Oof, thanks for letting me know. This thing came pre-built and wasn't entirely correct. I fixed a few things but must have missed the wheels. Thanks for letting me know, that'll be fixed in the full review.

The legacy charger is just a little too chonky in the front for me. The main gimmicky play feature is wildly improved, but I don't think that gives a reason to add on extra pieces just to make the build bulkier.

The new one is a good, but it's kinda just another huge car.

I had the original and remember taking it to an event with my dad. The remake is nostalgic and good. I WANT IT!

the new one is just better, even with the nostalgia factor and everything, I just can’t say the old one is better

I love your comparison videos

While there are many reasons to like the original more (i'm talking about all the legacy sets as a whole), one reason i've chosen the legacy sets over the newer one even if inferior in features and whatnot, are the absolute killer designs. The aesthetic for each main build is so strong, as if it popped out of a artist sketchbook. I love the new zane mech even with some of it's problems as the design is heavily inspired of some of the best looking mechs. This car has a feeling of cyberpunk and very stylish Japanese feel. I can't name any of these 'art styles' but if you look around a bit, you'll see what I mean. I appreciate the more artistic approach they're taking with the builds.

The old one is one of my favorite sets of all time. Had so much fun playing with it. Definitly wins for me.

The old one wins for me. The parts use is very creative, and the back engine turning into a very articulate turret is cool and completely absent from the new one sadly. Crazy how BOTH of Kai's Rebooted Legacy sets really aren't such huge improvements over the originals, and in my opinion two of the weakest Legacy sets.

Preach! I was scared nobody else shared my opinion. I feel like lego thinks bigger is better. Why?! The Kai fighter was sleek but now it's bulky. The old X1 was creatively built . The new X1 charger is smoother and longer and totally kills the personality. The Earth driller is the greatest Legacy vehicle to me, puts the old one to shame.

Kai’s 2021 X1 Ninja Charger looks similar to Lloyd’s night crawler. But nice review.

The blue part at the front of the og one is actually show accurate if I remember correctly.

I like the shaping of the old one better, but the new one appears to be more sturdy and complete. Also I wish the cockpit/cab was pushed forward a little more on the 2021 model.

The thing that is funny to me is that the wheels are like 3/4 as tall as the actual minifig...

Same I discovered that if I kinda spread the car it works better but it's not smooth

i did modify the new x-1 a bit, and it looks soooo much better

I got the legacy x-1 and it’s coming in soon and I’m SUPER DUPER excited 😝

love the set i am gonna get every season 14 set and all legacy sets me favariote legacy set is the x1 charger and my favoirte season 14 set is the kai set where he is in a boat or somthing and the one where kai vs a skelton

Hey there’s something up with my x1, if anyone can help it’ll be appreciated. When I use the mechanism to launch the bike from the x1 it barely makes any distance if not any. I’ve dismantled it many times and rebuilt it to still have the same outcome. If anybody can help that’ll be highly appreciated (I mean the legacy model)

I made a video review of the set of you want to watch that but basically (this is going to be a bad explanation sorry) when you open up the top to launch the bike you put your fingers on the left and right inside of it where the bike is going to glide through and you just kind of stretch/ pull them a bit. Don’t put too much force into it otherwise the pieces could snap. But after about 10 seconds I launched the bike and it shot out! Hope this helps there is a visual depiction if you look on my video.

I prefer the original, it hides the features better and pulls off the high speed chase vehicle style that it’s famous for.

I'll save everyone the trouble - NEW ONES BETTER.

So I'm having issues with the launching mechanism and I don't know why because I followed every step this is the new set btw

Legacy one has weird front bumper and looks more like a race car than a ninja vechicle

Where's the review for the old one

i slightly prefer the squarish boxy shape of the original, but this new one sleek and like a cool hot rod looks really good and refined i wish it had a little less black but it definitely is one of i want

I just wonder If they ever are planning to make Legacy Ninja DB X as well?

I had this set a few years ago, don't know what happened to it, but it was amazing. I think the original is better, but that's my personal opinion.

I’d love to see the new one in the show as the finished model since they said the original was a prototype but I doubt the new one will be in the show

Your x-1 charger was significantly cleaner and less dusty than how 7 year old me took care of it ;w;

I have one problem with both of them they don't fly far my custom can

I always thought the old one was one of my coolest looking cars but when you put it next to the new one it doesn't look as good XD Its kind of like the new milenium falcon, the old one looked perfect until you see the new one then it looks outdated

the first one got better features but the new one got a better design in my opinion but theyre both great since those are my fav sets of all time

I had the OG ninja charger, but I didn’t like it because it was hard to move because of the bike. And I didn’t like the fact that some pieces were sticking out

I like the back and the front lights of the old one better but the rest I prefer the new one

I like both X-1 ninja chargers

The old ninja charger is better imo because it has more detailed flames and it has more curves

my main gripe with the new one is the turret

I LOVE the x1 ninja charger, but the legacy version ( although flawed) is MUCH better than the original. The only thing I don't like about the legacy one, is that the back looks awful but luckily I was able to upgrade it.

I have the 2014 version and I think its better because its cooler and has more accessories

U make me want this more but i still not gonna even though kai is my fav ninja but i have the kai fighter and i really want golden kai and golden cole is my least fav and kai , jay and the nindroids i gonna have from toe (the nindroids i have from the kai fighter)

I don't remember if the original one from the show had handles either. But I like both these, though the design of the Legacy is a real remake and done well. The bikes, meh.

I modded it and replaced the pieces, added a ball joint on the turret for more free movement and modded the back.

new also it my 2 fauvourite set in the world first is lloyd nightcrawler so plz make a review
