Since I'm the only one left that cares, let's not forget Lucinda Jane Sturgeon. 1935- 2022, died March 16th, 2022 of renal failure and blood loss. She may not be famous, but she was my mother, and she was the greatest mother a person could ever have. She was a great Nana, and a nice person. I will never forget her, and I will miss her deeply forever. Goodbye Mom I love you. Your loving son, Terry McClintock Thank you everyone for your words, thoughts, and prayers I appreciate them very much, and I will not forget them. Y'all have given me a little more faith in humanity and made me feel not so alone during this. God bless everyone of you.

I know exactly what you're going through, I lost my mother 5 years ago on January 15th, 2017,....and she was one of the best mothers anyone could ever ask for,..I too won't ever forget her, she's always in & near my thoughts. Its the strangest feeling in the world not to have your mama in your life anymore. Your loss in new,...and I'm still feeling hurt and sad right along with you, I don't think these feelings will ever end. May both our beloved mothers rest in Heavenly Peace😇⚘.

I care. I too am the last of our nuclear family losing my 38 year old brother in 1988 and my Dad age 67 in 1989. I know the unconditional love of a mother who cared for her family so deeply, selflessly and grateful for her life. I took care of her for 45 years due to her Rheumatoid Arthritis crippling her entire body. She never complained of the pain. The cruelest of all was watching her leave us slowly to Alzheimer’s. I can imagine your sorrow because we were blessed with wonderful mothers when many are not. ❤️🙏🏻

I'd like to add 2 surfers-turned-actors who were in the Frankie & Annette Beach Party movies. ED GARNER (passed on Mar 5) and JOHNNY FAIN (passed on (Mar 9). Both Garner & Fain were plucked off Malibu beach by Director William Asher to do surfing stunts and provide atmosphere for Beach Party (1963) the first of the Frankie & Annette flicks. As the beach movies became wildly popular, a core of recurring surfers and bikini-clad starlets emerged as audience favorites. American-International signed them to contracts and began promoting them as the 'beach party gang'. Ed Garner and Johnny Fain were part of the gang, along with Salli Sachse, Patti Chandler, Mary Hughes, Linda Opie and Michael Nader (who would one day star in Dynasty). The 'beach party gang' didn't just appear in the films; AIP would also send them out on promotional tours around the country. Garner and Fain were in Beach Party, Muscle Beach Party, Bikini Beach, Pajama Party, Beach Blanket Bingo, Ski Party, How to Stuff A WIld Bikini and The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini (Garner only). Thank you ED GARNER and JOHNNY FAIN for bringing the sun-kissed myth of a California surfing paradise to all of us kids who grew up with these movies.

Mrs Albright was a very gracious lady to my daughter and her friends; My daughter Angelique was one of a group of Bradley University students who were studying in Europe for the summer. They were in Innsbruck Austria when they learned that Mrs. Albright was in the city after having on a mission to the Balkans during the wars there. They all decided to go to her hotel and serenade her with the "Stat Spangled Banner" outside the hotel.. She came to the window of her room and was so moved that she invited them all in for refreshments and spent time with them asking about their lives, families, and goals. She was very kind to take the time to meet with them unannounced and it was a highlight of my daughter's adventures.

I recall a few of these actors. There are so many we've known and appreciated whose passing we never hear about except those from a violent criminal death. In our community church services during Covid have been eliminated which may be just as well as many people may not wish to attend or have other people we haven't cared for attend a final memorial service. It should be a private family decision respected by all

Never speak ill of the dead... Sometimes saying nothing is better than opening your mouth and removing all doubt. Politicizing & trolling somebody's obituary shows a lack of maturity, upbringing, decency and class. You don't have to like a person. You don't have to agree with their politics or their point of view on certain subjects. However, there's a time and place for making your point of view. This isn't the time nor, is it the place. Show some decency. At least wait until AFTER the funeral.🤨✌️

  • @TheRabidWolverine

    2 жыл бұрын

@@douginorlando6260 Apparently you did not study your history did you? Madrline Albright left her native country (Poland) because of Hitler and his regime! Geez! Apparently you're in that little white wash one room school that gave you too many brain injuries. Number one, They had a bounty out on a former president (Bush the 1st)but I guess you're going to forget that as well. Number two, They had evidence of weapons of mass (since it's Saddam Hussein filmed killing all those villagers of Desert shield and Desert Storm stating that he was going to kill all people except Muslims throughout the world. I guess you forgot that little fact too) destruction (WMD's) for a time. We never found because the documentation because it was destroyed by the staff. They found evidence of mobile Labs that had these chemicals make no doubt about it. Otherwise they would have brought him up on charges as a whole lot sooner. Or are you going to forget that Iraqi village prior to Iraqi freedom at the beginning of Desert Storm that killed 275+ unarmed men, women and children (some were babies on their mother's arms) and injured over a thousand has they tested out their sarin gas on their OWN PEOPLE in THAT VILLAGE!!! Then said Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein publicize said footage film for the world to see what they will do to anybody who assists the opposition of their regime or anyone who wasn't a Muslim. You forgot about those murders that caused said sanctions I bet huh? I bet you, Hitler and Mussolini would've been a great trio with your selective memory! You know I find it very insulting when some people will pick and choose what they remember in history but never State the full fact that happened within said history let alone what was THE CAUSE OF IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! My point in my original post was there's a time and a place to say something about this. And THIS wasn't! You don't speak ill of a person during somebody's obituary nor at their funeral. That one can be above being petty and vindictive if they choose to. Has in any season there is a time and a place for this. A time to laugh, a time to mourn, a time to smile, a time to cry, even a time to dance. You choose not to understand the lesson that were even written in a holy book (in this case Ecclesiastes in the Bible), Pity. I'm not saying that you have to scream and pull out your hair while crying a river of tears over Madeline Albright. What I am saying that there is a time and a place for putting out your view and opposition. And this wasn't the time nor the place to do it! This was a time and a place to be a decent human being and allow her family to mourn their loss. That you could have been the better, classier human being and have waited for a week. Yet here we are because you choose not to. You have chosen to be petty, judgemental & vindictive. A classless act. Here endth the lesson.✌️
