I had an issue with my Whirlpool Washer Duet Model Number WFW96HEAC0. The washer was making a horrible banging noise and scraping noise when the machine is running. I found a bolt that holds the rotor on for the motor broke and the rotor was coming off the drum shaft scraping the inside of the plastic wash tub.
