seo Kouji repeat the mistake? Especially since he made the manga the way that would avoid the Yotsuba problem.

Your list is great. I have the Same exact order except I have Shiragiku Ono Last and Riho Tsukishima tied for 3rd. Another details that heavily suggests that Ouka will win is the fact that Ouka's personality closely resembles that of Hayato's Grandmother when she was his age. Big part that is left out of most of these discussions.

i mean like this is not quintessential quintuplets. But I really hope a really good twist in the story that i won't regret reading.

Right now in the manga Akane has been the one to be the closest with Hayato. I really hope she’s the one who ends up with Hayato. But since this series has those same vibes from The Quintessential Quintuplets she probably won’t be. I swear if this author pulls that same cliche crap of Ono being the chosen one because she met him first, I will lose my goddam mind. It was stupid that Yotsuba was the chosen one and it will be stupid here too, this donkey ass girl is nothing but fan service and comedy relief so far

if it wasn t for the terrible begining the humor the fanservise i whoud probably give a chance but for me the quintuplets are way better
