I’m a mixed American black Mexican Japanese white and I totally agree but I do not feel oppressed . I am a functioning successful member of society. I understand people hate me for me but I simply don’t care and it’s the only way to move forward. Denouncing racism is great but it won’t change them, so we have to move on. If she had morals she would have excused them but shall we cry about it or just not vote for her or vote her out?

I have been saying that since early 2016, that trump told a level of bigotry I didn’t realize was just below the surface of American society, that their irrational hatred of “the other” was okay for them to exclaim, of which I agree. I'm a Tennessean who lived in Ohio for 10 years. I enjoyed the atmosphere there, but in the 15 years since I left Ohio I've had endless Ohioans tell me how much it's changed. Ohio may be better than Tennessee, but honestly not by much these days. I miss Ohio, but I miss the Ohio that I lived in, not the one that exists today.

It's a weird one.. 'we' are not moving backwards, the media are trying to make us. You will never meet a white supremacist in your lifetime. The media bring these people out for us to see and keep the 'racism' narrative alive because the 'media' are anti european and ALWAYS have been. Being pro black is seen as a good thing and encouraged, when that mentality is extremist and hateful too. Our reality that has been moulded through t.v, film, social media creates who are the bad guys and who are the good guys, and it will rub off on you. After watching this as a black lady you will go out now and see a white person a little differently and have your guard up a little bit more than before watching it.

It just like Don and his fascination with gangsters. These people love authoritarians, but they never read the end of the book.

They think things will be "great", as long as their guy and their side is in charge under an authoritarian government. They need to read up on history. This doesn't go well for all citizens. EVER.

DHS, do your dang job and declare these groups to be terrorists, put PSA's in every form of communication warning the public of who the people in these groups are, and where they are active. Hold them accountable when they commit crimes. If there were minority groups doing things like this, the local, state, and federal law enforcement would be all over them.

If Gabrielle Hanson is gaining traction, it's not just dumb luck. She has political and financial support from the residents of Franklin, TN.

Unfortunately, until they commit some overt act of violence or credible evidence of a plan to commit a violent act is obtained; there is little that can be done to stop groups like this from existing. The FBI can watch them and try to stop violence from occuring, but that's nearly impossible. That's why everyday ordinary citizens have to be ever vigilant about what is happening right under our noses in our own towns and stay active in our communities and keep voting out people who even display the slightest hint that they are not there to do their job with even handed democracy in mind.

TN is still part of the South and racism is still ingrained into the southern way of life it's never gone away. I live in NC and just 10miles away from where I live not even 25-30 yrs ago it was considered a sun down town. Even today natives don't go there much because of how their police force acts towards ppl with brown skin
