Sitting in a rocking chair in the dark, next to my Mom's bed in her room. She has dementia now for 9 years and is now coming into the final leg of her journey. Music has been her life. A classically train vocalist and pianist, she also taught music to thousands of children over the course of her life as a school teacher. As I type this she is releasing into a deep sleep with gentle snores..... this ... and the music coming from my phone here is what soothes our souls. Unlikely given this music.

I had Achilles tendon surgery yesterday. Am in the hospital and then to rehab. Every two hours or so someone comes in my room (blood draw, meds, etc. ) listening to this channel may not help me get to sleep, but it does help me relax! Good night all. And for the first post I read, the person with their mother, enjoy these last moments with her. They will sustain you when she’s gone. God bless you!

My father loved classical music he passed 18 months ago from Parkinson’s and Lew Body Dementia. I inherited his love of classical music. When I am stressed, depressed or thinking about him this is my calming down music. Also wonderful for sleeping or walking in the rain wrapped up warmly

i too am sorry for your loss 😢 my father died years ago, he was 95 and had ptsd since his stitch during world war 2 he wasn’t the greatest father but he. always told us that he loved Us and didn’t abuse us i still think of him all time 😂 missing my dad

I'm sitting here listening to this beautiful notes put together by some genius.. rubbing my 82 year old Father's back. He's very ill, very underweight and frail. Music really helps him rest...I pray I'm permitted more moments together with him. Mother is gone 9 years already, seems like yesterday she was here but the heartache and empty house no longer a home reminds us of her absence. 😢 I know the moment is near when they will reunite again... Goid Bless everyone and enjoy your parents and family every moment you can.

Thanks to my mother, I studied classical music. Both piano, violin and voice. To hear these melodic tunes takes me to beautiful places of times past and wonderful places of my future journey.

I'm playing this because my dog has been having nightmares tonight as she is growling and whimpering and breathing roughly , she woke up a few times while I was on my game so I hoped off and looked up what can help my dog nightmares or something like that and it said classical music she is now sleeping a lot better as her breathing got calmer and she is sleeping really quiet. [she has separation anxiety ] so thank you to the person who made this my dog was able to sleep peacefully

When my 16 year service dog was in his final journey, to bring his comfort, I would play classical piano music to help in sleep at night. He was in so much pain that it seem this and CBD oil were the only things that have him rest. He passed on April 1st, 2021. My Ziggy went home. He was a Chow. Best service dog and friend I ever had!!

I read once in an expert journal that dogs don’t dream, similar to the one that said they can’t see what’s on the TV screen. Scientists may have put an American flag on the moon six times but they have some real shortcomings when it comes to dogs.

Same, my daughter is 6weeks old and a little too stuck on her pacifier/dummy, Im taking it off her and trying to help her relax a little without it. She was born poorly and had feeding issues so the hospital recommended it initially-as it helps her sucking muscles. But now it seems she's hooked. I really appreciate this vid

i was writing and messed up oops! anyhow i never Thought of music for my dog, he used to be sleeping and shake violently , if i had only thought of soft classical he would shake when he was sound asleep. he was 17 when passed on . his name was wilbur And was a large dog. i miss him a lot i love him so

My father passed away several years ago and we were not very close but my father loved classical music. He would listen to his music often and would tell me how amazing it sounded and I think it gave him peace in his otherwise traumatic life. Anyways after his passing my son who didn't know grandpa all that well because my son was to young started requesting classical music to fall asleep to not knowing that was my father's favorite music. I was blown away and told my son that his grandpa loved this music and would be thrilled if he knew his grandson was enjoying this music as well. Anyways just wanted to share this because this music reminds me of my son and my dad. And that holds a special place in my heart.

We love this music so much

Thank you I have a very horrible home life during the night is the only time I get to relax so thank you for this music it is very beautiful and helps me have a peaceful night love you so much (January 3 2023)

Today is the third anniversary of this beautiful video . . . Aug 28, 2022!

My big Labrador is terrified of fireworks and it is July 4th. He is cuddled up to the speaker while this plays. Thank you. It is very soothing to him. 💕

This has got to be the best compilation of classical music I have ever come across.

This is honestly something I stumbled upon, most nights I cannot sleep, but if ever feel the need to, I may listen for an hour maybe less. But this set always puts me to sleep and keeps me asleep. It's genuinely such a blessing. I give massive props to you for creating such a stimulating but not too overwhelming list of classical music.

My boyfriend and I had a rough emotional night, and we can't be together to hold each other to sleep and remind it will be okay, but this music helps a bit. I play the piano and he was in orchestra, and this music is comforting for me.

I was playing this for my hamster, Amadeus, as she went to sleep for the last time. It was so calming and I like to think it made things easier for her. Sincerely, thank you for the music.

i hope you read this. i left an abusive relationship little over a year ago and am much better for it. i thought i could read people better than that, but he treated me so well in the beginning so i thought he a good guy. what a joke on me he never hit me , just called me horrible things and mentally emosionally beat me down constantly. he had me beleving that my family hated me and tried to get me to do some awful things! he also made me feel bad for him. i finally gave him an ultimatom if ever did anything to me again that iwould leave him. two days later he started up again so i was out the door! i went to be with my daughter and he called me. asked me when i was coming home! isaid never! you should have heard him blow up! my daughter heard the whole conversation and we both laughed so hard. he called once more to ask for money. what a total jerk! i told my daughter to change her number but she said it didn’t bother her. i still wish shewould. i have my own cell phone and he has no idea. well enough of my world. thanyou so very much for your encouragement, i hope this life is bringing you much happiness! love you cindy

Once ya get to a certain age, sleep becomes a precious commodity.

It is absolute Godly. I can not stop listening. It calms me down and make life wothy. Heavenly music - relaxing but also "stimulates" my dreams - I am flying high in the air. God bless you all. 🎚❤🎶🎶🎶🎶

My 6 week old daughter was born poorly and had feeding issues so the hospital recommended a pacifier/dummy in her treatment course to help her sucking muscles.. Now she's all better she's a little too stuck-on her pacifier/dummy and cries without it, trying to help her go without it increasingly and this music helps soothe her in part (along with the usual singing/rocking/toys/love and kisses). Thankyou for helping little Freya.. 🌈

I used this today for the first time to help me sleep and it worked wonderfully! Sadly I have chronic health issue's and got woken by a coughing fit but at least I get the pleasure off listening twice in one night 😁

I always put this on when I take a nap on the sofa with our dog in the living room. It was a ritual of sorts for us, with Clair de Lune being a sort of signal that it's time for sleep. We said goodbye to him last week and had this playing while waiting for the sedatives to take effect. I'll never forget all the good naps we've had to this playlist, up until the very last one.

i’m sorry, i lost mine 6 months ago and he was only 4. I miss him still, im glad we could give him such a good life for what it was.

I love to listen to this on my phone laying down by my wife's side with our little dog next to us while playing a rain relaxation video on our flat screen absolutely soothing.I joke around and call us the bed heads because there's no place I'd rather be then here enjoying these moments.The best things in Life are the simple ones, Love, companionship, music and rain "prayers & peace to Everyone out there who's pursuits are driven by kindness, compassion and upliftment to all 👩‍❤️‍👨🐶

I know this playist says it's for sleeping, but it helps me so much when I study. For some reason, it helps me focus, and that has been monumental. It just soothes my mind and keeps my subconscious from wandering. Those disruptive thoughts are held at bay. I can't appreciate this collection of music and they who put it together enough. Thank you.

Grateful for this beautiful playlist - my 11 year old son is hooked on it and loves listening to it at bedtime - he says it relaxes him like nothing else 😍🙏🏼

i find classical piano to be my favorite genre throughout all the instruments. such presence fills you with so much emotions. it’s one of the greatest beauties of the piano and why i love it soooo much

I would like to thank you for this beautiful playlist. I would listen to this at night with my beautiful sweet little dog. He was like a child to me 13 years. I was lucky enough to have him his entire life! He got sick not long ago. I played this for him and held him as he passed from this life. I wanted to ease any fear by playing this again and he could sleep peacefully for the last time. I’ll forever love him! 🥺❤ My angel.

It says for sleeping, but it is good for working at the computer, which I am doing as I type this. It is good for concentrating, relaxing, reading--and with a hot cup of tea! or just need something in the background.

I love this classical music, but I don't listen to it while sleeping. I listen to it while studying!

Man this is just spot on! The first song I just want to say that I really hope I get to learn it on my harp cause it is just beautiful! I just love all this music and classical music just hits me in a different way than any other music. This is really special to hear from a 14 year old. Cause I am one who truly appreciates classical music.
