It's kinda embarrassing that Logitech bought Blue, a respected mic company, only for their headphone mics to be some of the worst in the lot.

Yeah it's rediculous.
Corsair's HS80 is the clear winner here. Logitech's options were shockingly terrible, especially the Pro X Wireless at $230... WOOF.

@@ericandrade9415 it was a software issue. Icue update solved it. I've had better sounding headphones, but they're a solid 7/10. Mic is great

The turtle beach and the Corsair sounded the best
Sennheiser mics such as the pc38x sound better than any of these, and the audio quality is far better as well. For around $100, something like the pc38x or cheaper pc37x is a killer headset
The first one worth 80$ sounds decent to me. But Corsair sounds the best
The Turtle Beach and Corsair HS80 sounds more natural to me.

Tbh as long as the mic sounds ok, and friends can hear me fine, im cool with that since im not personally benefiting from it lol. The g435 is $33 at target right now. So a solid deal for a wireless headset if you like more open sounding headphones.
Really impressed by that turtle beach mic. Nice to see my mic seems to be the best though 😂

The sennheiser pc38x are not on here. Probably because they are not a popular gaming brand. Best pair of gaming headsets I've used, and I've used to have A50. Sure, they are wired but the mic clarity and sound is just at another level in my opinion....specially since they are a few years old.

Yes they do no justice to the wired headset that actually outperform most of these mics mentioned
Honestly, they all sounded bad except the HS80 and clip on mic.
Not about the mic but in general what’s the best gaming headset out there? Besides the nova pro wireless..
If only those Sony Pulse headphones were OVER THE EAR like all their previous ones. and why are those the only headphones that are under $100 that easily lets you adjust game volume and chat?
the HS80 is on sale right now, might wanna hop on that.

Any great headphones with microphone noise canceling out of the box? Trying to get rid of the background noise (for example, that loud lawnmower or someone is using a vacuum beside me)

I've been using the same $5 headset for 3 years now and the mic audio is finally busted. So time to invest in a better one.

AFAIK the reason the bluetooth sound bad its because they all use hands-free bluetooth not stereo, due to low bandwith bluetooth is able to transmist audio and microfone at the same time. thats why wired headphone/headset is the better choice
