I'm always pursuing and moving forward. I change jobs and move about every 3 years. I haven't sufficiently liked any job or place to live to stay with it more than about 3 years.

Trying to shame people who are single and childless is not Biblical. The apostle Paul stated in the gospels it is good for people to be single. There is a freedom that allows you to focus more on God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. As long as you are centered on God as your focus and you stay away from destructive sins as is outlined in the Holy Scriptures like lust, gluttony, laziness, pride etc. And you are constantly trying to abide with Jesus Christ and move in the unction of the Holy Spirit rather than carnal narcissism, a single life can be peaceful and fulfilling. When cultures try to look down on or peer pressure people into relationships and make people feel like they are mentally ill or going to go crazy just because they are isolated, this is short sighted. The Bible talks about the gift of singleness. Dr. Peterson, you are a nice, intelligent man but please understand that some people function better in life being more alone.

I don’t believe in death I know the body dies but the conscience goes on, I’ve known conflict prisons in my enemy’s land I’m Irish and truly feel we are a different animal than other peoples, now I’m older we have peace I prefer my own company I love dogs they have honour loyalty and no betrayal. I’ve known men for 30 years who have betrayed others. I’ve given and taken life in conflict I never knew true peace till I walked away. It was important to walk away with my character in good tact. For me there’s a universal balance that bites you hard if you live life as a fraud or a slave to money fame or arrogance. Peace to all and Mr Peterson has brought me comfort in them bad nights ☘️♟.

We need deep connections in shallow world. If the pattern of. Abuse repeats to you, does it mean its you??? No Its the world. The world has crumbled in last 20 years. Shallow conversations. Echo chambers. Evil people. Poverty. War. I am almost erased by my ex girlfriend. However i still know. What's good and not. Most of. Population IQ and EQ ARE DEGRADED. they say things that pop in their head. They teach other people with things they see on internet without verifying. This is leading to mass psychosis... So. Jordan i respect you. I read your book. But you needed to start ringing bells about society especially in the west collapsing.

Thanks for honoring my freedom of speech. The Stoic philosophy had a strong appeal to Christian theologians of the early 20th century. But stoicism IS philosophy ... and theologians give off airs that they know TRUTH ... direct from the CREATOR of the universe. To preach the bible ... you can't just say you are a philosopher ... and expect to get away with it.

I may not be worthless, but I am definitely unwanted My parents don’t want me around my sisters blame me for their entire upbringing not being perfect Nobody wants me or likes me, so why the fuck am I here? Living with people that hate me and don’t like me and take their anger out on me because I’m just a family punching bag And if I throw it back at them Suddenly, I’m the bad guy and everybody jumps on me because I am a horrible human that doesn’t belong and no one likes me

Happiness is not in movement towards a goal. The ancient sages realized that the secession of suffering and anxiety comes when the desire is met. We feel psychological tension when there is an unmet desire… And then we feel happiness when that tension is relieved by the acquisition of the desire, and the mind is at peace once again because it is no longer in desire. In enlightenment teachings, one lets go of desires and, by doing so, the mind no longer enters into the stress of having an unmet desire, and therefore remains in the state of happiness. So if you want permanent happiness, you have to overcome the mind and train it to rest in the contentment of the heart.

Not everyone who is walking alone wants to be alone. Many, perhaps most, of us have been betrayed one time too many! We've lost the ability to trust others. That is what repeated betrayal does to people! It completely destroys Trust! Those responsible for that are Evil people. They are the ones who deserve to be alone in life. But that rarely happens.

i lived my life to the fullest, the only thing that matters to me now is serving my lord when he calls upon me. Nothing is more fulfilling than doing work for Jesus Christ. A small part of my past is i few hangliders for 23 years, was sucked into a thunderstorm in 2005 and im still here.
