Which remaining free agents should the Cleveland Browns bring in for training camp?

The Cleveland Browns have one of the best rosters in the NFL but are there any free agents left that could help? The panel gives their choices for which free agents they still want to pick up.
Our Browns training camp previews roll on as the offensive backfield remains the focus, this time with the running back room.
Fans are certainly thrilled to have Nick Chubb returning this season after that gruesome knee injury he suffered in Pittsburgh last season. There was a lot of uncertainty about his future with the team this offseason, but he's back and figures to be the lead horse once he's healthy.

Sign Coop back is the first move we need to make. And bring Justin Simmons in.

I agree we might need more cornerback depth, safety not so much. There's not many holes. Jed Wills will be far less of a problem than people think. Obviously Cooper needs to be signed. I hope Cedric Tillman turns into a high speed beast.

If you say Michael Thomas, you're just speaking out of emotions. Being an ohio State fan. He is old and injury prone.

Only way they bring in a tackle is if they don't believe in Jed. If that's the case they're drafting a tackle first round next year

Between Jason always looking disinterested and McNuggets saying how stacked the roster is…it’s hard to take you guys seriously. Holes? We got em. LT is a huge problem. Christian came in off the street and was more stabilizing than Wills. If Wills does not improve, then we will be wasting games forcing him as starter to the detriment of the rest of the team. LG is shaky. Bitonio has been solid his whole career, but he’s on the back end of that. Maybe Dunn can step in and not miss a beat. Center is pretty solid with Pocic and Wypler RG is probably solid with Teller and Zinter. RT is deep with Jones, Conklin and Hudson TE is thin. Njoku is the only threat there. WR1 is holding out WR2 is trying to establish himself as a bona fide WR2 WR3 is a guy who has to step up The depth is solid but unspectacular. Michael Thomas is done like dinner. Just forget him and look at camp cuts. There might also be a surprise out of Woods, Lands and Ahmarean Brown QB room is loaded. No holes there. RB is a 1 year mish mash of guys who can produce, but not much of a future building block. After this season, even if Chubb stays on track, this position group needs to draft an heir apparent next year. My recommendation is Ashston Jeanty from Boise St. he could step in as a rookie and be a top 5 RB from game 1. DL is the most loaded group on the team. That said if Garrett would to go down for any length of time, it becomes just good..not great. It’s the engine of the D LBs…oooh boy. Lots of hopium and projection here. But probably not any worse and arguably better than last 2 years here. But there are holes. I’m hopeful Fields and Watson are capable back ups if needed. CB are solid. Most are saying great but I’m not as high as Jason and others sre about Emerson. He was picked on last year and csn be inconsistent. Ward is top 8 CB in the league when he’s on the field. His run support has become legit. Newsome plsys with swagger even if he gets roasted. Not much known about our depth. Could go from strength to hole in a hurry. Safties are legit when healthy. Delpit and Thornhill can ball against any offense. If one or both are out though, it becomes a liability. DBell is solid. Hickman is alright but got abused by Nico Collins. Thornhill being the safety valve cannot be understated. Nobody else on the roster has his skillset…and he’s probably not anything more than above average FS. Guys who could be spark plugs and inject some big plays thst are new. Michael Hall. He looks the part of being the starter at DT by week 4. Nyheim Hines. His athleticism and speed are unmatched on this team. He could be a real weapon at RB-KR-WR. Devin Bush. He could be huge as a pass rushing LB and run stopper. He’ll need help over the top but many LBs do. Alex Wright. Wright could step up and really be a force at DE or DT. He is developing well. James Thrash. I know everyone is hyping Tillman and I hope he can be a Tee Higgins type guy, but Thrash would be our 3rd fastest WR behind Moore and Ahmarean Brown, who likely will not make the team. If he makes the most of his opportunities then maybe he can step into #4 and finally show that this team can develop a WR. K and P are good. We are a solid roster that lacks star power outside of MG and Chubb. Even Watson has lost his star status and is trying to recapture that status. JOK is rising. Ward is elite. Cooper is top 15. Njoku is top 15. But true stars? We lack them.

Look, this is just my opinion but if they was going to extend Coop they would've done it by now but if they think they have enough to reach their goals they're going to move from him and it don't matter what he's getting paid they would've made a move by now and he's posting he's trying to get paid you need to be worried if they pay you when other teams have you underrated and to receive less money elsewhere Go Browns!!!
