Thank you. It is so hard to choose a good pair of shoes. I currently have the Kayano 29. They are the best running shoes I have ever owned and by a long shot the most expensive. Your videos make me feel so much better about just spending the extra money and getting a good pair of shoes. You do a great job representing the shoes objectively. Thank you so much.

860 v12 has been my favorite stability trainer

I have the Vongo V5 X-wide which I've been extremely happy with as it still puts a smile on me after 5 months in rotation, i was going to choose between the 1080 V13 or the Vongo V6 because their Fresh Foam X seems to get better with each new iteration, i have the Saucony guide 16 which feels great underfoot as they say but thats why i like watching multiple reviews to see what shoes repeatedly hit high marks, i didn't exactly have the Kayano 30 on my radar but seeing it up close motivates me to at least try it out at the shoe store, its great to get deals through Amazon but its annoying when you get excited about a new pair of shoes only to be disappointed by the time it arrives & you discover it sucks & you gotta send it back, i will say its refreshing to get honest reviews without the BS

I have your rotation: Vongo v5 and guide 15. I’m a heavier runner and do about 30mi per week. The Kayano 30 will break down FAST. It’s been a problem since ASICS got away from the traditional old school foams. I wouldn’t touch them for over $90. I just reordered shoes for this year and went with the Vongo V6 (I hope they’re still just as durable) and Guide 15 (updates in the 16 weren’t worth the extra $40 to me) as my continued tempo workhorse for the total price of one pair of the Kayano 30.

Perhaps oddly, I am very interested to see how stable the 'More v5' will be. More v3, with orthotic made a great, stable option for me. Vongo 6 seems aimed at a different customer, as I am stuck with wide-platform feet. Kayano 30 seems interesting, if the price ever gets reasonable.

I will have to go with Vongo V6, the plate is something special! Kayano 30 gave me blisters 😢

I have the Vongo V5 with 222 miles and the Kayano 30 with 107 miles. Just ran a 1/2 marathon in the Kayano and it was fine, although a tad heavy. I’ve enjoyed the Vongo V5 except for the absence of a gusseted tongue which has to be adjusted on my left foot during a run. I think I’ll try the Vongo V6 as I’d like a lighter max stability shoe.

@@janszczydomiski3173 originally I would say yes, but I think the foam is losing its responsiveness overtime. I’m about to retire these shoes, but enjoyed them while they were fresh.

The Kayano 30 is the BEST SHOE I OWN!! Get it and thank me later

I tried he Kayano 30 today and wasn't impressed. Felt to high and too much rocker at the front. I ended getting the NB 860 V13 which was better than the Brooks Adrenaline GTS23 (great upper but felt unstable at the front).

G2000-12 is the vongo 6 true alternative

Neither. The kayano 28/29 was great. The 30 has an aggressive 10 mm drop. You want a good stability shoe that’s still light, bouncy, fun? Saucony Tempus.

@@lakkadbagga For me, the older versions of kayano were very comfortable. upper was plush. Midsole was soft, enough bounce for easy runs, acceptable weight. And did it’s job in terms of stability. It just wasn’t versatile enough for me and didn’t have the excitement of the tempus. I now use kayanos for long shifts at work when my legs are tired. Use the tempus when I want some stability as I continue so strengthen my feet/hips.

Tempus is terrible for flat feet tho. Kayano is perfect for flat feet.
