Watch me use an old oak whiskey barrel to make wall decor for a home bar, man cave, or she shed. These are heavily charred on the inside for a smoky flavor for the whisky and smell great. I wanted to show off the char, so I alternated each stave. I didn't put a finish on this as any oil flattened the contrast of the band marks and the distressed wood.
My only expenses were 2 sizes of truss screws and the barrel I got for free.
