They are excellent questions Jim, we did actually do 75 minutes of interviewing but we didnt ask those questions. We’ll be releasing the full interviews in October to coincide with the next festival. I’ll be asking those questions at the next one! 👍

We watched it together in the big screen downstairs and 5 minutes in Mrs Metalman said "Hey I have not seen you, have you been upsetting people again" lol! I said they were there both days, so we made a guest appearance on day two :o). I always enjoy seeing how someone else records the same day and their take on it and we still have Pauls to come yet too. I thought it looked busier in Sunday to be honest but I just loved the day, the people, the vibe and the company, so much fun and despite the forecast, it even kept dry for us too. I thought you did a great job on the interviews, which flowed very smoothly and brilliant that people recognised you both from previous years too. Thanks so much for the invite, cheers Alan

oh thank you so much Alan. this one wiped us out we got 75 minutes of great, in depth interviews to be fair. and thats beyond our wonderful, super enjoyable collab. took everything to downsize it to the video it us now. but we have a master plan.. the friday of the october goth festival will be the release of the uncut interviews. im glad you broke the york curse, the goths are lovely, ive grown up,with it being a thing, loved the music, the girls and the culture ever since . look forward to meeting up with you in October and doing it all again in style. we still have that lottery ticket to check. fish and chips, full on cod, and us dressed as the best goths ever.. ok i need a few numbers… 🙏

There were some amazing Goth costumes and personalities in this film. Didn’t go much on the first gate of the week (you should never have a metal gate), but the second one was truly mesmerising. yes we met them on the Saturday night when we got our hats. thought id put a sneaky clue in. once again your ears would have been burning as we both spoke of our love for your channel.

Great drive as you arrive into the town. Free parking! Wow the viaduct is really nice. Love the history you talked about. I enjoyed the lady dressed in red with her doggie. Thank you 🤗 it started with just a group of friends meeting in a pub then they decided to do it every year, each year more and more people joined until it took off so well they now hold 2 events a year! The original is October close to Halloween due to the connection with Bram Stokers Dracula and is the busiest but this was the April one! Have a great week ahead 👍❤️

Good spot Debs, that walking painting was a contestant on Britains Got Talent two weeks ago. He got two buzzes but he is funny to see in person. Yes these goths are wonderful characters, great to talk to. We actually have 75 minutes of conversations with them that we will be releasing in time for the October Festival. We would love to see you up North but the drinks and meals will not be on you! Our channel will be changing dramatically soon. We are phasing out of hiking, given that we can’t visit more than a dozen new hikes a year and we will be cementing ourselves much mire firmly into travel, tourism and events. But we’ll retain the silliness of course! Cheeky checko! 😂 have an awesome weekend! ❤

yes he’s quite a character, he was the person that had the cage and air cannons blowing foam at the steam punk festival in February. i wonder what he will come up with next? yes out of all of us Alan Metalman blended in to the goths quite well. have an awesome weekend! 👍

Wow Whitby is such a great town ... loved the route in you guys took & that viaduct is superb. It looked a bit busy for me on this weekend, but you know what, it was full of fun, fascinating, friendly people that made all the difference. Wonderful outfits that everyone had put together and great that so many people were happy to stop & chat to you "normal" guys (joking hahaha) Nice to meet up with the other youtubers and have a fun filled day together ... pleased you fitted in time for the chips 😃😊

The chips were a rare treat, thoroughly enjoyed them! yes the thought of a busy Goth weekend just two years ago would send shivers down anyones spine. look how far we have all come. we’ve always visited Whitby on Goth Festivals, enjoyed the fascinating sights and stealthily took photos if somebody was already posing for someone else. its just wonderful that in such a short period we can now get to stop and talk to these wonderful people, we’ve met some fantastic people who we can’t wait to see again and again! its a great route to take vantage of parking and facilities, but the more we reveal the spot the further. away we seem to have to park! hope your having an awesome weekend, im imagining you off in the fells where we would love to be over anywhere else! 👍

Wow you guys are absolute legends. After working up to our mammoth kinder day, we had back to back 6 mile hikes into whitby followed by a one and a half mile walk to our local shop today. You are the best leg ends ever, truly inspirational. On that note my mate took a bird on a double date with me to see the tom cruise film Legend at the pictures, we were all 15 at the time, my bird was a bit stuck up, but his asked him “why is it called Leg End?” I was super jealous, knew id pulled the more serious bird.. true story ♥️

Lol, it was never to be, maybe my mate slipped 12” into the bird that asked about the leg end? I could never tell you what happened to tom cruise in Legend! I do know it was lessons learned, always favour the dippy bird for good times! 😂😂

Great video. Really enjoyed that. Some fabulous costumes. You can tell people really get into the weekend. Looked like another success 👍 No steam train tho...boo

there was one in the far off distance, i suspect Kim might have some good footage of that with her zoom lens. it certainly was a great weekend! not hermit friendly although few venture out to the East Pier! have an awesome weekend and thanks for the wonderful support at the prem 👍

Ah guys, we loved this. We love Whitby so much after our visit last year. We’d love to attend this one year. Powering in that history there guys! Oo it was good to see in the Pavilion as it was closed on our visit. Hi Garry! Goth dog, amazing! Make that dogs!! Chico is a star! The guy on the dinosaur - brilliant. Our pub!!!! Love it. Wow someone from Thailand! Amazing. And Lithuania! Looks like such a friendly event. Frankie is bloody freaky! What a fun day. Ooo a KZread meet up! We know who this is!! Such a great meet up! Watto is a natural swooper! Love how you met so many people you’ve met before, you’re becoming famous guys! So glad you all got chips! You got Watto and Kim up the 199 steps - amazing work! Looks like you all had great fun. Great video - wow is it really a year since bluebell videos!! That’s gone quick!!! Fab as always!!! Cheers 🍻

ah thank you so much guys. sorry to hear the Pavilion was closed on your visit. would love you to visit at steampunk/goth/regatta/fish&ships times. its a very different and mental Whitby that you would experience. yes the 199 steps were great, think Paul and Kim were inspired by the very spritely 67 year old Alan Metalman, we cant take any credit for getting them to the top. that being said we got to meet them a few times on their stay here. lovely couple. im sure we will all meet many times again, we all hold you in the highest regard. we wont be doing bluebells this year. think we have videos covered now till mid June at that point we are taking a massive step into travel/tourism videos. hikes? there will be a dozen a year. tourism/travel/events? thats us now. hiking has us exhausted! we will DM. you with the latest from Enzo. mega love xx

I bet they enjoy showing off their fabulous outfits on your channel!!! That teddy bear looked super scary!!! Yorkshire is just full of so many awesome gems! Sending a wave to Watto and Kim. Boo hi guys .this one had a bit of everything guys some great little edits and a great twist half way through meeting watto .that was brilliant the way you done that.there was some great interaction with the goths and the audio on that was spot on could hear everything you and they were saying.have a great long weekend and speak soonxxx

brilliant, thank you Simon, got a good 75 minutes of interviews with the goths that we’ll probably release on the friday before the October Goth Festival. im pretty sure the mask man was in that pavilion, or maybe it was one of his clones? have an awesome weekend! 👍

Absolutely, they wouldn’t thank you for dressing them up. The cat we lost last year used to refuse to walk forwards if we dressed him up.
