WHITE COLLAR CRIME & 2008 FINANCIAL CRISIS

Jamila Davis has a life story that could be a motion picture. You may have seen her on Love & Hip Hop but her story is way deeper and digs into the depths of the financial crisis of 2008.
In the mid-2000’s, she was in the middle of the biggest economic meltdown since the Great Depression. She was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for mortgage fraud, which was more time than almost anyone on Wall Street received, even though her crime paled compared to the biggest investment firms.
Her story involves the infamous Lehman Brothers investment firm, former Republican Presidential candidate Christie, Multi-Million Dollar Estates, Superstar Entertainers, and Corruption at the highest level of finance and government. #JamilaDavis

Yup... I worked for a mortgage company around the same time , all of this is bringing back soooo many memories. Many mortgage companies were using strawbuyers.. The CIA/Feds ran up in there on us as well..They had us wearing wiretaps and everything.. Crazy# The owner only got 2 yrs tho. First time offense of only $2million.. Interesting times

@Israel Taylor that's is correct but the Feds wanted to make an example so when she did find two people that would buy back the houses so she can pay, they were threatened and told not to do the deal. What she did was wrong but what the Feds did was even worse. They was trying to prove a point but the funny thing is why did no one else get jail time or harsh sentence?

Hope she gets some good lawyer and sue them because the judge was bias and racist and they went to great lengths to give more time than the banker who did more illegal dealing than her and she didn't get a fair sentence. Plus conflict of interest and they they took over her assets were wrong as well.Hope they can reopen this and see real justice being served.
