I love hearing boot reviews from someone who works on boots.

I really like that you have a sumary in spanish. Very nice! I like these colours, actually, but most of all the thick leather. I agree with you, it would be nice if they had leather midsoles, but any midsole is better than none - it makes repair much cheaper and easier.

I ordered a pair for their hybrid wedge, all black. They weren't in stock in my size but the still honored the 20% sale, although they weren't in stock. I want to make a "Moc Darten" and black out the stitching on the boot and dye the stitching on the welt yellow. Looking forward to see how they'll turn out. The Perry Selects in tobacco stampede are really nice, got them scuffed a bit and the sole is getting dirt-wear but I like them. Still breaking them but I conditioned them with Leather Honey and they got a touch darker which I didn't like but eh, they're boots. Let's see how that resole looks once you've finished.

I have this exact same pair, and I love em. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is how the sole gets dirty so easily, but that's not a "boot thing". Those sole...it is what it is!

I've got a pair in the British Tan and I love them. Heavy but comfortable. Really good-looking. I've got no complaints at all. The welt doesn't even bother me. I tried, but it just doesn't bother me. Oh well. Thanks for the video. Learned a bit about my boots!

I got the Perry’s last week with the end of winter discount as well and mine also had some flaws. Seems like they wanted to get rid of a few bad pairs. I sent them an email with pictures and they approved the warranty to get them exchanged for a better pair.

I've had the Red Dogs since the day they were released. White's told me I bought the first pair sold. They have held up very well for me. The leather has not stretched, that I can tell. I recently emailed you about a re-sole. The only discomfort that I have had with them was across the top of my foot under the leather laces. A White's false tongue solved this discomfort. I wear them all the time to walk my border collies, and they are quite comfortable. That's a good looking hat!! THANK YOU for this video!

My White's perry selects came with a big, stained blotch right in the middle of the toe box. They look horrendous. Quality control is garbage. Waiting 10 weeks for disappointment is guaranteed. They don't even bother entering a tracking number so hope for the best.

I had to return 2 pairs they were horrible the British tan leather on the front they tried to dye the leather or something but it looked like a happy face lol😂 the second pair the color tone was different literally wearing two different shoes lol. The third pair coming today they sent pics right is nearly perfect the left yeah like you it’s doable I also got them on sale. Hoping to change the sole to a black color will be contacting you soon as a get the boots today . I have redwings 1907 that also need those black soles

Those nice boots I myself own 6 pair of whites. 2 pair of packers. Actually, 4 better packers and 2 pair of smoke jumpers. One pair of smoke jumpers. I had rebuilt by Frank's. Did an awesome job and one pair of my packers are casual. Just leather bottom and one with the rubber sole and then 1 for work. But I've been buying these boots for 30 years. Only problem with whites now is that their prices are going up a lot. Don't know why but they are but with the pairs that I have. I would never have to buy another boot to rest my life. And I wear my whites 95% of the time. I wear my or pair of 4 work and 2 pair of vocabulary. Everyday

I wanted to buy this, but it was out of stock.

Can anyone tell me where my big toe should be in the toe box? Everything else fits well but I’m not sure if maybe I should get a half size smaller. There’s a thumb width between my big toe and the stitching of the toe box.

Great boots, how do they fit? True to size or did you have to size down? Great info.

White’s suggests to half a size down, that didn’t work for me I wear size 10 on RW I got the same size but had to remove the inserts. Thanks

No están nada mal, pero no son de mi gusto por ahorita Y depende cuales , tienen unas básicas y otras más caras. esas botas son para diferentes necesidades. Saludos.

Would you consider this last to be wide or narrow? I know they are offered in a wide, but so are other moc toes but I can't wear them. I am looking for a Moc Toe that is wide in the arch (not tall at the footbed but wide at the side of the boot). I always feel, even in wide sizes, that Moc toes squeeze my arches. Almost like the boot is puckered up and I am standing on the side of it. Red Wing EE is the closest fit, so far but still isn't right (10875). I've never found the 1907 in store to try. Anyway, still searching for a moc toe last that fits my foot, lol. EEE, high instep, high arch and narrow heel don't make it easy. Thanks for always posting the videos, we enjoy them in this house.

I have a pair in the distressed leather. They run large and wide. I usually wear 13.5 or 14 EE. In the Perry's I'm a 13D. I stopped by White's and bought them in person or I 100% would've ordered the wrong size.

I just got the regular Perrys on 9.5 D. I have a very wide feet on the arch so I understand what you mean. I normally wear size 10 shoes. The 9.5 was a good fit for the length but it was to tight on my wide arch. I sent them back to exchange them for a 9.5 EE. We’ll see how those fit. I’m a 10 DD on the brannock device.

Are they very heavy?

Usually this specific type of storm welt doesn’t have a finish on it, not much can be done, is not necessarily bad, and it actually protects/seals the leather from getting wet Otherwise the leather would absorb all the water, so there’s a reason for that. That’s how they get it, they didn’t paint it. Color storm welts are painted too but they look way better than the natura, I just don’t like the look. (Personal preference)

I had the original Perry and I guess they probably painted those as well, just didn’t know any better. I was the guy chatting with you on instagram a few months back about resoling the whites. I had the Monroe Heritage lace-to-toe Shinki Horsebutt boots I was trying to trade you for a resole lol

Not much you can do about that for a traditionally made made in the usa boot. Im not a fan of them increasing the price by like $50 over the past few years though
