Ah yes! :D I remember this one. This was waaaaay too funny, when the drum started going walkabout in the garden. :D All that space (ok, its walkabout was limited by the length of the power cord :D) and the motor STILL managed to find some metal and have a right good old grind-up at the end. :D Thanxx for showing, -BoomBoxDeluxe. _6th September 2014, 16.03_

***** Hi. When I said 'walkabout in the garden', I was making reference to this video. What is shown in this vid, is the lead-up to the washing machine which went absolutely loopy, broke free from its casing and even then......it kept on going and the drum assembly (while still powered-up and spinning!) went for a walkabout around Aussie50's garden. :D -BoomBoxDeluxe.

It's always nice to see a Whirlpool die, cheap and nasty junk they are... :P Couldn't do this to my Creda though (built on the old 80's Hotpoint WM series designs, stupidly reliable they are!!), even though it's spider broke recently, it was easy (in a pain in the arse way) to fix and put back into service, but a whirlpool, nah, they're built to be destroyed, along with the unreliable modern Indeshit-Hotpoints... :D

As far as I'm aware, the only difference between a 95 and a WM series is the timer boards were re-done to provide a smoother wash action (ramping up the motor rather than just a solid On/Off state), aswell as a few other tweaks, but that said my Creda dropped it's lower weight a couple years back and shook itself to bits (and I wasn't around to watch the mess happen!!!), so I got a Hotpoint WM53 to replace it, same stuff on the inside, so I have plenty of parts to keep it going... :)
