Fish are moving daily. Depending on the weather, start at Fremont and move your way down or start at Main Street and move your way up.

They make them everywhere

You are correct. This spot was on the fox. I’ve fished the BFL for almost 7 years now and I just learned that, that specific stretch is the fox. They’ve always called that event the “wolf river chain” and i just assumed it was the wolf. Learn something new everyday - thanks.

Thanks for asking. This is in the Oshkosh area but I know winneconie and Fremont are catching them too. They are catching them all up and down the river.

How do you make these taste good and keep them from getting mushy?

Many ways to eat them. My favorite - deep fried with a tomato/ginger/onion/green onion sauce to put on top. You get crispy fish with a nice sauce.

what were you using? do you think they will still be biting around the weekend?

As long as the weather is above 45 degrees, yes. They are moving quickly however. Stay between main street and fremont. Don't fish east of main street.

Thanks for watching! I was primarily fishing in two spots the other day. This spot in the video is right across from the college (UWO). You can park in any of the small business parking lots and walk a few feet to the river.

Hey John! This spot in the video was on the fox river. Right now, they are biting anywhere between the Main Street bridge and Fremont. Anywhere you go, you should catch them! Weather just has to be half decent.

@@ChewyThaoFishing we went not too long ago and were skunked people taking spots and was very windy in one spot. The packed spot was rainbow park . But thanks I will try that spot next time but its raining that weekend.
