White is winning!
A big thanks to William Dolmer for finding this composition and sending it to me!
Can you find the win for white here?

That’s a nasty stalemate.
Loved the last Knight move.
You always bring the best... Excellent puzzle, thank you very much
Very nice, thanks for sharing this. 😊
2:50 well "easy" win is a bit of a stretch. Q vs. R, you have to KNOW the pattern

Indeed just encountered it a few days ago for the first time. Had to draw
Simply get the knight to f6 guarding promotion squares and preventing king from taking the pawns. I’d recommend f4 to to d5 to f6 unless black notices that then play accordingly
Solved it. The moves were all pretty obvious until the stalemate threat.

solved it nearly, but fell into the stalemate trap
Your studies have brought chess to new heights
Knight sacrifice is nice !
It makes sense that the knight had to be the first move, and it makes sense you want to block out the rook. It also makes sense you'd have to sac one of the pawns at some point given the position of the black king.
Nice one! rather easy, but not in any way simple!
This puzzle is completed by me
Really nice puzzle. You don't get many where the knight is leading the attack
Good!
Saw all of it 🎉
"take a bishop. use it sideways" ... "take a knight. use it sideways"
Elegant and not so difficult!
Got it !
For the first time ever I thought I had it figured out... :(
At 1:37, king takes e7 will lead to a queen vs rook. Not easy.

Yeah, he totally overlooked the most likely sequence in this position. It’s going to be queen vs rook, not queen and knight vs rook. Still winning for white, but, like you said, not an easy win.

If you watched the whole video queen vs rook is what white is hoping for
5:00 wouldnt underpromoting to a rook solve the stalemate problem? i rather have a rook against nothing than a queen against a rook

@@xxUrek If you promote to a rook then black will not sacrifice his rook on e5. Instead you will play with rook + knight against a rook and that is a theoretical draw only.

4:48 What should white do if Rg7?

What do you mean? White just promotes pawn to queen and wins the game. If you mean Rg7 _after_ the pawn promotion, then it’s still an easy win. There are many ways white can go about checking black from there.
4:50 if we promote to a queen blablabla

I saw all moves immediatly, mostly without thinking. This is a very easy puzzle!

One way to avoid sounding like an arrogant prick is to avoid unqualified absolutes. e.g., Instead of “This is a very easy puzzle!” try “I thought this was a very easy puzzle!” Another way to avoid sounding like an arrogant prick is to avoid exaggeration. Instead of “I saw all moves immediately” try “I saw most moves rather quickly”. Lastly, if you’re all jacked up on chess 24/7 you need to cut back immediately. Talk to normal people more. Go outdoors. Ask more questions.

Stalemate should be a loss tbh. If you can’t move you have decisively lost your military campaign, but it’s a nifty little game

Are you sure? After Kh7 white plays Nd8. How can black stop the pawn on e7 from promoting?
