JAK MR DR BADGER 529 or “Whiskey” is an awesome 6-year-old gelding that works hard and tries to please. He takes new things in stride and typically is good at everything you ask of him. He has been ridden in the arena and around the ranch, gathering, roping, and sorting cattle. Whiskey has a nice big walk, trot and lope, with the speed to catch a fast steer without getting bothered. He has a good mind and attitude, and has handled things such as roping bulls, skijoring, and branding nicely. He has headed steers out of the box as well as dragged calves to the fire and does well at both. He pulls a rope as hard as any horse on the ranch. Whiskey has a nice feel about him with good sensitivity to the reins and legs, a soft mouth and body, and has never been ridden by kids. He is a good one.
