This whole film keeps impressing me to this day. Wesley & Woody only did a crash course boot camp, to learn hoops for the sake of the shooting the scenes. And they still end up playing like veteran ballers.

gphillimo Fun fact: this actually wasn’t their first movie. They did a movie together called “Wildcats”, starring Goldie Hawn, that was released in 1986. But yes, their chemistry is terrific. Only reason to watch the otherwise atrocious “Money Train”.

The scene before this when Raymond tried to rob the store for his share and the owner knew it was him was hysterical as well. He ended up selling the owner the gun for $250 LOL!

He was never underrated, he just now semi-retired. Nobody is the top star forever, people get old and willingly step down or at least take roles that are not so taxing on their health. Bruce Willis for example. He is doing so many low budget films just to pay the bills and not looking to do the next big hit anymore like he used to. Plus people fall out of the public eye with future generations because well, they get older and young folk won't know who they are anyway nor relate to them.

Good old raymond, brilliant character in a brilliant movie, for the small part he played he absaloutly nailed it. What a great laugh of a movie to watch. 1992. Irony is that Woody Harleson played college basketball, whereas Wesley Snipes had very little experience, and they had to bring in a ringer to film some of his early basketball scenes. However, by the end of filming, Snipes had improved so much that the movie's basketball consultants said he could also play at the college level
