    To be honest, I did pr 1 because of Roon (it was during early game) She carried my vanguard dozen times and monarch is good, can't deny it 👍 (idc about the rest of pr 1 💀)

    @@Tha.Sritoh4 I use Monarch in my OpSi fleet (the one that clears mobs), I use Neptune sometimes still. I've used Roon a ton in the past but phased her out for the other tanks in future PR seasons (Anchorage, Agir, Plymouth...)

    For a strategy, set the “season focus” of the research lab to season 4, this way you can get S4 gear blueprints for gear and ships, as well as S3 and S5’s blueprints from time to time. Something that wasn’t mentioned in the video is that seasons have 2 types of catch-ups for ship blueprints, with seasons 1-3 you’re able to purchase blueprints with coins for both SSR and UR ships, while in season 4 you can only purchase SSR blue prints, and you’re unable to do this in seasons 5 and 6. The second catch up is the one where you focus on researching a ship, if you don’t plan on getting a S5 or S6 ship, only use the research focus AFTER you’re finished with the development of the ship (I.e development level 30 + fate simulation), buy as many blueprints as you can with coins and then turn the extra blueprints into prototype data, then use the data to buy blueprints for UR gear or Blueprints for S6 and S5 ships. If you’re unable to start the research of any ship of your interest due to a lack of points, just keep stacking resources until you get enough points to start building it, this game is meant to be played on the long run and mistakes like using your UR blueprints to speed up the development of azuma or FDG can make it even longer, since you won’t be able to use those blueprints for ships without catchup, a single DR ship of S5 or 6 can take you months to get to development Lvl 30.

    PR4 hits way above its class. All five ships are great, even MP. Tenrai's are the best as well. With Izumo Augment, I would say that opens the door to other PR ships getting modern upgrades soon, so watch this space I guess.

    Yeah, it would be nice if Roon's augment did something about her ammo switching. Maybe make it only switch if the ammo is not compatible with what she is shooting at. (ie if she is shooting at light armor, it switches to HE. If she hits a heavy armor, she switches to AP)

    My issue is I need like 600 tech points to even start these ships. Feels like it will take forever to get there unless I'm missing something.

    It will come eventually. For each ship it's tech points are roughly split out in 1/3 each for acquiring the ship, max limit breaking it and leveling it to 120. The easiest way to buff up your tech points is to gather as many ships as possible from the faction you are focusing on. Then level those ships to 70 using a farming fleet or exp books so you can max limit break. This will give 2/3 of the tech without needing the long grind of getting them to 120. The possible tech points for a ship range from approximately 10 for a common up to 100+ for a UR. So each rare/elite ship you get to 70 with max LB can give you around 30 points or so towards the tech of their faction.

    @@aronnax898 Glad I could be of help! PR is a marathon and not a sprint. Just keep working on your collection and the tech points will come eventually. Also earlier PR can snowball into later PR for a particular faction. For example if you were targeting a later Sakura Empire ship like Hakuryuu but didn't have the tech points for it, you can instead work on an earlier Sakura Empire ship like Izumo or Ibuki in the meantime. While farming for the earlier ships you will need to grind EXP with that faction, which will lead to that faction's ships getting to level 70 and being able to max LB. So grinding out the earlier ships of a faction is a perfect way to focus on gaining the tech point requirements of the ship you are trying to unlock. Getting two birds with one stone!

    Level up the faction ships, and fully limit break them. Best way to level them up is just put them in your dorm will about 70, to be able to LB them.

    And to tag onto the others, some ships it is configured such that you should research the lower tier ship to make getting the higher tier ship easier. For example, unlocking the French Battleships at Tier 2 and 3 make it easier to earn Flandre at Tier 6.

    I pretty much started with PR5 because I first started playing during Chinese New Years, so I was able to get enough points to start on Harbin (My second research ship I completed), and I got to say, was VERY much worth it because of the Chinese mob fleet being really strong, even now in OPSI I use them all the time. It's also funny that the next ship I researched was Brest because I took some time to get ships from war archives because I was at the point that I just needed 2 more ships from Iris Libre to start the research. I am happy with my choice.

    Monarch has been very reliable, Hakuryuu has been a beast along with FDG and Ulrich von Hutten.

    Imo, PR1 ships are the best for new players to build. That said, researching the PR4 prints is likely the best for end game but a new player will not have the fleet tech to unlock Agir/Anchorage etc.

    Unlocking the Priority tiers in order does make it easier to acquire the later ones in a more timely fashion.

    How do you get 100s of prints for the ships you’ve already maxed out? The research stops showing up for me for them, can you still get them from random research or are you spending the universal prints on them?

    PR4 also has the very good replacement for Quad Bofors, twin 90mm.

    All things being equal, its probably reverse order...although Plymouth (PR5) may be the most important ship in the entire shipyard. But as others have said new players probably cannot access later seasons until they have been around quite a while due to tech points.

    i agree with this choice maybe with the sole exception of switching PR5 with PR6 because PR5 has catch up while PR6 doesnt so it will take far longer to finish PR6 And PR5 has some really good ships also such as brest and ply. I woudl however advice getting Azuma Drake and FDG before moving on to the high end PRs in order to be ablet o spend gold daily for their blueprints.

The amount of planes are so absurd that you have a new supporting CV fleet system, they don't actually participate in battles/sending airstrikes, they're just there to send out extra fighters to help intercept enemy planes(this is where the lusty class got their time to shine or any CVs with 2 fighter slots with good efficiency) AA powerhouses and tanks are crucial to clear chap 15 bcs the amount of planes, tankiness and the damage the enemies have is just frustrating if you're not prepared enough

    @Tha.Sritoh4 yeah. It's much harder than the previously hardest content 13-4 hard mode. I wouldn't have completed it without exactly the premier mob fleet (Guam and Laffey)

    San Diego does lose out on 24 anti-air stat with a new augment. But the new augments makes her barrage ignore enemies shields. It also gives her a decent amount of evasion and a higher amount of firepower than the crossbow did. The new upgraded skill has a 15% chance to increase your entire fleet, AA by 50% for 8 seconds.
