The planet level Pac-Man thing is from a completely separate timeline, and basically has nothing to do with the Pac-Man presented in Smash. That being said, Pac-Man 256 does give him a power-up where he can turn anyone around him into cherries, so we still lose.

Pac-Man can destroy mechs in the World trilogy with just physical strength. And the mechs are easily bigger than most automobiles. Closer to the size of semi trucks. He’s also got access to a special pellet that can shoot a death laser and disintegrate the target instantly.

Consider only the original Pac-man game as canon and you STILL lose. Ghosts are probably pretty fast, Pac-man has the speed and intelligence to dodge said ghosts until the universe crumbles just from how long Pac-man has been surviving for, and Pac-man could try to eat your soul using the power pellet, though who knows how'd that turn out. All in all, he'd either evade you until you gave up or possibly even give you a fate worse than death.

Like Joker, the P4 protagonist needs to throw you into a TV to use his powers. However, the P3 protagonist could literally wait til Dark Hour and win. Unlike the Metaverse or Midnight Channel, the Dark Hour is out for blood

Most of these are (for me at the every least) dependant based on if weapons and/or magic is allowed or if its a hand to hand fight.

All of these are (for me at the very least) dependent based on if I can manipulate the game’s very reality and foundation based on my awareness of the fourth wall and the fact that Smash is still just a video game at the end of the day. Kinda like a few certain indie game characters who had done just that. And take advantage of the fact that all of the fighters are only toys brought to life by the imagination of some child.

Lets not forget though that roy is pretty infamous for being a pretty weak unit. Robin, lucina, and chrom are only able to fight grima because they received a lot of help from naga. On top of that they fought the avatar of grima rather than the body of grima itself. With lucina and chrom, their weapons were specifically designed to be strong against grima. Well marth in shadow dragon is notoriously weak. Even maxed out he is still likely to get killed by medeaus if he doesn't have help Corrin's ability to fight dragons larger than themselves isn't as impressive when you realize it amounts to stabbing its toes so it lowers its head, then stabbing it in the eye a bunch while said dragon doesn't really move Never seen ike break boulders with his sword. I have seen him eat rock and get stuck in pit falls though There is still a major point that still stands. The mortality of these characters. All of these characters are fairly mortal and susceptible to conventional weapons and traps. Some more so than others. They are also not immune to simple bad luck as well.

Yeah I would probably lose against almost all of them except the robot

Exactly. With that awareness, you should have some form of advantage over the very fabric and foundation of the Smash Bros. universe. Manipulate the boundaries of its reality. Maybe even have it all be assimilated into you. I just say that because characters with Fourth Wall Awareness can find some way of manipulating the fourth wall. Monika from DDLC is a favorite example of mine.

I mean, I'd prefer to consider Olimar at a more Smash-style scale than canon size, because I think it makes more sense to compare like that (getting into canon sizes really gets mucky since some of these chararcters have wildly variable canon sizes). That said, Olimar still loses as long as you get him away from his Pikmin.

The fun part is most of these characters are actually super chill so it would be more fun to just hang out. The villains obviously do not fall into said category. Also wrong right out the box but not a big surprise.

Yeah, the first three Paper Mario games seem to intend Paper Mario to be the same Mario from the main series but then they changed everything with Sticker Star...

I would say that Snake, Zero Suit Samus, half the Fire Emblem roster, Captain Falcon (Without items), Joker (In the "real" world), and possibly the mario roster (if you are permitted to use the items that have boosted their stats); this of course is assuming you are a peak health and optimal human combatant. Many of these would definitely require items. Everyone else in the "You Lose" tier, would wipe the floor with the strongest human on Earth. MewTwo might as well be considered proto Gygas, since that's what Gygas started out as in Mother 1 / Earthbound Zero. Kirby's so powerful, that he would wag his finger at any human opponent. Sephiroth... well you better hope Shulk stops him from blowing up the Earth.

Edit: I forgot Samus was injected with metroid genes. She is definitely beyond a peak human's combat capability. Though Snake was a genetically engineered human, he is still human. A peak human would still be on equal footing against him. If Raiden was in Smash, however, Peak Human would get destroyed.

Possible strategies to have odds more in your favor. Pokémon's and animals that would fit as Pokémon (like Yoshi) or plant-like character : homemade incendiaries. All minor fighters : The Van Strategy. Pit (and possibly Dark Pit) : Call Kratos. Luigi : psychological warfare.

Technically if you fight Bowser on his bridge, you can "win" the fight by reaching the axe, though he will survive the lava. He's basically invincible, so if he manages to hit you before you reach the axe, or if you're fighting him in any other environment, he will easily murder you.

The Miis, it would be a fair fight, and after that, we'll be buddies. We'd go bowling together, drive go-karts and eat ham and cheese toasties.

Unless the Pokemon Trainer is Ash who can pick up a massive tree and hurl it and jump like 80 feet in the air.

Your logic about video game inventories not really translating to the strength of the characters isn't necessary when talking about Minecraft characters, since the world canonically works on its own laws of physics, when items are put into your inventory they essentially lose all weight and mass. Not to mention that the mere act of touching something with the intent to harm does damage, there's no real strength involved in it.

Overkill many of the smash characters has great feats so yea

lol Sephiroth I'd say on a one-on-one sword fight, a skilled swordman could take on characters like Marth, Lucina, and Roy (who is only 15). Chrom and Ike would be more difficult and Robin could read your every move, but they could still be possible. Corrin's sword is a chainsaw and Byleth can rewind time, so that's a nope.

Several reasons. One: Charizard, Ivysaur, and Squirtle are all Gen 1 Pokemon and aren't really associated with the other protagonists like they are with Red and Leaf. Two: That would mean creating a lot of extra character models for what is essentially a background character, which can be a lot of unnecessary work. Three: Even if Nintendo owns one third of them, the Pokemon Company can be very stingy about what they allow in non-Pokemon games.

The only ones we can reasonably beat, are the ice climbers, rob, olimar, and Mr game and watch.

I can beat Sephiroth EZ. Honestly, I don't see why everyone is scared of him. Did you see how easy he was in SMG4?

Remember, as a wise man on KZread mentioned, Kirby is canonically 8 inches tall, and since we don't emit those shockwaves that Kirby can inhale, easy win

I’d beat ROB, if he’s the toy and not the way he is in Smash, and maybe a Mii if they are just a normal person. But otherwise I’d get my shit rocked. Some people might say they can beat Duck Hunt Dog. But they forget that he has a sniper helping him and other armed gunmen as well. Some people say Villager. Which is possible. Just be sure he doesn’t land a hit with his hatchet or smash your skull with a bowling ball. The Mii Fighters all have powerful and deadly weapons or are just incredibly skilled martial artists. The only one I would probably beat without issue that I have no right to beat is Mega Man. Because he wouldn’t kill a human and he’d forfeit the fight. So you wouldn’t have to fight him. (If he didn’t he would easily kill anyone who faces him. Even if they had weapons or explosives) No one is beating Wario. Guy can just say no to death and gains powers from being injured. Donkey Kong would punch someone so hard they’d splatter on the moon. Diddy would rip a human apart like any normal ape/monkey can. He’s just got the increased strength of being a video game protagonist. So he is way stronger than any normal monkey or ape. Pichu would kill someone by accident. Wii Fit Trainer would probably put up a decent fight against anyone if it’s just hand to hand. Little Mac has fought people that punch down buildings or punch bulls so hard they go flying over the horizon. He’s not being beaten by any normal people or any person using a gun. Min Min is the same as well. Actually she’d be worse to fight because of her weapons and dragon arm. Ness fought a cosmic horror and survived. Lucas has a Franklin Badge and he’s fought dinosaurs and cyborg dinosaurs and other horrific monsters and pig nazi soldiers and won. Steve is like Villager but worse as he has TNT and other weapons beyond an axe. He has a sword, bow, and pick axe. And it doesn’t take him long to make them either. And he could potentially splash you with lava he has in a bucket. Any mascot protagonist is generally super human by default. So Mario, Luigi, and Banjo would just splatter a normal man or woman with one punch.

Nothing stands a chance against Kirby

I'd still find a way to lose against Olimar.

With my awareness of the fact that all of the fighters and assist trophies in Smash are nothing more than a bunch of toys brought to life by an entity who represents a child’s imagination, would I be able to gain some advantage over the very fabric of Smash’s reality and universe in question by taking advantage of the fact that they’re just a bunch of toys brought to life? Should I collect the toys? Collect them and take control of them perhaps? Or better yet, have them and all of those “Spirits” that exist in Ultimate be assimilated into my very being or is that just a bad idea? Similar to a video game character who takes full advantage of their awareness of the fourth wall by directly interacting with and manipulating the fourth wall and the entire game itself? Hell, with the very cosmic awareness of Smash Bros just being nothing more than a video game, you could have some form of advantage over the entire game itself and the programming/coding that makes up its whole reality. You could probably go as far as to manipulate its game files and “delete” certain assets or destroy the game’s entire universe, which is what I contemplate doing. *Sigh* I’m just thinking like Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club or how Flowey managed to take over the entire game of Undertale at the end of the neutral route really. Oh, what am I thinking? I’m just going too far with all of this.

If palworld is anything to go off of I win against all pokemon except Mewtwo. Maybe lucario as well. Edit: greninja as well.

I have to disagree about Mr. Game & Watch being beatable. That's like saying you can defeat a living toon character or Jim Carey's "The Mask." Also with planning, you could beat Bulbasaur with a makeshift fire weapon. The only Pokémons on the list, that would win against a human are MewTwo, Charzard, Incineroar, Lucario, and Greninja.

On the note of Kirby characters, Kirby is canonically about 8 inches tall. That doesn't mean Kirby *couldn't* absorb you but it would take special items to do so. As for Meta Knight and King Dedede, they could certainly damage you but most anybody would still be far bigger than them. You could grab 'em, one in each hand, and bash their heads against each other like toys. Captain Falcon is also a bounty hunter. Idk about yall but I def wouldn't be able to stand against hardened criminals. *But Falcon made it his job to hunt them out*. Plus future tech and lightning quick reflexes given that he regularly races cars going hundreds of kilometer/mile/speed per hour.

after years of kirby lore research i can confirm that i can easily beat kirby. you said you wouldn't count non-canon material, but for some reason you mentioned the non-canon minigames, the non-canon pocket dimension in the non-canon anime, and the non-existent gods. kirby is 8 inches tall, you can literally just kick him and you win, he canonically doesn't even kill his enemies.

What confirms those minigames are non canon exactly? I can understand the planet cracking one but nothing suggests the one with the meteors isn't. And wdym non existent? Plenty of final bosses in those games end up getting powers that are clearly too much for any human. Like, wasn't galacta knight explicitely stated to destroy planets? And didn't magolor litteraly cause a dimension to be destroyed?

The word "god" doesn't mean anything, those characters are still clearly more powerful than any human And the whole franchise is a bunch of cartoonish scenarios with cartoonish physics that aren't supposed to make sense, it makes no sense to say something is non canon for something that applies to the whole franchise.

@@RHVGamer Cool. Doesn't change anything. Those characters don't magically become weak just because that word isn't used to describe them. They're still outright shown to be powerful

Come on,seriously? You can't just give to A link between worlds Zelda the same powers that all other Zelda have. Also At least A link between worlds Zelda doesn't do anything relatable and just gets kidnapped.So if you can kidnap her,imagine how easy is defeating her. Breath of the Wild would win,Ocarina of Time Zelda can trasform into Sheik to fight and then we have Twilight Princess Zelda who hadn't problems fighting vs TP Link.
