Whitney voice...what can I say her voice is better than any other female singer out there
Great reaction!! She was past her prime at this point but STILL sounded better than most that were in their prime at that time. A true GOAT! React to her Live official video of "Didn't We Almost Have it All" with the brown leather jacket on. It's one of her best live performances EVER!!
Iconic
Whitney was the master of singing around a note when her voice wasn't at its best. Ms. Dolly Parton was the writer and original singer..I know you'd enjoy it too. God bless you.
The song was written by Dolly Parton...and she agreed with you...she always says.."Whitney did more for this song, than I could" She also says..."as long as my checks clear, Whitney can take it away!" I love both of those women byw
Whitney ALWAYS sang LIVE ❤
If you haven’t already, you should check out my favorite performance from her is: Whitney Houston - Medley: I Loves You, Porgy / And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going / I Have Nothing. I remember watching it in ‘94 and never forgot it, actually in 2000 I paid $100 for the audio file of ‘I love you, Porgy’ portion of the Medley. And this is before KZread came out and I still til this day think it was worth every cent I paid. Check it out and I would love to know your reaction to it. Take care and get well soon

To this day, I actually think that is one of the best live performances ever done by someone.
Get well soon man!! Although her live performances from 1994 are vocally superior than this because she was at her peak, I do appreciate here the emotion and soul
This is my song to my God given son. I miss him so.
Dolly Parton wrote this song as a goodbye to the man who had given her the big break in music that set off her career, Porter Wagoner, and she actually hit #1 with it twice, once in 1974 and then again in 1982 as a part of the soundtrack to the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas movie she did, and actually charted it a third time with Vince Gill as a duet in 1995. I've always felt like Dolly's original was about the emotion of the song, and Whitney's version was about the vocal performance of the song, one not better than the other, just a different take on the same song. Whitney actually won a Grammy for the song, presented by...Dolly Parton. Dolly actually wrote this song and Jolene back to back which was a pretty good songwriting session since both songs are now iconic. The only person I think comes close to duplicating Whitney's performance now is Dutch singer Glennis Grace whose vocal tones are so similar to Whitney's it's a little eery.
Yes that's Pat, Bobby and Bobbi Kris!
I love the quote she said about music being love and if you teach kids music they will always feel loved. So true. Also thanks for showing us da booty.
