What did you search to make sure you got the right one?

Trying to do this on a different model. It seems to be very similar but there are no screws to get to where the board would be. It looks like I could possibly pry it open but didn’t want to break it. Any idea? I can always send a pic if that would help. Thank you!

Well, I was actually trying to find a site that actually troubleshoots the pc board, not just replacing it. I want to repair the pc board at the component level. Great video for those just wanting to change the components, though. Goood job!

I have a Whirlpool Conquest model number DU960PWKQ1 and I have no blinking LED light at all, no light. What is the most likely cause of my problem? I can see the icemaker move, "the little white arms" but no ice and no light. PLEASE HELP!!! thank you....

hotengo el problema que no fabrica hielo ya cheque las warer inlet valve y no llega energia electrica a la bobina del llenador del ice marker cheque el micro switch y este esta en buenas condiciones pero sigue sin señal a la bobina, ahora pienso que podria ser elice level optical que este defectuoso ya que emite una luz roja, esto hace que no llegue la electricidad a la bobina de inlet??? necesito su ayuda

I have Kenmore model 106.56666501 and the ice level emitter receiver board is listed at $143 on the genuine replacement part website. Is that a reasonable price? On Kenmore's site the part number is EAP10064583 and it is $236 on their site. Is there a generic part number that would be equivalent to the Kenmore part number for a better price

Well planned and professional video. This wasn't my refrigerator and I have an issue where my ice maker won't fill the ice bin in 3 days, like Whirlpool suggest to wait. It won't fill it in 7 days. I had a SAMSUNG that's in the garage that had a unknown to me and service manual that has 3 levels of ice production. There was wintertime little old lady speed (LIKE MINE), medium for two people during the winter, and high, summertime family of six full tumblers of ice ALWAYS. But nobody I ask knows of this feature. The adjustment starts by holding one of the buttons on exterior of door for ten seconds and you can reprogram ice maker speed. PLEASE, somebody help me. My ice level won't go above the agitator in bottom of ice bucket, in the winter time. But ice cubes are perfect form. WHIRLPOOL, Side by Side MOD.WRS325FDAW02 SER. HR444 15499 MFG. DATE/ 11 - 14 TYPE 25 MSSA

I figured it out. The manual said only this: dial for temperature can only get freezer so cold. So I slept on it and wondered why is there a recommended setting on dial and why does it adjust in 3 clicks? Granny by herself mode, winter mode, Ice cubes for ice water constantly and drop a couple always. I maxed it this morning and bucket filled by 8PM...

My ice maker don’t stop the water in for fill

if you need to watch this video for help, you should not be handling tools.
