Knight Optimus Prime looks jacked ngl

Prime/base mode is more suitable for long-range weapons style fighting while knight mode is for close up combat and is obviously stronger seeing he have more strength feats than Base prime

Knight mode is the strongest Optimus form in all of movies and he would actually beat Jetpower and Jetpack modes for multiple reasons. One, Knight mode has extremely good armor which was never seen to be crumbling or heavily damaged. Jetpower and Jeypack modes are very fragile and they lose parts everytime they get hit. Second, Knight mode is more bulky and has way more 'muscles' than Jet modes, but he also has the same speed, which if they fight, they would be equal in speed, but Knight mode would deal more damage to Jet mode than Jet mode to Knight. Jet mode won't even damage to Knight mode since his weapons aren't really strong unlike Knights modes. Third of, Knight Optimus still has brawler weapons like his Mega striker and gun shield and his shotgun. Last of, his knight mode is his true form, which makes him the most powerful version of himself in the movies.

I agree about the JetFire-Pack stuff, but both his Prime and Knight Modes still have to be close in power. If Optimus was indeed built as a Knight (which is likely) then that means that at some point he opted to turn into his Prime Mode on Cybertron. So they have to be close in power because it would be illogical for Optimus Prime to switch to a weaker state on purpose. I still think Knight Mode is slightly stronger though.

Since G1 Prime wasnt an option i will say Prime mode

I imagine Prime Mode is better in Wars because he opted for that Mode during the War on Cybertron and in 2007. But Knight Mode is better in direct combat and is also still good during a War. Both of the Modes have to be around the same though because it wouldn't make sense for Optimus to downgrade. I do think Knight Mode still has an edge though for the reasons you just listed. Except I think they are about equal in physical strength.

@@prime_bits Agreed, they are both equal in strength but I think you should make a video about who has the better fighting style or technique between the two modes because strength doesn't equal to a more effective fighting style and depends on how each mode is creative and in the end decide which is a more flexible and formidable fighter among the two.

@@ReverseMeOptimus I probably will, I do think Knight Mode Optimus does have a better fighting style than his Prime Mode. We saw Sentinel obliterate Optimus towards the end of their fight in TF3. And Sentinel had a sword and shield. I think Optimus took one final lesson from Sentinel and adapted a similar fighting style since it was so effective. I really think Optimus's fight with Sentinel really changed the way Optimus thought.

@@prime_bitsI think another reason why he opted to prime mode in TF1-3 was coz he didn’t had the sword of judgement and shield at that time which makes sense coz his knight mode was meant for a specific combat style that would only be complete with both the sword and shield especially since his energy weapons are weaker it probably would’ve been a disadvantage for his knight mode. The sword and shield may have also been designed for that combat style too so I think with any other weapon probably wouldn’t feel right in his knight mode

@@thebeast-op7yi Well, I some what agree. He switched to his Knight Form in AOE before he got the "Sword of Judgment". The "Sword of Judgment" is a better weapon than his Energon Swords, but he still switched back to his Knight Form before he knew Lockdown had his sword. I just think he figured out that his Knight body is a much more optimal body for combat.

Knight mode is the superior of the 2 It’s stronger physically, being able to kick knight megatron through a cybertronian metal wall with minimal effort while prime mode could only kick the much lighter starscream a few meters away He’s faster and more agile due to his more streamlined body As for weapons, Knight’s main weapons are the sword of judgment and shield but not only does the shield double as an ion blaster but he also has a small shotgun that he can deploy from his arms, the main weapons of prime mode the energon blades were actually originally part of the knight arsenal and we see them used in the battle against galvatron on the highway, they were lost that day, the right arm mounted one being destroyed by galvatron in the fight while his left arm mounted one was striped from him by the cage lockdown threw him in on the knight’s temanos which is also how Optimus lost his fusion cannon that he had during the raid on KSI While prime mode required the jet pack segment of his trailer, knight mode has hidden thrusters on his back and his legs Knight mode is just the better of the 2

Well, I somewhat agree. His Prime and Knight Modes have to be close in power simply because it would be illogical for Optimus to switch to a weaker state on purpose. If Optimus's Knight Mode was that much more powerful, he would have been in his Knight Mode the whole time. Not only in 2007, but also during the War on Cybertron. I still think Knight Mode is slightly superior though due to being slightly more agile and the ability to fly (without extra equipment).

I like the Knight design, I feel like most things in the Bayverse, it is over-hated. For some reason, I really like Evasion Mode Optimus Prime's design, that is probably my favorite. But I still love the Knight design, but I also like all of his designs😂.

Knight next question

I think that Prime mode is also the same strong as Iacon mode. The only difference is his Atoms structure that his t-cog change every atom every molecule in his body for new knight looking shapes so when his all matter was more close together in humanoid looking armor and not sticking vehicle parts like doors or windows on his chest or wheels on his legs so he can now in knight form survive more attacks because all vehicle parts are now closer together and not like in Prime mode.

In knight mode u forgot that his shield was also a gun and his arm gun and arm sword

I would say both are powerful but I would lean more into knight Optimus for his strength since he was able to swat grimlock who weighs 850 tons and is more durable than the original trilogy Optimus.

He can only carry so many weapons though. He couldn't just run away and grab another weapon from his trailer mid fight. At the end of DOTM, Optimus was able to carry an "ion blaster", "Dual Energon Swords", "Energon Axe", and that is all unless his spike knuckles count. And in TF5 Optimus has "Sword of Judgment", "Shield", at least one metal wrist sword, and 1 Shotgun maybe 2. So they both have similar arsenals but Knight Modes weapons are much higher in quality.

Knight mode Optimus without a doubt is stronger, but i like the prime mode way more. If you look at that form, you can somewhat make out what he transforms into. You can see his 6 wheels, semi truck like exhaust pipes and the big square like windows. Whereas on Knight mode, you can only make out the exhaust pipes. Apart from that there are no clear indicators of what he transforms into. In other words, he doesn't look that much like a traditional transformer.

I think he got rid of his Energon swords because in TF5 we see they were replaced by regular metal ones. Galvatron did destroy 1 but Optimus has 2. But yes he also has a shotgun that he used in TF5 and his shield can also be a gun.

I still think prime mode is stronger especially if you included his flying pack and I think prime modes design is still a bit better

While knight mode may have a slightly better body and better features, his skill level is still the same from dotm and on. Because right after dotm the autobots were forced into hiding so there Optimus would just be sitting around for years, only moving when needed. And when we see him go against Galvatron he does struggle a bit. And it's worth noting Galvatron is basically a scaled down, weaker version of 07 Megatron. So if knight Optimus had a bit of trouble with him then 07 Megatron would still top knight Optimus.

Optimus was in stasis for a while after Mexico City. He had to have driven around a bit because he got into Texas, but after that, he was in stasis. So he was kind of sleeping. He wasn't in full-fledge stasis-lock like Sentinel, but he was in a form of stasis. Optimus did struggle for a bit against Galvatron but he was looking out for Tessa. And Optimus did have Galvatron pinned to the ground. I still think Optimus is stronger than Galvatron, but there is a really good chance that 2007 Megatron is indeed stronger than all of Optimus Prime's modes.

@@prime_bits here's the thing, the fight ended when Optimus had the upper hand. That doesn't mean Optimus would've won, Galvatron was very clearly dominating in the beginning, so if the fight ended there, would that mean Galvatron was stronger? I'm sure most would not agree with that. So saying that Optimus was stronger just because he had the upper hand when the fight was stopped shouldn't be valid. And seeing how Optimus fought in the forest battle, Tessa had 0 impact on that fight. Optimus almost steps on Sam numerous times which proves onces he's in fight mode he's in to win or die. I know some people say he was holding back against Megatron but if Optimus has shown us anything its that he always goes full on.

@@OneWithNoFace Very good points. But I do think at the start of the fight he was concerned about Tessa's safety. We see him look down at her (twice in total, on separate occasions) to check on her. Then Optimus says "you have no soul" and then he locks in. Then Optimus "appeared" to have the upper hand after that. But I don't know if we saw enough of the fight to truly determine who is stronger. Also, Galvatron had like no screen time besides that fight. It is kind of a blurry comparison.

He went from having pair of guns a different pair of guns a pair of burning energon swords a pair of burning energon curved blades a knuckle weapon (may or not have one on the other hand) a rocket launcher an axe an chainsaw an jetpack an trailer to store most of the stuff and the rest is just on him To having: flight (what he barely used) and a handheld sword A shield I'm not really knowledgeable on combat to know if blades extending out of the forehand or a handheld sword is better but Prime 100% lost out big time in AOE and TLK. Optimus is a lot quicker on his feet in 4 and 5 but I wish he kept some of his iconic loadout

Yeah, Prime Mode did have a lot of weapons. But more weapons doesn't = better, necessarily. Think about this, Sentinel beat Optimus with just a sword and shield. Megatron won the War on Cybertron with just a wrecking ball, a fusion cannon, a spear, and a gun. So more Weapons doesn't make him more powerful necessarily, it does make him more adaptable on a Battlefield, so Prime Mode is probably better for Wars. The Sword and Shield that Optimus got in AOE were WAY higher quality weapons compared to his other ones. The Sword can slice straight through people, his Energon swords couldn't cut through Megatron in TF2. His shield is a big advantage as well, it can be used as a gun, or as a shield. Optimus also adopted a better fighting style in AOE compared to before that. It is a much more effective combat style, it is similar to Sentinel Prime's (which Sentinel cooked Optimus with in TF3).

Optimus whether knight or prime is still A Memorable, Metal Savior

Knight mode weapons wasn't really that quality Prime mode still stomps because when knight had been throw away his sword he had less weapon(even prime mode had shield too and its bigger) uptimus was always in war so he needs a lot of weapon on his body, knockle, back axe, arm rifle, back rifle, and many more cool stuffs

The sword and shield are not his original weapons. Stellarcycles before Optimus and the Autobots turned into protoforms to crash land safely on earth Optimus Primes true form was his Cybetertronian form which resembled his OG movie 1-3 counterpart just with different colour, mold and curves but same body shape looking in the TF 2095 Fandom Png image confirmed by Transformers itself. He didn't have an appearance of a Knight and humanoid form which means that knight Optimus wasn't his true form, it was the OG form

You could be completely correct, but after TF4 and 5 cannon was broken. We don't know Optimus Prime's exact origins now. However, I think it is reasonable that Optimus was built as a Knight by Quintessa. Quintessa said to him "I made you", now she could be lying, but she knew Optimus's name. Optimus also says in TF4 "recognize one of your Knights", so he was a Knight at some point. He could have been created as a Knight, or as a Prime, or both. Since his origins are unknown post TF4 and 5, it has to involve head-cannon, this is what I personally think is likely.

It's hard to explain but what makes prime mode slightly better is if you compare the two body's in transformers 2007, revenge of the fallen and dark of the moon it's less bulky so it makes it easier and faster to move around with the last night and age of extinction it's more bulky but the main difficulty to explain is there are not many fight scenes in age of extinction and the last night well there is but they aren't much there not like the fight scenes from the previous movies in age of extinction you have pretty much two primary fight scenes with optimus prime and if you notice both fight scenes optimus moves slightly slower and in the last night he is much stronger but there are not many moments to see

Also Knight Mode can fly without needing extra parts which I think gives him an advantage.

@prime_bits I understand I'm just saying that there are bits and pieces with both bodies that have features that make one better then another but I feel like prime mode was a bit more suited for battle then knight mode mostly because you do not see many battles in age of extinction and the last knight that involves optimus prime because with prime mode he has a few courses of weapons swords, blasters, fists, hooks and in dark of the moon in the final battle he has an axe in age of extinction and the last knight he basically has a sword a shield and fists

his agility remained the same as in tf1 he did a backflip in his fight with bonecrusher, and in tf2 while saving sam he also did a back flip while firing at megatron and hitting him mid air, ill have to disagree

Very true, they could just be the exact same agility wise. But if you look closely when Optimus jumps onto Demolisher in TF2, you can see his body kind of swing awkwardly. But in TF4, when Optimus is jumping around fighting Grimlock, his body doesn't swing awkwardly at all. Perhaps Optimus purposefully swung his body in TF2, but it looked kind of weird. This could just be me over analyzing though. In fact perhaps they are the same. But still even with that, Knight Optimus can fly which I think gives him an edge.

I don't know about that. He might be the most capable fighter in the Bayverse, but his willingness to protect others can be a disadvantage. The only people to beat Optimus without Optimus getting severely distracted are Sentinel Prime and 2007 Megatron. Both of those villains said something important. Megatron said "You still fight for the weak! That is why, you lose!", so Megatron tells us that Optimus loses because of his compassion. Sentinel said "You were always the bravest of us all, but you could never make the hard decisions!", I think this means that Optimus's compassion affected the outcome of certain scenarios in a negative way. So even though Optimus is arguably the most capable, his willingness to protect others makes him lose. Think about this: Why did Optimus die in The Forest Battle? Because of looking out for Sam (his compassion). Why did Optimus lose against Lockdown? Because of saving Cade (his compassion). His compassion is what makes him an awesome character, but it also makes him lose sometimes.

I like them both but Knight Prime is badass 🔥

its your opinion guys but i preffer when he looks more like alien than tall mechanical knight. But head with face is better in knight mode the face and shield and smokestucks i love on knight form also his eyes looks more like eyes than iluminati logos but 2007-dotm-evasion have that vibe aka nostalgic i love his huge duck feet on old form, his windows with doors as chest and his blocky arms and also he looks like truck he is just build from peterbilt pieces. I dont see any western star parts on knight form only smokestucks and lit a bit doors on his chest but thars all. Knight form should be great look as protoform. Gave knight form prime some truck parts make him look more like transformer less like human and let his face renain because his face in knight form looks more like he feel emotion than the old face from 2007 with huge nose triangle eyes and weak jewline. Sentinel Prime looks better than 2007 optimus prime. Sentinel Prime no matter if you like him or not has the best design what looks like knight but still like transformer who transform into something in the same way. Also Sentinel Que and wreckers were the first 5 bayformers who stsrted theese more humanoid designs and aoe keep that idea

Prime’s winning in my opinion. If he enters his jet form which was able to kill of the Fallen with ease, then he would win. Even though Knight can fly as well, he barely shows it off enough so him flying as much as Prime does is unlikely.

Not to mention that this Prime was able to take on heavy hitters such as Shockwave while also cutting down armies of Decepticons just to completely remove Shockwave’s kidney with his knuckle dusters.

The sword was able to slice straight through people, but Optimus wasn't able to cut off any of Megatron's limbs during the Forrest Battle, even though Optimus got some good hits. Prime Mode did finish Shockwave off quickly, but Knight Optimus did kill Inferncus really easily, he was also really powerful. The Bayverse definitely has some inconsistencies so there are valid arguments for Prime Mode being stronger, one of those being, that Prime Mode has more weapons, but still I think Knight Mode is slightly all-around stronger. Due to the enhanced agility, higher quality weapons (even though he has lees), and the ability to fly.
