The beer intermission was oh so Canadian. Luved it

I saw this phenomenal band in Portland Oregon last week and they blew me away. They're incredible to see live - they build up the sound layer after layer to an incredible crescendo - and their songs have such strong hooks you find yourself longing to hear them again. I bought 2 of their CD's - one for me and another for my friend who was with me - and I have been playing it constantly ever since! If you have a chance to see them perform live - go! - you won't regret it!

The beer break/ swig is so perfect! Such an incredibly talented pair.

This is honestly one of the best songs I've ever heard. My teacher showed it to us today because he could get it out of his head and I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it!

This was three years ago and I still have not wavered in my love for the two of you. Your chemistry is so evident in your harmonies and performances. Not only is this a great song with interesting complexity in the lyrics and song structure, but this performance is intimate and dynamic, using loops (including a couple cooking pots and telephone audio effect) and the pause/false ending creates a contradiction; "Never goin' back", but then, maybe we do. Fantastic stuff.

Has an interesting sound. Reminds me of Cowboy Junkies. Nice sound. Original compositions. More than most country/pop artists can say (Yes, I'm talking about every song coming out of Nashville these days outside of Zac Brown!) Nice to hear some original stuff.

Damn Canada's got some talent these days. Seems like every week I'm hearing about a new group I just gotta listen to. Too bad I didn't hear about these guys earlier. Gotta love CBC for helping get acts like this out there. Keep on doing your thing because my ears certainly can't get enough

Lucky to be in SE Michigan, where we have a very strong CBC station. That's why I know this magnificent songs (plus on CBC there's real news--not just propaganda like what we always get).
