I think the noise she might be referring to is the sensor.

Your comment that "this washer is so interesting" made me laugh out loud. I just purchased a new machine myself and will have to adjust to the new way of doing laundry. I'm just going to load it up, turn it on and let it run and try to remember that it isn't going to act or sound like my previous 17 year old washer. We're at their mercy, aren't we? Thanks for the video. Now I won't feel compelled to stand by my washer during the complete cycle.😄

Sounds like it’s using a lot of water..i like that at least I know it’s getting clean. Just wish we could see inside.

I own the same wahser wnd dryer. They are the weirdest ones I've ever owned. They make weird nosies and do the strangest things. For goodness sake, unless you dont want to have a heart attack, turn the dryer signal off. It's painfully loud. However, I must say that once I finally figured out how to operate them properly, they do perform pretty well. The washer does a good job of getting everything clean. I only wish it spun out better. I got spoiled with my previous front loader.

Also, if you add a dry article of clothing or dry towel to the wet laundry it helps dry it much faster.

Does your machine agitate for a while then pause and agitate once every 6 seconds - for about 1 minute then resumes "normal" agitation or does it just maintain the same consistent agitation for the entire cycle?

Hello! How long have you had this washing machine, if I might ask? Any major problems or repairs you've needed to do? I just got this model today from Best Buy. It was the store's display model, marked down to $375, which wasn't too bad. It gets delivered on Saturday, so I haven't used it yet. The washing machine I have now is on the fritz... It's the WTW5000DW1, and the transmission is going out, which is about a $400+ repair... It has an impeller, (which is the flat ribbed wash plate in the bottom), and it doesn't really get aggressive stains out. Kinda just tosses soap around and gets the clothes somewhat cleaned. I really do love the machine, but I have to let it go. 😢 For my new one, I really wanted it to have an agitator, and the newest model from Whirlpool with the "removable agitator" seems like an experiment to me. I don't think customers are gonna like it. Just looks cheap, and so far, a lot of people are having trouble with them. I hope I made the right choice by buying a new machine (specifically this one), and not repairing my current machine. I appreciate any response! 😊

Does this machine vibrates or shakes a little when it gets to the drain and spin part?

@@KathyMLifestyle omg thanks for the instant reply. When I first got my washer yesterday I first ran a sanitize cycle to clean it, mindful no clothes in it. Shaking was going on. Adjusted the feet still shaking but a little less with a load. I’m out of options. Don’t know if that’s normal but I don’t like how my hoses shakes with it.

I just got a new one similar to this. It shakes too much. Shakes even with small items, small balanced loads. I was looking for a simple solution, but may just take it back to Lowes. Mine clicks too loud also but not as much.

@@DaveV-jr4mx if it’s more than two days you purchased it from Lowe’s they will not replace it. I had a hassle with mines. I had to call whirlpool and put in an work order and they said they will send someone out to fix it free of charge. Still under warranty with whirlpool. So you might have to do the same and call whirlpool. I was pissed a brand new washer 2 days old giving me problems and I couldn’t get it replaced.

@@KathyMLifestyleThank you for making this video. You literally just saved me 500 plus dollars thinking my exact washer was messed up. I would always hit start and shut door and never pay attention to it. One day it was cold and I was making sure lines wasn’t froze and it was going to work and kept making same noise and wouldn’t go past sensing after 3-4 mins which I thought was messed up. Haven’t had a washer in about a month thinking it was messed up. Replaced shift actuator and checked inlet valve and belt looked good thinking maybe the control board was messed up and was ready to buy a new washer. Literally just tried it this morning and it took about 9 mins and it worked. THANK YOU and so glad I came across your video as I’ve watched countless videos trying to figure it out and haven’t seen a video that recorded the sensing and how long it took to go to wash.
