ABCs of Salvation are A - Admit your a sinner (have broken most of the 10 commandments, like everyone else) B - Believe Jesus has come in the flesh, die so that you could be redeemed, because he was perfect (God) death could not hold Him so he rose from the grave after three days in a tomb and ascended back into heaven. C - Comfess your sins. Live is a continual state of repentance. Start reading your Bible everyday with the only intent of getting to know Him. Prune everything worldly, movies, music and even friends out of your life. When you grow to love Him you will keep His commandments which is to love.

The irony of trust is this: If you trust someone you know will never betray you, or who is incapable of doing so, you don't trust at all. That requires no faith because there's little to no risk. Trust is only possible when the person you trust is somewhat unpredictable and fully capable of betraying you in the worst ways. But then, the question arises: Why trust if you know they can betray? Doesn't that make you a fool? No. It doesn't. Jordan said it perfectly. Trusting and thinking the person can't burn you is naive. Trusting and knowing the person can, but trusting anyways, is courage.

I don't believe that being naive is stupidity. People usually don't know they're naive until someone tells them and explains it to them. Most of the time being naive is subconscious, as was the case for me. With the childhood I had I was not well equipped to deal with this world. One friend came along and told me that I was very naive and explained it to me. It was hard to accept at first but things got better. Don't forget, sometimes it comes from childhood. How you were raised and treated. If parents don't equip their child / children, they will not be equipped for this world and will run into alot of walls. Unless they're lucky enough to meet someone who cares enough to tell them. My mother couldn't have cared less.

I can honestly say that there is not one person on earth that I completely trust. There is only one person, my brother, that I mostly trust. I am extremely lonely even though I'm married and have two beautiful kids that I love more than life itself.

I think you can trust people way to much and easily. You think they are kind hearted. You give people your Heart too. Does that make me a bad person? Every time I like someone too strongly. I mess it up. That's my problem. That's why I tend to stay to myself. I don't bother other's. Therefore I won't get hurt. My own fault. No one else's.

We can trust Jesus Christ. THE GOSPEL (THE GOOD NEWS) OF JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOR One of the main reasons we are here is to seek a loving reconciled relationship with God our Creator in Heaven Who wrote the Holy Bible to us, by accepting His only begotten Son Jesus Christ as our Savior from our sins, because right now we are all separated from God in Heaven because of our sins, but.. Jesus Christ came down here from Heaven (God on earth) and He was born one of us, and He dwelt among us, and He gave us His perfect sinless life, and He suffered and died on the cross, to take our punishment for, and to save us from, our sins, to reconcile us with God, and to give us eternal life with Him, and He resurrected from the dead three days later, and after living on earth for forty days, He ascended back up into Heaven, and He is coming back again at the end of this world, and every one will see Him and be judged by Him. ALWAYS LOVE AND BE THANKFUL FOR JESUS CHRIST. GOD IS: the Father the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit ALL at once, ALWAYS. He is the One True Eternal Living God of all creation and He loves all of us. We cannot earn salvation and eternal life and be reconciled with God with good deeds, good works, or with religious rituals, It is the gift from God to all who believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, and resurrected from the dead, to save them from their sins, to reconcile them with God, and to give them eternal life with Him. Period. Simple. Truth. Come as you are, sins and all, and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and He will change you from the inside out. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Become a follower of Jesus Christ, a CHRISTian, Christian, first, by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior, and by reading the Holy Bible everyday, and by praying, talking to God in Heaven everyday, and by imitating Jesus's life on earth, in the Bible Jesus shows us to be, obedient to God in Heaven, loving, forgiving, kind, merciful, peaceful, thankful, honest, righteous, humble, compassionate and much more. ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR TODAY.

How about if you have too much to lose? It’s easy to trust when you have nothing to lose. What about financial loss? Opportunity loss? Losing children, your health, your freedom and all the things you might sacrifice.

So true Sara, I think that is such a valuable topic! Trust can be such a scary thing when you have so much to lose. I would love to share with you one of my all time favourite quotes: "A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not on the branch, but on its own wings." May you never forget the power you hold within yourself 🙏

All these things we call ours are never ours, rather blessings given to experience as we live. To horde good things yields painful consequences later on. The only thing that belongs to us is contained in our own being and anything out of it is beyond what we can control. Yet to accept it just as it is requires a process of acclimation that comes in phases. Rather than worry ,live life full and enjoy the good we have right here and now.😊

@@joshuabaru2908 I think it’s amazingly beautiful a human can have so much hope, however, it’s a big lie to say that we don’t quantify our risk. Trusting in Jesus Christ is different than trusting in your spouse let’s say, or trusting your business partner - in those cases, we put up safeguards, for example in the case of a spouse, we have a legal marriage and in the case of a business partner, a contract. There’s nothing virtuous about being gullible, there is something practical about choosing to trust in specific cases and especially if that person is trustworthy.

@@SaraSara-bc8ts yes, that is a very good point that I admit have overlooked at times. Maybe it's due to my personal bias of wanting things to be reduced to simplified statements but this naivety has caused so much avoidable pitfalls if approached in a more quantified manner. As a mentor once kept reminding, "never do anything halfheartedly or it will backfire." It took some painful experiences to get the lesson through my thick head. Yes, to approach any situations without prior thoughtful consideration and plan is fooliness.
