When I hit 43-44 I decided I didn't want to climb the status pole. Unfortunately I did quit, but for a good reason. I went off grid made my own huge garden, hunted my own meat and I put a large pole in the middle of my property .I can sit on the top anytime I want. I started the right habits every morning and then throughout the day and they became routine but I learned that I have to accommodate when I leave my own little world. After 11 years I'm happy.

I got pay raise twice in 6 months. Started at $20/hr now i am making $29/hr. Biggest reason for that was I showed up 15 mins early every day, leave work with everyone. Work as hard as I could because I had a chance and I wanna grab it. I am proud of myself that I tried and succeeded in achieving something as you say it is not a king’s ransom but hell a lot more than 0 and hell a lot more than $20 😊

Society has degraded to a point no one even recognises the place anymore. After years of fighting and always striving for better and better, I have nothing left. I have applied everything taught, five times over, yet still nothing. I.hope these videos help those out there that need it. Sadly for me, the time has come. Good luck people ❤

I instantly felt like a real person with JP - had multiple jobs, went through some real losses, (temporarily) became bitter and cynical. I always felt so remedial for not being 'better', and to listen to him is to understand that overcoming the human condition has some nobility to it. It wasn't just me personally being the world's largest failure.

There is so much crap thrown at Jordan Peterson and honestly he’s one of the only people mentally fit to fight all of that crap thrown his way. The minute he said he wanted to find out what it was like to be that person, referencing the polish police who took naked pregnant women out to shoot them, I realised he was a true psychologist. You don’t sweep those people under the carpet, you need to understand them on their very level to be able to make any form of positive change. He is one of the truest psychologists in our time.

Thank you for putting this video together. I'm having a tough time with my final year of university, and this is helping me get through it. The "There's more to me than there is to the catastrophe" part resonates and brings a tear. As a child, I was bullied, beaten, abandoned by my family and sexually abused by others. Somehow, I've managed to unknowingly keep going. I'm in my 40s, recently had therapy, listened to Jordan Peterson, and attended GRIT (UK Charity) sessions. All of these childhood disturbances have enabled me to see the world differently and have led me to set up a social enterprise to improve education for young learners. Hence "There's more to me than there is to the catastrophe" is powerfully true! I'll watch this video every morning. Thank you again!

Jordan Peterson, your words are profound and strike me deeply and have ever since discovering you on the internet. You speak to so many men exactly where we're all at. You cut through the BS and break things down both psychologically and, in my opinion, SPIRITUALLY. Your inspiring speaking makes it's easier to own life's challenges and get going anyway. Thank you falls far short of the appreciation and gratitude I have for you and your work my friend. I believe life is our creation and a result of what we're creating, it's not actually happening TO us. We have all agreed to experience hardship and joy. It seems to give me the confidence that no matter what happens, we will be able to handle it with integrity, compassion and wisdom. Above all, Love for Creation and Mankind🙏

All the joy I’ve got from life is from being self employed. So when I hear his speeches like this it just makes me go uuurrghhhh

Well another thanksgiving with no invite...no dinner. At least I don't have to answer rhetorical questions like "why don't I listen", why dont I do as I'm told without asking questions", "why don't I do what I'm supposed to". I don't follow the rules but do those rules come before or after the one where your supposed to have a brothers back, because my brothers giggle and laugh when their friend tell me I need smacked for not getting them their beer and then they treat me like I have a something wrong with me to cover up for it
