@@will.g9277 It probably will help a lot. You'd be surprised how helpful being able to cycle anywhere and being able to start a walk from your front door does for your health (Especially later in life, my grandfather still walks to Spain every year. We live in the Netherlands).

Red Texas or deep blue California, neither of them have anything substantial. Differnce is Texas doesn't pretend, they just straight up say no. California on the other hand has been lying for years while they do nothing but siphon dollars and line their pockets. Just a few more millions, just a few more years, just a few more seats, we just need more votes, and when people start asking questions about the money and why its been so long with so little progress, instead of being honest and owing up to their constituents about what they've been doing they just blame some one else. Anyone they already hate, and anyone they already want to damage. It's this person's fault, or it's this and that. in regards to the solar eclipse... its a cosmic coinkidink that the Sun is 400x farther from the Earth than the Moon... but the Moon is also 400x smaller than the Sun, and since the Moon has been getting closer and closer for millenia its only been in the last million years or so that this has been a noticeable thing, and eventually it will stop happening (granted it will still be partial eclipses til the time when the Sun swallows up the Earth at the end of its life).
