This is such good stuff. Too bad there are so many albums from back in the day that never got transferred to digital. Some are lost forever but some make it and are enjoyed on channels like this.

I got a turntable from marketplace and a phono section stereo receiver from salvation army recently for just this reason. Easy Listening records are pretty easy to find on the cheap compared to a lot of stuff. I even found my boy Norman Luboff in three different stores in a single day while out thrifting. I've also found out that you can get a phono to mp3 pretty reasonably priced; so I might upload some rare E-L albums here someday if I get one.

No man, digital's got no soul! 😉I bought a refurbished 1954 Color Tone Stereophonic Record player with a tube amplifier. It creates a whole sensory experience. Hearing the turntable spin ever so gently, the light barely distinguishable hum from the old technology, the smell of old dust cooking and the radiant heat as those tubes start glowing. Then there's the dropping of the needle and the old character....aka-scratches- of the vinyl itself. These are to be cherished!! But I do get what you're saying about digital so we can take it on the go😊

Pasar el vinilo analógico a digital es la peor decisión que puede tomar, ya que se pierde parte del espectro acústico (la octava superior y la octava inferior) que son las que le dan viveza y naturalidad a la musica. Si convierten analógico a digital lo único que conseguirán es una música fría y sin alma. Saludos.
