Спорт
The character was based on Reggie Harding. Harding was selected by the Detroit Pistons as the first player drafted into the National Basketball Association (NBA) without having played in college. However, he battled addiction to heroin his whole career.

As a 16-17 year old in Indianaoplis and a Pacer fan Reggie Harding was an anti hero! I believe he had several women he considered his mother. That is a true story!!! He was the first player to be drafted without going to college! He may not have graduated from high school and they made him wait 3 or 4 years before they let him play. Tweedy Bird was the point guard from Kokomo…Jimmy something! I guess the NBA doesn’t want to acknowledge what they consider unsavory.
