It still makes my blood boil that the show runners treated ser barristan selmy like this, still one of the best swordsmen in the world slaughtered in the alley! Don't forget this is the man who told the kings guard "i could still cut through the five of you" then threw his sword at the feet of joffrey and said "here boy melt it down and add it to the rest"!!! I loved his character!!!

if u watch that scene the hound readying himself next to joffery shows that one of the biggest realists in got knew he would b able to i think s1 barrastan could hav killed 15 harpys easy in a confined space like an alley

@@Grayson030 absolutely spot on Ian McElhaney who played ser barristan had read the books so knew the character inside out, D&D really screwed him over! Don't forget this is the man who got the nickname barriston the bold by singlehandedly running into a castle and rescuing the mad king and this is how they treated him butchered in an alley by second rate sellswords..

I think that the Ghiscari Empire was involved deeply with blood magic and creating abominations by binding men and beasts together. The very symbol of their empire, the Harpy, is a creature with a woman's head and torso, with bat wings, clawed eagle legs, and a scorpion's tail. The Brazen Beasts are simply an extension of that culture, a culture that views animals in such a way as to be bound in blood to man. It's also shown in Dance with Dragons that the Ghiscari eats literally every creature. My theory is that Dany finishes the work of her Valyrian ancestors, and finally kills off the last of the Ghiscari.

Unfortunately, not everyone can have the Rogue Prince to pass by, become chief of security and turn the police force into an actually feared group like it happened to the Golden Cloaks. If it wasn't for him, the Golden Cloaks would be no better then the Brazen Beasts probably.

You should read the Republic of Thieves. It is a cool Renaissance fantasy story with a mysterious lore.

Just starting this video. I think Shavepates do get a lot of attention. Be it Quentyn Martell pretending to be one ( while trying to take dragons) or as Ser Barristan arrests Hizadhar zo Loraq. In show, it would have been too difficult to follow. No worries if they decided not to include.

I totally read the title as "Brazen Breasts." 🤦 The pic confused me even more but figured with a name like that this has to be interesting 😁

He chose one of the noble man who choose to be loyal to Daenerys and shaved his head as a sign of loyalty. He was chosen as the commander of the city watch. The noble man hired people from the Mereen as the city watch.

A woman complaining her house was turned into a brothel, a man complaining about the Freeman taking all the work from the bricklayers Guild, and a man complaining about his former Weaver slaves getting all the work he thinks he should get

The Beresten dude was old yeah I'm sure he can still fight pretty good but he was like old old not like Bron old like king Aries old..... it wasn't pointless man it was time for him to go

It's not hard for me to believe that 20 or 30 dudes with knives could kill two guys much less one..... dude I don't recall any of them being talked about as to be able to kill 20 dudes in a small room using a longsword with ease......... no not too hard for me to believe

Barristan has no room to talk of loyalty, since hes only loyal to Dany cuz he simps for Rhaegar and will bend the knee to whoever reflects Rhaegar the most.

He's only loyal because Joffery fired him.... If Joffery never fored him he would've stayed loyal to the Lannister's

4 against 8 comment is a bit naive. Even if you are a very accomplished fighter facing two adversaries at the same time is extremely difficult. Particularly when those 8 are either knights trained to fight since they were 5 year olds and mercs with years of battles on their back.
